I wish she would've done that too.😢 This one's boring and all the colors are ethe same depth except Log. I still have my OG Gold Palette from the first release of it and I don't care. Still use it. It's powders so they're still fine and still perform like the first day I got it! You're gonna have to bury me with that palette!🤣🤣🤣

I was really excited about the Golden palette when I saw it online but in person it feels a little…flat? It doesn’t seem to have anywhere near as much texture and variety as the “I Need a Nude”. The shimmers are golden, for sure, but so many of them are of the yellow gold/brassy/bronzey variety and I just hoped for more nuance. There also seems to be more peachy/orange leaning mattes than I’d realised there’d be so overall I’ve gone from chomping at the bit to get this to it really not being for me. I’m happy to save $69 though!
I’m a neutral lover, so I truly live in her Glam palette and I Need a Nude. I also love gold tones but I do not have the gold palette-everyone on uoutube compares the gold with this new golden but they don’t seem to grasp that even if the gold is better it doesn’t matter because it’s no longer available!! If you missed out you missed out! I missed out so yes I was all over this palette! Waiting for my shipment now and can hardly wait

Wow you got this so quick! Amazing review and I have to say ppl give PMG a lot of flack for repeat colour stories but ND straight up reusing shades. I have the OG gold and it’s my fave palette of hers, the sparkly toppers and shimmers plus buttery mattes can’t be beat. I feel that ND is coming up with all these new shimmer or sparkle shades that just don’t compare to her OG formulas. And the Yucca palette looks more like a Midi Gold palette than this one
Truth! I was thinking the same thing. Monochromatic palettes with repeat color stories released lately from Natasha Denona. People give her way more grace than they do Pat McGraft releases!

Morgan, the darkest brown would work for depth on a deeper complexion but another one would have been nice. I feel like I could get the same looks by combining, metropolis, maybe the yucca palette (maybe) and throw in there a few golds from Auntie Pat 😁. I also see a few shades close to the Biba palette as well. Anyways, nothing is jumping out at me. So I think I’m going to past on this.

I’m quite fair when I’m not using fake tan so lighter shades are really needed. I personally am so happy there are not 3 different dark browns as well as a black and also 4 different dark brown shimmer shades. I have got almost every palette and found a lot are too dark. Such as the my dream palette. Looks beautiful and it is, but the shades are so deep I struggle getting an everyday look. I know we’re trying to be inclusive, but I really do feel us fair girlies are forgotten about a lot! I have this palette on order and think these shades will be perfect for summer but especially for my winter skin. Thanks ND 💖
I feel like pallets have been best for mid range skin tones. I'm not even on the darkest range and colors do not work on me. It just...off. if it doesn't work for me, I know it's not gonna work for someone darker than me. That being said, adding a black or dark brown isn't really being inclusive, in my opinion. They need to make shades that show up on everyone. Not shades to mix in so it can maybe work on skin tones. Or make pallets that are specifically for fair/light, tan/medium and deep/rich like they do blushes. Sell all the colors as a whole pallet and split up those colors in said pallet for the tones. A lot of the times, the whole pallet has many colors I can't and would never use.

Honestly yeah the older gold palette is very interesting visually but I decluttered it exactly because of those teals and green-golds. They made me look sick and I hated it vene though I loved some of the more neutral golds on me. People really need to realize that not everyone loves the original and it's not really flattering on everyone. This one seems like a very mild take on golden palette and that's why I think it's actually will be more appealing and useful for more people

I'm happy that my Golden palette arrived today. The Gold palette is one of my favorite ND palettes and I love gold eye shadows. But I wish there was a deeper matte and at least one other color that goes with gold in the palette because the looks are going too similar. Great review and pretty look!

I'm meh, but that's fine. You can't please everyone all the time, and gold just is not going to work on my extremely pale, cool skin. I do think the palette stood out more with the green-teal shades. They made the Gold palette look exciting and fresh.

