I am wondering if the ongoing problem and conflict in the middle east will have any negative (or positive) effects on Cyprus? I know that some companies and institutions are relocating to Cyprus which, over time, will result in an influx of people and businesses, thus pushing up property values.
Any conflict generates waves of people in search of a safe haven. From Lebanon, Israel, Ukraine, Russia, etc. Cyprus today also offers great economic advantages and companies from Europe often move to Cyprus for tax reasons.
What a great and charming video. I really appreciated it. I just bought an apartment in Portugal, but because my son will study there. Anyway I will be looking for another Real State investment in 4 or 5 years and Cyprus could be my first option in the EU. I have some job colleagues(non-EU citizens) who might be interested in an opportunity to invest in Real State and obtain a Golden Visa Status. I will comment this with them. Kr
Thanks for your lovely comment. Much appreciated. Portugal is a great place, but after the cancellation of tax incentives and NHR scheme, Cyprus is a good alternative with a non-dom tax regime for 17 years. Plus property prices are still attractive and you can find good rental options. And the sea is warmer )
So do you want to invest in new homes in Cyprus?
Hi Sander, yes but not for now... I just started a Real State in Portugal.
