With the promotion at work… I find myself with increasing less time for other things… Iv been trying to ramp up the content again… appreciate you staying with us 😂
Same thing happened to me. The Metalcloak guys are awesome, they actually redesigned this shock a bit where the spacer at the top has an aluminum extension that prevents this from happening. Took a pic, sent it in and they replaced it for free!
If it was a shock bushing you would hear that in 2wd right? Mine's just popping in 4hi and at a higher speed I'm sure it's the driveshaft CV..click/pop/clunk, you have to be more specific :)
Possible reasons could be Tie Rod ends and Drag Link (my allignment was off and i saw the boots were shredded so that was my first go) more of the noise is gone but ill check the driveshaft
I wonder if my p0430 code still is the root of the issue everything g is replaced but maybe the code is throwing is causing the clunking is it worth trying the o2 sensor again idk anymore
I was just under my Jeep (JKU) and shaking my rear driveshaft to see if the joints were bad I realized that the entire transfer case and transmission are able to move up and down maybe half an inch or so. Is it supposed to do that? They are rubber bushings. And I imagine it’s allowed to have some vibration like that. But I’m not sure.
Thts really odd… those shouldn’t be moving tht will create binding in all the wrong places if you are hitting something off… The bushing tht holds it to the cross beam is rubber… to help damped the road vibrations… but if your moving it solely by hand… the bolts my head loose.. or the bushings need replaced
@@JLLIFEOFFROAD yea I’m thinking the bushings need to be replaced. I’m going to check the bolts this weekend but I’m pretty sure they’re good. Replacing those bushings won’t be easy as my crossmember has the lower link mounts built into it. But we’ll see. Thanks!
Lol, added resi shocks a few videos ago to replace these… they were getting to soft… Heathen is good… both Jeeps still operational 😂 we will be pushing out a wheeling video Friday
Hi, I just bought my jeep gladiator 2 months ago and I start having clicking sound coming from my rear drive shaft everytime I put in reverse from park. Is it normal having that clicking sound?
My 2020 Rubicon Gladiator was bought in November 2019. I’ve tried to get a Jeep dealership to fix my vibration issues. The transmission does not downshift properly in the 8 speed auto and now the up shift is sluggish after they flashed the engine. The vibration is more consistent now like as steady vibration versus the previous intermittent vibration. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated if anyone has had this same issue. I’m running out of warranty.
Miss your regular Jeep content. Glad you are still around.

Tommorow gonna see what the thoughts are on the o2 but I feel like that isn't the problem I feel its something more mechanical but who am I to say
What if the clunking is happening all the time when in gear and speeds up as my car goes faster but doesn't happen when car rolling in neutral?
I have same exact issue, you figure yours out?
I usually get the clunk noise when I’m in 2 wheel drive, the clunk definitely goes way when I put it in 4x4. Any idea on what the issue is???

Good to see you Mo.
How's Heathen holding up, She clanking around?
How you going to pay for those new shocks now, some night of contests??

A garage i went to said looks like swaybar bushings, is that possible?
I did mention that at the end… to trouble shoot… disconnect your sway links …. If itv stops… boom
So at the end the problem was the shock bushing? Thanks!
great job m8

No, I would check u-joints
@@paulhance9787 u joint is okay. It’s only happen when the idle is high especially first start in the morning.
