- For the longest time I’ve wanted a china cymbal for my drum kit so I can play it and feel like a boss, but they’ve always been too expensive for me. So… I decided to make my own using an old crash cymbal! Homemade, DIY, awesomeeeeeee

Does this work with b8 cymbals or will they snap?
My school has a pair of stock pearl brass hi-hats, and when I put my foot on the pedal hard enough, the bottom one buckles. It ends up looking and sounding like a china!

But dude, if you're going to keep this up get at least one decent mic for recording and sharing all your hard work, iPhone mics just don't cut it for capturing the drum/cymbal tones and I wanna hear them tones!!
