A couple of slushee machines in there would be off the charts. Using a nice consistent premix base and your own style on top. Irresistible when walking past on a hot day. Doing them by the shaker during busy periods can take all the fun out it
Gday Nick, chippy looked yummy, hard to get a good fish n chip shop here in OZ. great news about the exchange booth. It will definately open up Hook Up Corner and probably draw in more punters, cheers
I'm a little surprised by Nick's plans for the exchange booth. It's been a thorn in his side for a while. I was kind of expecting a demolition party or something. Anyway, congrats Nick!
Awesome Nick for getting the cash box, should open up Hook Up corner nicely! Sharpels will be just over the road when Im there for a month in June/July - 31 sleeps till I am in the LOS! My first stop in Pattaya will be Sunday Night on 11th! My shout for some caramels for Martin and You!!
Sharplex looks great. Love the "steak fries". Now bring on the mayo. Well done on expansion. Opening up the place will draw more guests. From the title I thought "he's going into the money business?" Soon "N Bank"! Thanks enjoyed the vlog.
Great idea Nick, having a Vegas takeaway style cocktail bar is a great fit for the brand. Look forward to stopping by one day for a signature cocktail. 🙏👍🍹
Cheers Nick....Andrew from New Jersey. Met you, Martin, Dan Dan and the gang at the x-mas time parties/livestream. Love the progress you've made since then!! Counting the days until my return....
Little known fact. Sarsons vinegar is brewed from British malt, fermented with larch wood wool from the Leighton Estate in Wales and matured in the Siberian pine vats. No other vinegar goes through a fermentation process.
Very busy Wayne but today is a day off with the bars closed. However, I have just been messaged our Indian Indian restaurant has quietly opened. So I'm off to get myself a curry and see to see what it is like.
Hi, I really like Sharples, the Pratamnak one is close to my condo. However I have tried several times to order Haddock, but have to settle settle for cod, as Haddock is 'no have'. I assume it's a supply problem? Cod is good though.
😊 wow mate what a great idea, your growing g in size and stature. I'm thinking that you need a Aussie manager now to draw a great extra crowd. Cheers Mark
Great purchase. Will make the bar so much more inviting and would feel like double capacity. Get the best group of girls in there, not necessarily lookers but best good time girls and it should be packed.

Hi guys. Sharples is definitely a must-visit when I come to Pattaya in December. The fish and chips look lovely, but I am never going to eat them with mushy peas or especially gravy, that's for meat. the last time I had fish and chips in Pattaya was in 2003 at the queen victoria inn on Soi 6. It wasn't bad at all, but I am sure Sharples is going to be a lot better. Great news about being able to get rid of the Exchange booth, it was definitely an eyesore, getting rid of it should attract more customers into the bar. Neil.
That’s just the missing piece of the Hook up jigsaw, absolutely brilliant idea having a cocktail bar and get rid of the eyesore of a exchange booth…looking forward to Fish and Chips looks great also….good luck Nick 👍
Oh mate, congrats on getting rid of the exchange booth.......no wonder you had that Cheshire cat grin, I would have too............................... enjoying watching your journey...................................................
Hi Nick just watched you eat fish and chips bloody starving now nothing like that here in udon thani be popping in to try the fish and chips mouths watering writing this and wash it it down with a beer from your bar going to be in pattaya on the 20th
As I said in the video it isn't back home but it's the closest you'll get to it this side of the world. It is something to look forward to on your next visit. 👍
Nick mate. I was waiting for you to review Sharples! Looks lovely and the chips look similar to the ones 2 doors down in The Ferret golf restaurant, big and sweet.... yummy! But where was the tartar sauce?? Oh, and check out the lambshank in The Ferret mate, it's huge and melts in your mouth and not expensive either! Cheers, Bill. 👍👍👍👍👍
No pickled onions or eggs. Your right about the potatoes maybe Sharpy could get a farmer to grow Marris pipers. I ate at his tree town shop fish was great but shop was to small and hard to get table this is way better. Glad you finally got the exchange.
Looks decent. Why can't anywhere abroad do chips properly?? Is this the best F&C in Pattaya? Are you using your keyring?? (I am the guy who gave you the Stoke keyring) See you in July :)
A subjective matter but for me undoubtedly the best chippy in Pattaya. In the UK cod and haddock are fresh and potatoes grow perfectly. The logistics make it impossible to get it the same. I use the keyring you'll see my keys are on it. 😃
Hello Nick, Looks very tasty. Fish looks light as you say. Wondered about the variety of potatoes available for the chips. Will have to check out Sharples when I return later in the year. Good prices at New Plaza. And very happy you bought the Exchange. When I stayed at Blackwood's, I eyeballed the Exchange and thought you needed to do something with that place. Great move!
I thought Australia was the only country that has rich gravy on chips🤔🇦🇺 in OZ they usually always put the vinegar on first, followed by chicken salt 😉😉🤘🤘
Nick, I'm a bit worry about you. Are you still enjoying yourself in Thailand? It seems like you have been working your ass off for the last 4 years. Running a YT channel, Remodeling two bars, running two bars, surviving through a pandemic, selling one of the bar, all the stuff with renting out your condo, dealing with your employees, and all the head aches of being an expat living on a retirement visa in Thailand. I am sure that I would not want to work as hard as you when it is my time to retire to South East Asia.
I'm okay with running several businesses I have a good team. Ps I'm not on retirement visa I work here and pay taxes so I have a working permit. All the best.
Throughout the past couple of years, your videos have convinced me that Pattaya is becoming more and more of a legitimate food destination. If my memory serves me correctly, I believe that there are several Michelin Star rated restaurants there. Also, that Route 66 restaurant from previous episodes looks awesome and like a lot of fun. You’ve convinced me that there are quite a number of excellent Indian cuisine restaurants with stellar curry dishes. The steak and hamburger restaurants look awesome as well.
I don't think there are any Michelin starred or rated restaurants in Pattaya for some reason they don't touch Pattaya. They need a rocket up their arses because there are some real gems here. For international cuisine I highly rate Pattaya and you can find high end at very reasonable prices.
Congrats Nick! Like I said, I think we should stop calling it Soi 7 and start calling it Soi Nick! Ha! P.S. Wish I could be there to celebrate June's birthday!

Very good Nick. What about all the poles there, can them be moved aswell?
No but I can grab another 12 inches on that side. I will do something around them because yesterday I noticed rubbish gathered there.

They definitely had haddock in the New Plaza shop.
Positioned nicely for the changes prescribed by the power that be. Hope to visit from Canada soon.
Great news, congratulations. How about a Coco/Glen cocktail! 😂.
I remember having their Fish n Chips when they were in Tree Town. It was delicious.
I will definitely check out their new location 👍🏻
This is much better than Tree Town 👍
