I have good memorization skills, so I could possible get really far in learning lines and such, but I’m not a very visual person or learner, so I don’t think any amount of hard work could get me to this level of playing.

My guess would have been that Naka makes close to $500k a year. I suppose the endorsements for chess are probably pretty miniscule. Still $250k is nothing to scoff at. The tires them selves, a full set, can range from $300 - $1200 for a full set, then people pay a $60 - $90 'labor' fee. Most of that money is simply the tires. I know of no places that charge $1000 to change a set of tires. Unless it's a fuckin Lambo.

Hey Naka, SEP-IRA's have high contribution limits, but so do Individual 401k's. SEP IRA is up to 25% of your salary, not to exceed $56k in 2019. Individual (Solo) 401k is $19k + 20% of income. The limit is the same $56k in 2019. For certain self-employed individuals, a Solo 401k is better, as income may fluctuate and even if you make $20k in that year, you can invest all of it. If you have a SEP IRA, you can only invest $5k that year. @25:57 just buy index funds even if you do have a 'fair chunk of change'.... it gets much larger over the years ;)
