Yuji really is that guy. I think you are underestimating him. He would absolutely mop the disaster curses. Keep in mind he basically has the physical strength/gifts of someone with heavenly restriction like maki/toji (as he was breaking olympic records before he was a sorcerer) AND he has curse energy and at least 1 curse technique... I say at least 1 because i suspect he is a vessel for Choso's other siblings so I wouldnt be surprised if he could use their techniques. Not to mention how fast he learns and adapts. He really got it
The only reason I hesitate on the disaster curses is domain. Yuji is mopping Hanami and he might just beat Choso and Dagon before that can open domain.
