This is possibly the most underrated scene in the episode, I mean the whole scene starting with Xander and Anya nagging Giles about a solution. The whole thing is one long take with Marti Noxon's cameo here, then some other dancers and lastly the broom dancer trio before our three heroes can be heard again talking about burned bodies and police taking 'witness arias'. It's brilliant.
I remember watching that scene and thinking "What did Giles just say?" I rewound and watched it again and laughed my head off. "Witness arias." I agree - brilliant!
It's funny. You cant hear that last line unless you know its there, and when you do know, you completely ignore the dialogue and just listen for that line.

I think it was more or less secrets between the gang that they didn't want revealed. But this lady was just trying to get out of getting that ticket. Lol She wasn't telling the truth... she was making excuses lol.
Funny, but I disagree. She was telling "her truth" lol. She didn't think it was fair, she gave her "Karen-ish" excuses and reasons (which is the scary part, they literally [chose it well] believe them to be "true", or at least "truthy"), then when all else fails, she mentions the truth that she isn't wearing underwear. I think it's totally in line with Sweet's Curse
