- I’ve wanted a stack clap cymbal for my drum kit for a long time, however they’re too expensive for me. So… I decided to make my own! Homemade, DIY, awesomeeeeeee
Say hey to me on Instagram @atomgill
Many thanks to @DonalBowens for letting me know how he made his clap stack, & @rdavidr for the inspiration. Check them out!

you just saved a lot of money, that clap sounds great
wow that suddenly sounded really good!! i actually did this with a friend about a year ago, but we used 2 pairs of hihats that i got for like 5 dollars
This guy🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Finally a great use for those lousy hi-hats that come with low end kits! That sounds great through both a real mic and the phone. Great job.
the chopz tho
A round of applause for the makeshift clap stack👏🏻
I think it sounds great
LMAO THE MCJUGGERNUGGETS CLIP AT THE BEGINNING MY WHOLE CHILDHOOD
definitely a promotion from crappy hi-hats to a decent clap stack, nicely done!
“Does this sound like crap or clap?” Yes
UNDERRATED
You have a really good sense of humor and feel like an experienced TH-cam, i enjoy this! (and that stack)
Sounds very clap and not crap at all!!!
Bro i gonne do this to with my old hi hat set a realy nice idea, and realy great Vids men, you do a great job with youre editing.
Sounds great! Also very funny sense of humor, subscribed!
Since my band has a lot of those default cymbals, I'll definitely do something like this, thx!
Man I'm liking the sound you created there. I might have to have a rummage see what spare/old/nasty cymbals I have lying around.
I have done the exact same thing! It worked well for me too and is now a permanent addition to my kit!
Thinking about doing this with my stock pearl cymbals I got with my roadshow a couple years ago
