Us warlocks have no high damage set ups like this. Nova bomb is a super so it doesn't really count. Out melees are the worst in the game and we look like librarians. Please fix

-Fixed an issue in which the exotic arms piece Liar's handshake was incorrectly assigned to the hunter class, this has now been resolved and hunters no longer can equip it, instead it's a titan exotic now

Winters guile is a lot more effective than you give it credit for. I tested this, and a winters guile melee at x5 when buffed by one two punch does 28,000 to Greg. You’ve also got a ~6 second window to get multiple hits in. Titans are the losers here

Aztrecross is right that using the tribute hall doesn't work for correct damage values. Ehroar went over in his video why "Greg" is still the best for it. Also Old skull you could basically solo the boss. You just nova bombing everything get it back to back.

Still works great btw if your in the future. Currently in 1/23/21 I’m able to solo strikes and nightfall bosses within a 10 second period. Needless to say, if you’re a hunter, then you absolutely NEED to try out this build.

"Titans identities are based on our melee damage," I've been saying the same thing about Hunters and speed, but a Titan will still beat a Hunter in an all out sprint thanks to their jump. THE ROLES HAVE BEEN REVERSED.

Titans' identity is around brute force. Hunters' identity is around technique. Who said a hunter martial artist can't be roughly as strong (more total damage, less in one hit as we see here) as a titan in melee?

The key element is the shotgun with one-two punch on it. There's so far only 2 in the game. One that drops in Gambit Prime and one from the Crown of Sorrows raid. Its just RNG holding people back from greatness.
Saucymeme Boi, it's definitely not brand new. It's been around since last season. It's just being utilized now all of the sudden lol. I have the means to do both myself and have gotten more last man standing shotguns than I want with one two punch on them. I would much rather have a good spare rations. The only thing I want to do is use it on riven to say I did it, otherwise ehh. Not interested really.

This is the kind of builds that this game needs though. Is it strong ? Yes. Should it be nerfed though ? No I don’t think so, I personally think we need more builds like this. You’re essentially combining 2 exotics & an ability to pull off this insane damage.
This ^ it takes work and setup and sacrificing other exotics and builds. Lots of work for lots of reward, it’s not a thoughtless win button.
Keep in mind Invaders can kill yo ass + even with 20 seconds you will run out quick. Trust me I ve been there multiple times..So I wouldn't call it OP cuz it takes a lot to set up
@@happiness7808 no it really doesn't take a lot of set up. Three melee kills in 20 seconds is easy. If you genuinely think this is difficult set up, then I cant imagine how hard that makes burning fists then. For much much less pay off.
In a perfect world I might be inclined to agree, but do you really think bungie is going to buff other things to work on the level that this build is? Even if they did you run into power creep.
This build either needs to be significantly harder to activate or it needs its damage reduced.

If i remember correctly the Tribute hall scales the enemies to your level rather than Greg who is underleveled and scales your power for max damage. So Greg actually has more consistent numbers for testing.

Warlocks can have this too if they buff/rework Winter's Guile.
My suggestions
1. When you have full melee energy, melee hits make your target take increased damage (5% increase) from all sources for the next 5 seconds
2. While having full melee energy and killing an enemy with a melee, your sword impact damage for the next 15 seconds is increased
3. When you have full melee energy, your melee attack freeze enemies in place for 5 seconds
These are 3 off of the top of my head

D1 subclass skill tree layout
Imagine being on your favorite subclass and being able to pick your favorite skills!!?? Omg thats what is missing in D2. For example instead of being locked into a skill tree you can mix and match all the perks and pick your favorite melee skill, super, grenade skill etc etc. Omg that was so fun in D1 and it can make any subclass viable. It also gives you a way to structure your builds for pve focused activities and pvp activities. Its really is something that would have so much impact in fun factor for D2.
Sitting in the back eating popcorn like, “Hot damn!” I watched that a few times I was laughing pretty hard.
This hunter loadout helped me get to dredgen and reset my infamy three times this season. Its honestly amazing

the way ur supposed to do it is punch (proc cross counter), shoot shotgun, then hit with cross counter
its makes the one two punch more reliable
This is my build as a hoppidy hop hunter! So, this build was actually bugged so that it stacked with Pole Dancer too for a bit. Bungo had to fix. Do all this and pop arc strider and the buffs wouldn't go away xD haha, good times.
Anyway, this also works with bottom tree but for a different use aside from dps. With both you don't want much recovery and spec into resiliance. Disorientating blow works even when the melee isn't charged and disorientates everything around it. Acts like a weaker tether. But, you want pump action or even better yet Hands On on your helmet
The other day I was testing stuff on my well of radiance and realized, it doesn't buff meele, so, it can make the shotty hit harder, or keep you alive a little bit more (liars already do that), but not to make meele hit harder.
On the other hand, I think the gambit shotty is better, since is void, hits harder, can roll with full chocke and treat detector. tho, considering how low drop rates are you are way better finding a group and doing the 3 times to get the curated roll shotty.
I wonder if like you said “bungie has blessed hunters with the most powerful dps build” is because they don’t have anything to auto reload like barricade or rifts?? Interesting. Great video as usual
