I love Natasha Denona, but with that being said, I could still understand some of your points and I like that you did this video. Thank you for giving us your perspective!
I agree! I used to love ND eyeshadows but once I tried a Ysl quad, I learned that luxury formulas can do so much more. The I need a nude disappointed me immensely. I thought the mattes felt dry and the shimmers either made my eyelids look textured and they flaked on me plus irritated my eyes, which has never happened before. It's the first palette I've ever returned. I really want to try more luxury eyeshadows
The strong scent of products from YSL, Lancome, etc can turn off a lot of people with floral allergies. ND is one of my favorite formulas, ND cream to powder formula is amazing too!
Am I’m missing something here as this palette looks so redundant ? Something like the new Byredo is innovative with a cool color story. Yet this from ND doesn’t offer much that we already have 💯times over.
I have two ND palettes INAN and GLAM. I don’t know what it is about them but I rarely use them. I much prefer that smoother understated shimmer/metallic found in more higher end products. I recently bought one of the Burberry quads and I can’t get enough of it. I know I won’t buy the golden palette as it will just sit with the other two unused.
I will def buy Golden Pallete❤i used to have Gold but I finished it up and as far as I know it is now discontinued, so I want to have this Golden pallete
Lol! I just literally gave away my Natasha Denona palettes. They are just ok, and I have so many much more interesting shadows from other brands. They just never wowed me, I figured that out pretty quickly.
I have the I need a nude palette and hardly use it. It's interesting that I have the cool-toned Flower Knows palette. I was scared to order it because I have a deeper skin tone. I love it! It's very pigmented and so easy to blend. I use that more. I don't think I love her new formula, I have been buying single shadows and trying out Asian brands lately. Also indie brands. I am not getting this golden palette.
I think ND eyeshadows have evolved over time in a way that is more standard. I have never liked them (the only exception is the OG gold palette and only some shades), but I think they lost their uniqueness (high pigmentation, richness) over time
I have the INAN palette and I like it, but the undertones of the Gold Palette (and future Golden midi) suit me much better because I have a warm olive undertone. I love the Gold palette! But because I already have the Gold palette, I won’t need the Golden midi at least until my Gold stops performing. But if I didn’t have the Gold, I’d jump at the Golden-for a neutral palette that suited my undertones!
I just don't see how ND can get away with reproducing repeats and nobody comes after her and Pat Mcgrath gets so many negative comments. Not that I favour PMG nor ND. But I feel that the original Gold palette was much better and now the golden is too golden for me plus I am happy to have loads of Golden options from Pat already. I too got sucked in the hype of Yucca palette and it's just sitting there in my vanity. I'm glad to have not bought INAN for once . The shimmers make my oily lids look bad and that's the same reason I haven't got any Indie palette yet... however thanks to you I have tried Suqqu formula and gave into Byredo mineralscapes far better and beautiful formula.
I’m glad that helped! You know, Suqqu is not for everyone. It truly depends on your taste. But it seems we’re on the same page! Thanks a lot for your comment! 🥰
I love ND palettes but I have to agree with some of what you said here. The larger palettes gave a lot of product and high pigmented quality shadows. The smaller palettes the shimmer aren’t good and the quality isn’t the same. The matte eye shadows in the smaller palettes are good and easy to blend. My biggest pet peeves are some brands including ND being redundant. It seems if we look through our own makeup we already have these same shades or another palette almost the same so for me this is a pass because I already have tons of gold and brown eye shadow palettes. I do like the smaller palettes because of the price point but ND needs to improve the shimmer shadows definitely could use an upgrade there.
The ND formula tends to irritate my eyes which are sensitive so I tend not to reach for the palettes I own. I do think she's very smart with her colour stories of late. A little bit of something for everyone so it's appealing for a wide range of preferences. To me this is a neutral colour story that's warm leaning with a touch of cool.
I have the same problem with Lila. But it’s more the ingredients since I get eye irritations also with the red shades by Pat McGrath. In my case, I think I’m allergic to carmine. Great summary for the Golden palette, I agree with you!
I still use the I need a nude. It’s ok. I know some people didn’t like the shimmers they liked the more foiled ones she had in the past but for my mature eyes I can make the INAN palette work. I don’t care for the rosy undertones that much though. Natasha is a funny one with her constant leaks that aren’t supposed to be leaks. We’re on to you Natasha. As far as this new one? I need to see tons of swatches. Yellow golds look horrendous on me.
I actually never had a ND palette. I swatched some at Sephora. They are OK imo, I was just never interested in them enough to buy smth. Are Flower Knows baked shadows?
I have INAN amongst many other midis and i like it, dont love it. Far too much repetition.. i keep telling myself to take all my midis apart, pull the shades i love and make a "perfect" midi but no time to do it lol the new golden looks pretty but i already have gold.. idk if ill purchase it.. i recently found ur channel and watched ur flower knows vid and u def sold me to try them! I have strawberry rococo (black one with cool tones) amd black swan coming! Never tried them before and im super excited! ❤❤
Every ND palette I’ve bought has been a waste of money. I’ve only bought Glam, I need a nude, mini star and camel palettes. The looks never turn out like you want them to and everything ends up looking muddy on the eyes. The metallics look horrible and the powders fade and look patchy after a few hours. Unfortunately where I live you cannot return makeup once used, so I won’t be getting anything ND EVER no matter what she brings out.
Same!! I get intrigued by the color stories, but I ended up regretting my purchase. We cannot return makeup here as well. So we should be very conscious about our choices in the first place. 😘
Her older stuff just doesn't compare to the newer formulas imo..what I hate is the midis seem to be very monochromatic..which may be fine if have all of them to mix and match but not everyone can afford that luxury! 😂❤
I want this pallette so bad cause it's so pretty and I'm into Korean style makeup but I do have a few pallette with similar colour to the I Need A Nude. It's expensive so I have to think carefully before purchase it. Then I saw someone comment that makeup product should make you look pretty, not just because the product itself looks pretty. This is a lovely pallette, but I'm sure my other pallettes can give me similar looks to that, and I'm not a beauty TH-camr so I don't have to own every eyeshadow pallette. I have 2 single eyeshadows from Natasha Denona but their shimmer fall out a lot, and I found the Colourpop Supershock shimmer is shinier and stick to my eyes much better so I'm not quite happy with the quality.
I like Colourpop Supershock formula much more! Stick with what you have! She’s constantly releasing new color stories so you may want to pick something more unique in your collection 😘
I’ve been long contemplating the ND eyeshadows but never bought anything except for a Vinted mini zendo I never want to use. Always go for my other shadows instead (mostly Suqqu and Lunasol) So your opinion sort of settles the matter for me :)
Knowing your preference (that are pretty much aligned to mine) I would recommend to skip these and take the color stories as inspiration to build your BoB version within your collection 😘❤️
Yay! I love doing that 🥰 And thinking about it, there is an edited version of the new ND golden palette in the 03 signature Suqqu Hikarigure (which I love by the way- and have hit pan on the crease shade!). Sometimes less is more and duplicates of shades you love just create mental clutter.
Always nice to find someone else who thinks ND is not the ultimate. We should form a club 😂 I prefer a lot of other brands of different price ranges that I find easier to use or just like the quality or colour stories more. She fills her midi palettes with extremely samey shades and they can usually be cut down to 9 pans wo losing anything. So you pay for 15 shades but you'll get 1 or 2 different looks from it. Waste of space to me as I very much dislike her metal packaging. I do own some of her old larger palettes in the leather packaging and I actually think I like her older formulas better
I have a different experience, the palettes I shown in my video as bout Flower Knows are good. But I can imagine they are not consistent as it offer happen with cheap brands: hit or miss 😘
what is hour favorite eyeshadow brand, texture, etc.. i am very surprise by your evaluation of ND brand, for me they are the best, but i have not tried more expensive brands so…. i need a nude is one of my favorites with ma glam palette 🇨🇦
I loveeee Natasha Denona. THE best in my opinion
I love Natasha Denona, but with that being said, I could still understand some of your points and I like that you did this video. Thank you for giving us your perspective!
Oh thank you so much for your comment! 😘🥰

