I think at the very end... Hae Sung found closure. He was never rude to Nora during the entire film... but while waiting for the Uber on the final scene, he tells Nora "You are the one who always leaves". I never left". This is absolutely true as Nora leaves him as children to go to Canada and then she leaves him again when reconnected 12 years after to focus on her career. Those words from Hae Sung broke her (literally) when she (once again) becomes a "crybaby" in the arms of Arthur. A second watch is a must on this particular movie to piece everything together. Hae Sung leaves on the Uber without looking back. He knows he can now finally move on back in Seoul after finding closure. She is the one that will now struggle with guilt, regret and sadness. I think this movie is very deep and extraordinary. I hope it wins an Oscar.

Oh wow, that looks like it's going to have me in bits! Beautifully done too. Gentle, tender, piercing. Blimey. Looking forward to that one.

You should watch the third 'Before Sunrise' film, it's interesting because they're both in their late 40's/early 50's with grown-up kids and their dynamic is very different but very recognizable too

Looks like a thought provoking movie 🍿🎥. As in people watching will reminisce about their first love their first romantic friendship their first kiss and will wonder where each other are now, 20,30,40, even 50 years on and wonder if those people that were once so special in their lives, Are even still alive?💕🌎🌠 And a thought provoking "I wonder if He/She, ever thinks of me".....

There is a great story of a young boy, 9/11 and the reincarnation of a New York City firefighter who perished in one of the Twin Towers. The full story as told by the boy's mother on (and off) a popular Reincarnation Forum starting in 2007 up to the present day. Fire in the Soul: Reincarnation from Antietam to Ground Zero. The author is Jeffrey Keene a retired Asst. Fire Chief.
