I just installed a slim subwoofer in my '21 1500 AT4 Duramax and it was a hassle to run the power cable. Kudos for the engineers who figured out how to come up with most complicated battery removal process in the history of mankind. Not sure if it because mine is diesel, I didn't have space to squeeze my hand in order to pass the battery cable through the firewall without battery removal. Now after all the work, I am returning the slim sub since it is very weak. You can only feel it if you are in the back seat. Going to try a 6.5" bass tube since I don't want to lose the storage bin and also don't want to pay $700 for the Kicker OEM solution. An 8" bazooka would be too big to fit the storage bin.

and probably sound better. i have always used two 6.5" or one 8" bazookas in all of my trucks. i'm thinking about putting them in my 2022. i have been too lazy to tackle this. Another thing i would like to do is to tap into both front channels instead of one. I need to find the wiring colors for my non bose truck.
