The SuperMan punch was Beautiful!!!! Textbook Perfect the way he pulled it off god-damm! You only see that in movies and video games,Hari is the BEST in my opinion.
Badr was such a talented fighter competing in the best kickboxing organisation at such a young age just shows how gifted he was such a badass
In 2008 and 2009, Badr won 11 times and 8 times in KO in round one, against Sefo, Feitosa, Ostojic, Sinistra, Schilt, Zamedov, Karaev and Overeem. Only Aerts and Zimmerman survived the first round, but got KOed in round 2 and 3. Hongman was the only one who went with Badr three rounds without going down once. He definately was the one in K-1 who could absorb the most. Even Badr said after the fight Hongman has a very strong chin.

You got to give Hong Man Choi a tremendous amount of credit since he almost beat the best kickboxer of all time in Badr Hari, who is a highly skilled fighter. If you look at Hong Man's past fights he only truly won by brute force and also since his opponents could not reach his head.

Size matters a lot, Badr throwed so many punches and he get nearly KO'ed so many times, Choi random smash nearly break badr's neck... If Badr was a little slower it would be massacre of him.

@@charlesciminera5881 No, the proof is here! Badr Hari is a hell of a fighter, very agressive and energetic, he threw all he had and more in order to offset his size inferiority and what did happen?? Choi wasn't even destabilised nor moved one time.. but on the contrary, he almost knocked him down by approximative landed punches..
I mean, Choi is some athletic for his size, but obviously he don't have the level (speed and agility) Hari have, he is technically inferior, anyway if the fight had lasted longer, I'm quite sure Hari would have got exhausted and lost by a big KO

To me it looks like Choi needs a special strategy for his body type. Obviously he’s not going to be fast because of his lengthy body. For what it is, I’d say Choi has some good timing.
Hell yeah, he had some good counters, if you remember Choi from back in the day, against Fedor, he barely did anything.He has really improved!But yeah, with a good strategy utilizing his gifts, he could be even better.

I think the best chance to beat Badr is to risk being knocked out and trade hands. Badr is known for a very suspect chin. The times he has lost has been mostly when someone has taken the fight to him and traded hands. When he gets caught he usually goes down or doesn't recover well.
Small chances to beat him even by trading hands. He is much too fast, long hook, and the best counter striker I've ever seen.
And I don't think he has a weak chin. He recovers pretty well, but he stays down till the last second to recover well.
If course I'm not talking about the fight when Peter Graham broke his jaw...
I could say about Peter Aerts that he has a weak chin. But not Badr Hari.

If you are curious why he is that large, it isn't normal, he had a tumour in his brain that made his human growth hormone go in overdrive, he got surgery a few years ago and it's removed now. Bigfoot Silva of the UFC had the same thing, but he just didn't become as large as this guy. While they are big, often they are slow and stiff, the size is an advantage however, because without the condition they probably wouldn't have been fighters.
The size is an advantage because he's not really a good fighter. But check out Shaq he could've been a heavyweight champion. He fought Del la Hoya and Shane Mosley.....

Yeaaa of course it doesn't matter when you are perfect size for fight! Every fighter between 187-198cm and 105-120kg have perfect size for fight amd everything over that is not important! And under that is not enough! So...size doesn't mater doesn't make sense!
Mighty Mo starched Choi and was 13 cm shorter than badr, and 35 cm shorter than Choi. He had significantly more power despite the size disadvantage.
