I've created two framer templates, one was actually featured in framer's market place but I had no luck selling any. I think I should try to advertise it on twitter like you said. Thanks for the helpful tips!
I have some questions to you. 1.Is it essential to learn figma before framer? 2.Is it essential to learn HTML CSS before framer? 3.What is the prerequisite for learning framer? 4.Is learning figma helps to framer? Please answer these questions I am new to this field.
@@1nonlykingnaeem Figma is not essential for framer but for some it can make the design iteration much quicker. You don't need fully understand HTML & CSS but I do recommended getting familiar with them along with understanding how a website should be structured.
@@1nonlykingnaeemGREAT QUESTIONS; I’ve got your answers for ya. 😉 1. NO, you do not need to learn Figma first. Figma is great for prototyping and I used to use Figma myself to build out website prototypes, but that became a problem when my clients had to download Figma and create a user just to see the prototype. This was always a bad experience because these people don’t know how to use Figma and they don’t want to go through the process of creating an entire account just to see the work that I did. I now do all my prototypes in framer, because framer gives me a free URL to send it to my client. Not only does this make for a much better prototype experience, but if the customer decides to go with my website, all I have to do is go live with it. I no longer have to rebuild the entire thing on a completely different platform. The short answer is “no, you don’t have to learn Figma.” 2. NO, Framer does all the HTML and CSS properties for you. 3. There are no prerequisites. It helps to understand basic design principles, but besides that framer is its own thing, and you do not need to know anything before learning framer. 4. NO, just jump in and start learning. 😎👍 LAST TIP: there is a framer community on the internet as well as on Discord. These are great places to get free help and to ask questions. I started to learn Framer by watching TH-cam videos, but once I really had the hang of things I needed a place to go to ask deeper questions and these communities are where I find all the answers. GOOD LUCK!
Clicked on the video to learn, then when looking at your templates I realized I already bought your conversion template a couple of month ago :D Great value, thank you!
hey, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! I cannot describe how valuable it is to me! Btw, is the notion template is available? I don't see it on your website
First time watching one of your videos... subscribed! I'm curious if you've tried creating and selling templates for other platforms like Webflow, Wix, WordPress or Squarespace?
Hey buddy, really loving your genuine content. Im a Notion nube and have downloaded your file but cant seem to find the Framer requirements checklist. Halp ;)
You don't need to have an extensive knowledge, but it is helpful to understand basic design principles and the reasons behind good customer-focused design.
Hey Hamza.. great video, thanks for sharing it. I couldn't find the link to the Template Launch checklist, is it there hidden somehow? Could you share it? Thanks!
Do we need to create text styles in Framer templates, or can our templates be approved without them? For example, if I create a template without predefined text styles, and users manually adjust the font by going to the style tab, will that still be acceptable for approval?
Why did you choose Framer over Webflow? I'm having difficulty trying to decide between the two. I just wanna focus on one platform. Would appreciate your reasons for choosing Framer bro
I was one of the first Webflow users when it was released in alpha 1.0. To be honest I hated the UI/UX and shelved it for a year. Returned one later to a much improved UI/UX, things that you dream about were implemented. I used Webflow from 2014 to present. Since 2023, I’ve moved to using Framer as it means less messing around with div blocks, flexbox etc. Framer is a breathe of fresh air in terms of usability. Whereas, Webflow brings in the big money from some incredible clients from small businesses to world renowned VC investors. My urge is currently with Framer, Webflow is my backup when I’m requested for bigger jobs $$$$$.

It isn't essential to learn Figma, HTML or CSS before Framer as Framer is largely a no-code tool, but having knowledge in those platforms/languages can definitely be beneficial.

Hi, thkx for your video !

I curiously it too
It depends what your template will consist of, for example if you’re looking to utilise the Framer CMS, you’ll need to purchase a plan.
@@hxmzaehsan
I'll upgrade to a pro plan soon.
I can create unlimited number of templates with the free plan, right?

do we need to duplicate the template and transfer ownership to the buyer? Or does the 'remix link' make it so you don't need to do this?
Thank you :)
When the customer clicks the remix link, it gets duplicated into their Framer account, so nothing else for you to do 💪

Where should I learn Framer?
Framer Academy is a great place to start - www.framer.com/academy
Great video! 🚀
Are you attaching your affiliate link to the remix URL on the Framer site as well, or does it not matter there?
Thanks! Yeah so your affiliate tag needs to be attached to every version of your remix URL.
Thank you for the video. Can I make money also from free framer templates/free remix components by combining the partners affiliate link that you mentioned in the remix button?
Definitely! A lot of designers have libraries where they're sharing free remixes and other resources.
Thanks for sharing❤❤
