I'm building one just now. started on the 27th december doing about 5 hours a day building and no where near finished still have all the body to build... I am in no way a slow builder it just has over 4000 parts to get through
Wow how far along are you? What colors are you going with. This is a build like no other. I'm trying to start mine by this weekend. All my electronics should be in by then. Also trying to make a dedicated work area just for the XX10. Let me know if you want to discuss the build.
@@allscalerc I'm doing a black and grey paint scheme. Will look similar to the box art. I have built up to the rear guns. Then had to stop. As the hydraulic tubes they give you are horrible to fit on so I ordered silicone tubing. Also as it was imported via airfreight I didn't get shock oil or hydraulic oil waiting for that to be delivered
@@highlandrc9036 Same here as far as the oils. I haven't even looked to see what weights are required. My servos arrived yesterday and my ESCs should arrive later this week.
I'm thinking about doing a blueish grey and black, but I haven't decided yet. Thanks for letting me know about the silicone, I do have some laying around. I'm really looking forward to getting started.
Remeber you need steering servo reverse unit. you need the rear servo to turn opposite to front for correct steering. if not the truck will crab steer @@allscalerc

Very Awesome! What ESCs are you going with? Also, what two steering servos and motor shift servo will you be using? Sorry for the questions...will you install a servo to lift the front rake thing?
For the ESCs, I ordered quicrun wp 1080 G2s. Steering servos yipinservo r80 80kg. I'm not sure about the shift servo yet. I do want to lift the rake, but I will figure that out as I go.
20kg servo for shift. it's a heavy gearbox @@allscalerc
