It's pretty depressing, not to mention worrying, when our commedians like Broken News and Jonathan Pie, deliver more accurate news than our journalists. You have to laugh, otherwise you'd cry.
Ah Laura - yes. She certainly does enjoy hobnobbing with and looking good for the rich and influential ( "a bit more blush and eyeliner there sweetie") before she gets going with her deep and penetrating questions for the rich and influential members of the Conservative party, who wouldn't be there without knowing in advance that they were going to be softballed.
"And now over to our reporter embedded with the IDF, at a children's hospital packed with terrorist equipment including baby bottles and broken incubators"
A bit harsh, lads. At least we can always rely on earnest journos like Nick Robinson to give us the unbiased facts, despite him having been president of both Oxford Uni's Conservative Association and the Conservative Party Youth Group, being a founder member of Macclesfield young Conservatives, the Cheshire Young Conservatives chair, and chair of National Young Conservatives.
I'm absolutely flabbergasted that you're going after these amazing journalists. They deserve better. I just received that message from an unknown top journalist from the Mail. I believe him, or her.
Spot on! That was just superb. We need people like you two shining a light on what’s been going on in this country and why it has been allowed to continue for so long. Thank you 👏👏
If the clotted cream was kept in a freezer for 24hrs it would become quite useful - something our government ministers / client journalists should bear in mind should they wish to improve their own performance.
What a brilliant comment on Tory-boy client journalism. They have trashed the concept of accurate, unbiased journalism and traduced its standing in a democratic society. As a retired trade press editor - and state educated - I regret what has happened to our so-called free press. And don’t get me started on the damage that Murdoch and Dacre have done between them.
Just waiting for a tory to start claiming these two are also client journalists but just shilling for the Labour party! Excellent work though guys, keep it up, there's a dearth of political satire lately but boty you and Pie are doing a great job of plugging that gap.
....as long as we all understand that Starmer's Labour are also heavily involved with the same client journalists. MPs who played a key role in anonymously briefing the oh so obliging media during the Corbyn years. As long as we understand that.
Aw, man, we've got nothing like this satire in Canada. Oh... maybe it's 'cause we have _no_ client journalists whatsoever. That could possibly be because they _are_ part of the political class. No need to be a client when you're already in the mix! 😉
Idea for a setting that you could use repeatedly - PMQs - it would take some work to build a background of mp’s in the commons - you could do this electronically by replicating a single mp figure or a few mp figures - they could even move or shout here here or sonething or you could use real televised scenes of the commons. Or you could do lobby conversations or in the MP’s tea toom. Im trying to think of a setting as good as your daily covid breifings, which was brilliant. Broken News is good but a bit silly sometimes and relies too much on schoolboy profanities which arent really funny to me. You guys can fo excellent political satire. Have you tried doing the PM’s lectern in the street outside number 10 (though the current incumbent doesnt make announcements that way much). How about inside Rishi’s jet plane? Or insde Rishi’s office in downing street - these would work well. Good luck.
☝️🤣👍Any state, any entity, any ideology which fails to recognize the worth, the dignity, the rights of Man...that state is obsolete. *For now, TH-cam still allows me to post this text, so that's what I'm going to post. Censorship is getting worse and worse
All true. Unfortunately, those of us watching you lovely guys, we all know that, so how can we get those that don't to watch you? Some Right Wing click bait in your titles perhaps?
Chaps, your so called, lovely story. By jingo, it quite put me off my afternoon tea scone with lashings of clotted cream. And my morning peruse through the Daily Maligner Cat Litter Tray Liner , before elevenses.. Word of advice. Please refrain from telling unashamedly blantant lies & saying rude words in public (just do it in private). Then maybe, just maybe, you will get a job with one of the more reputable media outlets. Expect a sharply worded letter to drop through your letter box, its just not cricket.😏🤣
The reason I make suggestions on what you might do is because I see that you are actually deeply moral people on the right side of life. I applaud what you are trying to do and hope you become successful. If you sell out along the way I will be very disappointed. I cant afford to make a contribution - everyone in the world is asking for a contribution - climate change, palestinian campaigns, real socialist campaigns, falsely-imprisoned people, animal protection, greenpeace - how do we choose what is most important to support? Hey, if you are up for a real challenge, try making some material standing in some bombed site in Gaza. Tragedy IS a source for comedy - Blackadder did tragedy (in ww1). Again, just an idea - how brave are you?