That YSL quad is one of the best formula in the market! If you like that formula, you may want to look into Suqqu 😘
The strong scent of products from YSL, Lancome, etc can turn off a lot of people with floral allergies. ND is one of my favorite formulas, ND cream to powder formula is amazing too!
The YSL quads are fragrance free…
Merci pour le partage 😊
I love the ND formula as well as warm tones, so this one is going on the wishlist despite 9 or 10 repeat shades from previous releases.
Then it’s a good pick for you! 😘🤗
9 or 10 repeats😅 I really dislike when she has similar shades in one palette too

I’m missing something here as this palette looks so redundant ?
Something like the new Byredo is innovative with a cool color story. Yet this from ND doesn’t offer much that we already have 💯times over.
I think thr Byredo could be condensed too or it could be better curated. But I agree with you!!! This palette by ND looks very ordinary
I have two ND palettes INAN and GLAM. I don’t know what it is about them but I rarely use them. I much prefer that smoother understated shimmer/metallic found in more higher end products. Wow, if you finished it up then the Golden palette is the perfect fit for you! 😘🤗
Just a side note: I do not have a lot of eyeshadows but use them daily😊 and I have now GreenBrown 28 and Biba, love both, use them a lot
Good join using up the Gold palette! I intend to do the same
Lol! I just literally gave away my Natasha Denona palettes. They are just ok, and I have so many much more interesting shadows from other brands. They just never wowed me, I figured that out pretty quickly.
They’re not for everyone. Or maybe they are and we’re unicorns 🦄 🤣

Very intrigued by Flower Nose, may be my next purchase.
My dogs name is Bob...😂 ❤ (stands for big ole baby) glad the tubes recommended ur channel! Def. Subbing!!

Yeah, I didn’t use the right part of my ND Gold palette, and those are exactly the shades in the new Golden palette. So it’s not for me 😉
I actually never had a ND palette. I swatched some at Sephora. They are OK imo, I was just never interested in them enough to buy smth. Are Flower Knows baked shadows?
No they aren’t. They’re standard powders but very smooth. The shimmer shades are those waxy gelée textures we’re seeing from Chinese brands

The Gold Pallette looks similar to Sigma's Ambiance pallette.
I want this pallette so bad cause it's so pretty and I'm into Korean style makeup but I do have a few pallette with similar colour to the I Need A Nude.

This is so true! I don’t have that palette, but I see the analogy

flower knows shadows are such trash quality, powdery, lacks pigments, and shimmers constantly develop hard pan

She only put boring shades from the Gold palette😅
