This is wealth of knowledge! Thank you for sharing the collection and knowledge with us. Maybe it would be interesting to see side by side McCoy and original comparison
Beautiful collection of hide Jawn! Buco back in 1998 collaborated with Capcom to promote the video game Resident Evil 2 (BIOHAZARD 2 in Japan) by making a very limited edition skull biker leather jacket that the male hero Leon wore in the game. Only 40 of them were ever made so it may be practically impossible to find one in the wild.
I love the flannel lining in those! I’ve already modded my modern jacket a bit (had belt fixtures changed to snaps in order to be able to remove them- not to scratch my bike tank) and that’s my next mod. Flannel
How much is your entire Buco collection worth or can you break down the price of each jacket I'm curious but I love the video thank you for owning them and taking care of them
Really love your jackets! I just started getting into jackets myself and have 3 Schott s, 2 of which are shinki leather and one buffalo hide. Picked up a grizzly jacket from Y2 leathers and have an order for another Y2 jacket NH-55 in saddle. I would love to get my hands on a vintage Buco, but have no clue on where to look. Can you recommend a site or place (I live in NY) for vintage jackets?
@@ibbjos08 For my money the Durable is best m/c jacket of all time. The horsehide on most Bucos is really nice but some aren’t. I have 4 horsehide Durables and the leather is always top notch. Other collector friends of mine concur. As far as the cut, Bucos fit really nice, look great and are comfortable but Durable fits even nicer and is even more comfortable. The only thing that Buco has over Durable are designs. The Durable is the “Perfecto” style, they don’t have any D-pockets or any other cool designs. The Buco J-24 and J-82 are such cool designs and Durable doesn’t have that.

Are there any of these styles jackets in brown or any other colors besides black??
@@markcesena4670 They did make them in brown but I’ve seen only one brown one my whole life, they are extremely rare
The J-82 and the mint J-24L are my fave.
How do you compare Buco to Durable?

@LeatherJacketJawn, thanks, bro! Love your videos- between you and Terry Mitchell there is a books worth of knowledge and jackets.
Seriously, how many leather jackets does one person actually need? Idk but where I come from, this is tantamount to hoarding.