Trouble is, its not satire, its truth.
It's pretty depressing, not to mention worrying, when our commedians like Broken News and Jonathan Pie, deliver more accurate news than our journalists.
You have to laugh, otherwise you'd cry.
+ Matt Green and John Goodenough 🥳
Love to the family ❤
+ Supertanskill.
@@Ayeright. Good stuff 🥳
'Finger-blasted'. We don't hear that term enough in the MSM. Shame
"That's quite a charge" - Laura Kuenssberg (probably)

*Laura Kuntsberg.
"And now over to our reporter embedded with the IDF, at a children's hospital packed with terrorist equipment including baby bottles and broken incubators"
Sorry i have been confused about that for the past 30 years... Is an incubator one of those weapons of mass destruction?
@@CA999Apparently.
That "Daddy, thank you" made me spit out my tea.
😂😂
Well, he *is* a dirty little news pig... 😉 😁
I had to rewind it, at the time, to make sure I'd heard it correctly...... at the time
That final message was concise yet poignant. Well done!
Clearly Daddy is paid by 'at the time' per minute.
This should be satire, but I wouldn't be surprised if this were a real story these days. 🤦♂️
it really is. lots of them go to the parties etc. plus if they dont like you they often wont do interviews. its a mess
It is a real story
All too true. Well done lads.
A bit harsh, lads. ah yes a truly independent journalist. i mean we need the odd lone voice to speak up for the rich and powerful dont we? :P
As someone who lives not to far away from Macca, as we call it. That makes me quite sick.👍
And recently on Feedback on Radio 4 reassuring us that "you don't come to the BBC for opinions". 🤔
Now thats the journalism we need, more of that sort of thing and the english may be awken from their slumber.
I'm absolutely flabbergasted that you're going after these amazing journalists. They deserve better. I just received that message from an unknown top journalist from the Mail. I believe him, or her.
You guys are on it. Good job!
Excellent as always. Thanks Daddy.
Once again brilliant guys. Keep up the good work .
Devastatingly accurate as usual, chaps. Jolly good, well done, carry on.
The daily mail have made a stern reply saying we have the best reporters central office can afford.
Wish Larry and Paul anchored for bbc news. 😊
Laura K. Or Laura K. Laura K. also comes to mind.
"Daddy thank you" i'm in stiches!!!
Fleet street looking really busy.
Also, that pret has closed.
Especially the BBC!
Spot on! That was just superb. We need people like you two shining a light on what’s been going on in this country and why it has been allowed to continue for so long. Thank you 👏👏
Imagine drinking with Rishi Sunak and not _at least_ making the effort to surreptitiously sneak industrial strength laxatives into his drink.
Are we living through a period of collective madness where the clowns are telling the audience exactly what the phugg is going on.?
Love it. Telling it how it really is.
What a lovely story
Nice work chaps.
Lovely Story!
Lol wonderful stuff 😂😂😂
If the clotted cream was kept in a freezer for 24hrs it would become quite useful - something our government ministers / client journalists should bear in mind should they wish to improve their own performance.
Johnson already tried hiding in a fridge. It definitely didn't make him more useful.
This is sad because it’s dammed true with the exception of The Byline Times

"Finger-blasted" - brilliant term.
LMAO- so on the money.
Spot on
Thanks for the lovely news, Larry and Paul. I will now go back into entertainment content for the TH-cam community now
What a lovely story.
Accurate reporting on the Smellagraph, Daily Fail and The Shun...
Thanks for such heartwarmingly lovely news, Daddy and Horatio!
Feeling that my expectations barely need lowering nowadays :)
AT THE TIME! 😂
That was a lovely story.
Go go go lads❤
Thanks for reporting this, see you at the caviar tasting party tonight.
Brilliant !
Best yet 👏 as so many of the comments already point out, sadly so very true 😢
Giggle giggle, much giggling was had.
... its a steady job, but he wants to be a paperback writer. Thanks Daddy.
News Pigs deliver. Lovely stuff.
There's no going back once you've done gak in the bog with Govey.
Ask the Tory front bench.
It now explains an awful lot.
Lovely story though.
Brilliant as ever, thanks 😂😂
Go on lads.
I'm so glad you do "Your fu*king job", so there's no need for you to"F*ck off!" Keep up the good work lads ❤
Finger blasted 😅 This is probably your best one, at the time 😁
I wish clarke and dawe were still around and in Britain

Inside Rishi's car without a seatbelt would be a winner.
