- April 20, 2024 - Appalachian Trail Adventure 2024 Day 12. Hit 100 trail miles for this trip! Had a beautiful day walking along pastures and meeting hikers. Hiked from backpacker campground to US Route 11. Started at mile 1124.2 and hiked to mile 1132.6 total of 8.4 miles for the day plus road walk of 0.4 to hotel.

Congrats on the 100 miles! For those of us watching for tips as opposed to scenery, seeing the kind of things you purchased at Sheetz would have been interesting. It’s one of my regular gas stops, but I don’t think of it as a food restock place. What did you buy?
Thank you!! I didn’t need a full resupply when at Sheetz. I think that would be hard. I just need to fill in. If I remember correctly I got several kinds of protein bars,Kind bars, pastries for breakfast, chips and cheese sticks.
