Just got a 2017 red gti with dsg with only 6,950 miles on it and I just ordered the same paddle shifters but in red I can’t wait to start having fun with this car there’s so many options to make your gti unique and yours I love it golfs and the whole nostalgia with them and the vw company!
Thanks for posting... Doing this mod today. I got red ones on a whim... now that I am seeing yours, I think I like the silver ones better. Oh, well. Easy, quick, inexpensive mod.
Silver is definitely the way to go for a nice pop in contrast. It also matches the other subtle trim pieces. If you have the money to spend the s2t paddles are absolutely amazing otherwise the Amazon special is a great option. Either way a solid upgrade with an easy install!
I just moved to the dfw area. I’m getting a gti as my next car. I noticed your hendricks shirt. I’ve been watching their inventory, did you deal with them? If so how was it?
Yea that's where I got mine. They were accommodating and overall had a good experience. Typical car dealership stuff in financing trying to get you the add ons but nothing really out of the ordinary!
@@ColoredinLight glad to hear that. I’ve just subbed here and on IG. I haven’t been able to piece together where your at but I’ll look for ya out there! Thanks for the reply.
Oooof that tire spin always scares me on mine because I hate when I see my rpms go to red line. I always try to shift at 5.5 if I really really want to go
@@ColoredinLight nice I'm thinking about getting a GTI w/DSG later down the road and recommendation what year is best (do all of them DSG have the exhaust crackles?)

I just learned after a couple weeks of having the car it has a shift mode.
I appreciate this showing me something I didn’t know.
Have fun!
Just ordered mine. Cant wait
nice!

@@ColoredinLight lol
Do they work on Polo GTI 2024? Cheers
I don't have a Polo so idk
does anyone know if these work on mk8 gti?
Can you shift from the very bottom?
Yep! It's nice

I definitely need to pick up the dogbone instert and some new tires!
Did it. Awesome!
wasn't as frustrating thanks to you 😂
Nice one mate 👍🏼👍🏼
Is this procedure also valid for golf 8?
No idea
Do these work on the 2017 base se model as well?
If you have paddle shifters then yes it should work!
@@ColoredinLight ok sweet, thanks for the quick response on an old video! Fs gaining a sub!
can be used for gti mk6?
Cant say, double check in the amazon ad!
Does these work for tdi?
Idk I have a GTI
Did u end up trying them on the tdi? If so do they fit?
any play in them or r they pretty flush fit?
They're very solid

Theres really not exhaust crackles without a proper down pipe or muffler delete. The GTI is a very refined car.
nice details

The first three minutes are garbage.
Skip ahead then or go make your own video 😂
