I was left in an almost catatonic state, looking glazed-eyed at the computer screen, mouth dropping open in a "WTF, is this real?" motion. Emotions ranging from desperation, to anger, to despondency, back to anger, then to violent action thoughts, then wonder, followed by despair and more anger. This is not parody, this is a direct copy, from the future, of the Daily Heil channel news on YT. I've seen these two people before. Management groups already run a dozen or more GP surgeries at a time, turning it into a franchise operation. GPs meanwhile, seem to be hoping for occupational health gigs (writing a report into why an employee shouldn’t get early retirement is the main staple there, with or without direct examination of said employee). Not a problem? They are after all businessmen/women, self-employed and not employed as staff by the NHS. The problem is, the GP you have, that you may ask for a rebuttal report if you re the employee in question, will not tell you they have a side-gig as an Occupational Health specialist. You are worth one lousy report for £250, probably in your lifetime. A gig as an OH specialist kicking lazy employees’ applications for early retirement to touch, might run into dozens of reports a year, at much better rates. What your GP does for the half-week he or she is not at your surgery, does concern you, believe me. Take care all.

In the last 10 years, the NHS has gone from pretty much world beating (and 10 years ago the rot had already set in, this deliberate action has been ongoing since at least the days of MrTonyBlair) to one of the worst in Europe.
