Loosing ones voice is one of the worst things ever. The preacher who got healed if it is legit then praise God, for He indeed heals those who truly love Him and are faithful to Him. Doesn't mean that God promises healing to all in the same way. That pastor didn't go asking for prayer or any of that.. He simply preached the truth as the Bible teaches and God showed His miraculous power while He was doing so. Even though this pastor from C3 church is trying to use this story to endorse it into a time of ministry, that testimony is simply to show how God is able to heal, but not the way we think He should. Cause even when Jesus walked this Earth, He didn't heal everyone. He turned many away.

I've been following Christ since I was 24 I am now 47. I am visually impaired and I have been for nearly 17 years. in 1993 before knowing god I was miraculously healed of a foot injury. fast-forward to 1999 I started having eye problems. since then I've had my church my family and friends all pray for me. And nothing has happened yet. what I'm trying to say is my faith has gotten stronger and stronger through the years I have also seen lives change because of my situation. I love God with all my heart. I know he's in control. I don't try to figure out my problems anymore. listening to the word of God for years has done wonders in my life. just felt like sharing. The problem of evil is generally divided into two distinct categories, 1.Moral evil and 2 natural evil. If you were a father of 5 little boys who you loved to bits - would you build them a house filled with hidden traps, each with the capacity to randomly kill or injure them if they happen to pass too closely by one of these traps?

Then why would your creator of the universe and thus of earth, our home, create random catastrophic events which kill or injure humans (and animals) at alarming regularity? Would that reflect the actions of an all loving father or an evil monster?
Well obviously (to any rational person) the answer is neither, because there is no objective evidence that gods, demons, fairies and gnomes actually exist anywhere but in the indoctrinated mush that is the religious brain.

God knows your heart and He knows the work you put in your faith, and He definitely understands your feelings and emotions. you should just pray and ask Him to help you with your doubts. i have some health problems and i struggle with such doubts too so i can completely understand you. we'll be okay 💖

The preacher who got healed if it is legit then praise God, for He indeed heals those who truly love Him and are faithful to Him. Doesn't mean that God promises healing to all in the same way. That pastor didn't go asking for prayer or any of that.. He simply preached the truth as the Bible teaches and God showed His miraculous power while He was doing so. Even though this pastor from C3 church is trying to use this story to endorse it into a time of ministry, that testimony is simply to show how God is able to heal, but not the way we think He should. Cause even when Jesus walked this Earth, He didn't heal everyone. He turned many away.

The Problem of Evil is the most emotional appealing, and therefore the most persuasive, argument against the existence of God. Still it is unsound.First, our notion of evil is anthropocentric. There are many things humans would have be another way, but that does not mean that in the overall scheme of things, they are evil.
The problem of evil is not unsound, it is unsound to those that refuse to accept the obvious. If your god is omniscient, omnibenevolent and omnipotent as you all seem to claim, there would be no reason for the existence of evil either moral or natural. The fact is your argument that perhaps your super being has a greater good and thus allows what we consider evil is flawed in that an omnibenevolent being would recognise that evil in the world would be experienced by humans and animals on planet earth and would therefore achieve ultimate goals by decreasing the incidence of pain and suffering in this world - unless of course he is not able to or he doesn't exist. The question of natural evil ie earthquakes, floods etc raises further concerns as to the existence of any loving super deity - what loving father constructs a world filled with natural deathtraps - freewill? Hardly? Typical Muppet pastor, exorcist, prophet, tool - so indoctrinated by bullshit he cant see the wood for the trees.
You don't believe in the Evil because as soon as God is out of the picture then you cast out the Evil too with moral relativism. Many people turn to atheism because priests rape children, right? So, it's morally relative that the Evil exists for your benefit. But when we say this makes you demons you cry hysterically claiming we're insane for believing in demons/Evil. Pick a side and stay on it.

I've been following Christ since I was 24 I am now 47. I am visually impaired and I have been for nearly 17 years. in 1993 before knowing god I was miraculously healed of a foot injury. fast-forward to 1999 I started having eye problems. since then I've had my church my family and friends all pray for me. And nothing has happened yet. what I'm trying to say is my faith has gotten stronger and stronger through the years I have also seen lives change because of my situation. I love God with all my heart. I know he's in control. I don't try to figure out my problems anymore. listening to the word of God for years has done wonders in my life. just felt like sharing. I mean as you know as a pastor our voice is kind of important. I only do two or three things and one of which is preach. And I cast vision, and I lead. I preach, lead and cast vision as the shepherd.
What is this "casting vision" thing of which he speaks? I've read the Bible through several times and never came across it.
Don't read too much into it. It's just a plan for the future that is shared with the congregation. He envisions the direction they should go in and then casts it or shares it with them.

Sign & wonder to show that Is 53:5 is physical healing and that God is still in the healing business. The spirit doesn't get healed, it is reborn so it must mean physical otherwise God made a mistake when he healed this man physically. If you try to tell me otherwise you came too late as I have experienced it multiple times and you can't argue with results. It was wonderful to see (in this case hear) Is 53:5 confirmed and the guy blessed!

A specialist would be specialized in identifying and addressing conditions in their specialty - I'd assume they can re-diagnose him. That's not the point you're right. Being skeptical of something means you'll look for inconsistencies - this # of doctors thing isn't really something that matters. It's the entire story that is messed, and people just believe it blindly. Even IF the story is real, even IF the man was randomly cured from this illness that has "permanently damaged" his vocal chords and it was "uncurable", that does not mean "God cured him" - Could be many reasons - Also, the story isn't even believable to begin with, these pastors or whatever have a way with words and use key words to make it seem so miraculous. "It damaged the 'nerve tissue' of his vocal chords 'beyond repair'" .. He even says the 200 doctors tried to diagnose and treat him - but yeah. Idk this guy seems to know what the illness was "it was a flu virus that attacked his vocal chord tissue" .. sounds bogus to me