Mine just came in a few hours ago and to me it feels like a goof proof everyday palette for me personally. I don’t own the original gold palette and I hope she does what she did with the tropic and sell just the pops of colors in the palette as a mini palette. The highlight palette is gorgeous and I plan to use the darkest as a blush topper this summer and a one shadow look in the fall, I wish she sold highlighters as singles this it would have made sense to

Too Faced needs to bring back the Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette. It was my go to palette for all year around and whenever I wore it, I got complements saying that my eyeshadow looked really good. It was natural with a lot of pops of color. I miss it
I feel like this is the lighter skin version of the bronze palette. I find I only use a couple darker shades in the outer corner and I’m always craving more light to mid shades which I feel she never has enough of. Even the biba palette is too deep for me
I don’t think it’s a placebo effect, everyone has been saying for a few er that Natasha has changed her formula since the OG days to save money. I honestly think that there isn’t enough range in this palette for the price considering what we got with the original, it’s beautiful to look at but just not worth it.
Reminds me of the chocolate bar, like you said, reminds me of colourpop [insert half the collection here]. I wouldn’t be surprised if the bronze palette got discontinued/replaced
Not going to lie, I'm disappointed she dropped the teal shades - that really enhanced the palette. If she had released the OG gold in midi aize and released this one as a separate story I probably would get both, but I might wait to see this one in person before purchasing

I am hoping for the same cool toned platinum! The xenon caught my attention, it just seemed repetitive. Now if i was able to score it for that low cost i would have been all for it! Lol

I saw a review earlier where someone swatched the shades from the Golden next to shades of the Gold. She said her Gold palette matte shades were creamier and you could see the difference when she was swatching. Idk how long she has had her Gold palette.
I'm in Canada and ordered my copy Monday afternoon from the ND website. Shipping was super fast. I had it in my hands Wednesday morning. I don't know what's wrong with me, but it's now Friday night and I still haven't touched it because I don't want to mess it up, lol.

I really just like the shimmers not likely to use the other shades. Kinda reminds me of the honey from urban decay which I ended up giving to my daughter. Second everyone else wish there was something else other than neutral browns. Even the shimmers seem like they are not as nice as ones in yucca.

I'm wondering: I own a recent Gold palette and the Sigma Ambiance... Would the Golden palette bring something else? 🤔 Like many other commentators, I really just wished she had redone the Gold palette in a midi size... 🤷♀️
I see some similarity to the Urban decay Naked Honey too.
I have the orginal ND gold palette and bought a backup when I heard it’s going to be discontinued 😅🙈so i think Im gonna pass up on the new Golden palette. Thanks for the review Morgan!

💜💜💜 I think she split the gold palette between Yucca and the Golden and maybe you can mix and match to create the “gold “ . Just my theory but maybe it divided into minis like you said.

I really like it but I would have preferred it with more yellow-caramel undertone and less orangish
I played with fizzy and when you use a damp brush it brings a little more! Plus almost a peach undertone comes out.

Too Faced needs to bring back the Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette. It was my go to palette for all year around and whenever I wore it, I got complements saying that my eyeshadow looked really good. It was natural with a lot of pops of color. I miss it
I feel like this is the lighter skin version of the bronze palette. I find I only use a couple darker shades in the outer corner and I’m always craving more light to mid shades which I feel she never has enough of. Even the biba palette is too deep for me

I don’t think it’s a placebo effect, everyone has been saying for a few er that Natasha has changed her formula since the OG days to save money. I honestly think that there isn’t enough range in this palette for the price considering what we got with the original, it’s beautiful to look at but just not worth it.

Reminds me of the chocolate bar, like you said, reminds me of colourpop [insert half the collection here]. I wouldn’t be surprised if the bronze palette got discontinued/replaced
Not going to lie, I'm disappointed she dropped the teal shades - that really enhanced the palette. If she had released the OG gold in midi aize and released this one as a separate story I probably would get both, but I might wait to see this one in person before purchasing

I am hoping for the same cool toned platinum! The xenon caught my attention, it just seemed repetitive. Now if i was able to score it for that low cost i would have been all for it! Lol

@@glitter7777have you seen Adept’s Amy loves makeup palette or Ensley Reign’s cold moon palette? Indi has given us some great cool toned options this year.
So happy Log was in this. I love it. It’s in Baby gold and I use it All the time. I’m using other palettes and not working. Add a little Log it all comes together

I saw a review earlier where someone swatched the shades from the Golden next to shades of the Gold. She said her Gold palette matte shades were creamier and you could see the difference when she was swatching. Idk how long she has had her Gold palette.

I really like the palette except for Aura. It reminds me of the white shade from her Sunset palette. I've been using Astral
Solstice from PML instead for an inner corner highlight.

I really just like the shimmers not likely to use the other shades. Kinda reminds me of the honey from urban decay which I ended up giving to my daughter. Second everyone else wish there was something else other than neutral browns. Even the shimmers seem like they are not as nice as ones in yucca.

Bought it cuz all her palettes have so many medium and deep shades. She is always lacking in her light shades especially creams and browns. Excited to add this to my collection and move the shades around to make my own palette
