I've got a few acrylic inks, I've not cracked open any of my Artful box ones yet but I've been using some Daley Rowney perlescent acrylic inks in my colouring books for bling and highlights, they work really well.

He'll go lovely in your Teal kitchen. I've never painted with ink, have only done writing or outlines/architectural drawings with ink. I like mosaics and stained glass so I'm a bit bad for wanting to outline everything in black. I think you've done Jaime proud with this and I'm sure this is what he hoped someone would achieve with this box. Well done 👏

I love him! I have 2 roosters Hank Snow and Frank Sinatra. Both named for famous singers of course! Not quite as colorful as yours. Hank is white with black speckles and Frank is bright blond with the odd colorful feather here and there! Thanks Gem!

He is a beauty, Gem! :) I haven't used any type of inks to paint and... seeing my growing collection of art supplies... I'm not sure I want to invest in inks anytime soon. I've actually found my main art love in watercolours, so I've been busy with that, haha :) actually decided to invest in a custom palette of the Winsor & Newton professional watercolours, painted with them twice and I already ordered two replacement colours, because I found I didn't do enough research before I ordered the paints. Well, got a lot to learn still. Anyway, stay safe and have a wonderful day!
sadly i dont have the artwork anymore my school wouldn't let me collect it, years ago now. i done a piece with inks to paint my guitar which was a deep purple/indigo geo Ibanez, if i remember right it was fairly easy to use inks and i fairly enjoyed it

I did some really cool pieces in school and over one summer they just threw everything out that was still in our art classroom because a teacher retired and they got a new one... I'm still pissed that they didn't let us collect the art and just threw everything out. It was an advanced class too and some really cool things got lost. It's been like 13 years and I'm still bitter lol

That is indeed random, but thank you. I have what I call 'diluted' Italian eyes - my father is Italian with very dark brown eyes, and my mother is Scottish with bright blue eyes - I've been left with something that's not quite hazel and not quite green! 😊

He works in a hospital, front line worker, just like my husband they both have Covid-19 shots (it was a safe visit) I got blasted for saying I celebrated my birthday earlier. If 3 people and 2 dogs is a celebration 🍾 hang me and beat like a piñata 🪅 maybe candy 🍬 will come out? NOT!!! Love this guy! Looks like he's the cock of the walk 😂 There's two roosters that live near my mother in law who spend all day shouting at each other. We've decided they're in love and won't stop until they're together- makes it more bearable! I love using acrylic inks, I've used them for painting wood, stones, murals and shoes too. I'm not sure how long they'll last on the shoes though. I have a white one which I use for highlights in a lot of work. I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with these, and you've a good selection of colours too 👍

Is that totally freehand or do you have a picture of a rooster just out of shot, or have you drawn roosters so often, you know what they look like? Yes, I'm just starting to learn about drawing :-)
Great question! It is freehand, but I used to own chickens (and by proxy, a rooster) so am quite confident drawing this particular animal.
