Simply speechless. my wife and myself along with our 4 children visited the U.S. IN 2005. long trip from Tasmania, all the usual tourist spots, Disney Land , lego land ,San Diego Zoo and Sea World etc, but the part of the trip that the kids enjoyed the most, and still talk about today, is the Grand Canyon. A place to sit quietly and be awed by the magnificent spectacle. Your vid took me back to those vistas. Thanks and safe travels. Am already looking forward to the next installment.
Wonderful memories! This landscape inspires the kind of quiet contemplation you describe. We visited the Grand Canyon on my (John’s) birthday last year (Episode 11), and although both of us had been there before, it was still a powerful experience. We lingered at the rim for many hours, despite the cold temperatures. It is an experience, like sailing out of sight of land or a starry, moonless desert night sky, that reminds you of the vastness of our world. Thank you for watching and for your very kind words.
