Hi, It is most likely the same cluster. It is an easy task taking the cluster out and check all the numbers. Just carry on resoldering, If all corresponde with the given numbers on the video. No risk what so ever!!! I will be happy if you can give me some feedback once you accomplish the job. Thanks

Exactly... Resoldering the two group of resistors ( the numbers are given on my previous description) will solve your problem. You May possibly need magnifying glass to read those very small numbers though)

I don't have to add any new solder over the soldier which is already on there ? Like.. basically just use the soldering iron and press down on the ( original) Soldier?
@@jaybajan you are always better using lead solder to repair joints...I’m not 100% certain about automotive applications due to the excessive vibration the joint will encounter. All I know is anything is better than lead free unless it’s used in a warm environment because it takes more heat to melt lead-free solder. Also just reheat the existing joints without additional solder if you don’t want it to look tampered with if it’s the dials from the dashboard where the odometer is.
Hi bro, my car fortuner diesel 2012 instrument like hilux, on my tank the gas is almost empty, but on fuel gauge stil 1/2 on fuel. Not “E” , if refill fulltank gauge up to “F” but if the gas almost empty thegauge only down to 1/2, is the problem in this video like mine?
Hı Andrey, l had exactly the same problem. This is soo chronic. Just take your cluster out and Do exactly the same job on given numbers of resistors ( resoldering) as you see on the video. That is it. Back to the normal again .

I have solved 14 resistors that show me in the list, but the buoy still does not read well and it will read the resistance in a range of 0 to 110 ohms ... if the operation of the buoy is correct. If your fuel gauge doesn't read after resoldering above mentioned resistors, all I can Think of you should be looking for the rpoblem source somewhere else such as buoy in the tank however is very unlikely...
@@vedatvural9768 I repaired an intermittent cluster on a 2kd hilux by replacing 3 1000uf capacitors. It powers up with all guages working besides the fuel guage. It worked before the repair.

Simply l have resoldered all the given numbers resistors legs. That's all. Those group of resistors (Numbers) have been clearly mentioned on my description in English. Hope this can help. Note: Needless to say taking the cluster out first, open the back white cover to do this job. Also you may need magnifying glass to read all those small numbers.

Or recalibrate the dials?
No need to touch neither arrows nor recalibrate the dials. The job as easy and simple as it is decribed on the video

I say those mentioned resistors to be resoldered for a start. But, you need to resolder all of those that l mentioned on the video description.
