As long as you are not upside down Chris, my thinking is the viewers don’t mind which side you fish from. The content is excellent as usual and we all await the the next upload.
Nice session there Chris. Anybody out on the water must always keep their wits about them as things can go against you so quickly, as your motor just showed us. Glad you had the tools to fix it, was right to have them with you. Some cracking Pollock there bud. Enjoyed, all the best and TL's.
Many thanks for posting what looked like an exciting session. Looked like a super, out of the way and peaceful place to be but does show that you can never be over prepared for the sea. Had just about everything thrown at you today, but my goodness, what amazing fish. Great to see, and all went back safely too. Look forward to seeing the next session. Best wishes, Kev
It's a beautiful spot Kev, and I've only really touched the surface when it comes to fishing it. I generally go through the week, this was the first time I've fished it at the weekend and it was still pretty quiet. I'll be back soon! 👍🎣
Glad to see you back amongst the fish Chris. Some hard fighting Pollock there, along with a rogue codling. You've certainly been practising your juggling act, coming on great lol. Thanks for uploading mate, and well done.
I've just changed jobs, I only work 3 days over the weekend, I was thinking it's time to dust the sturgeon off, you have given me that extra bit of motivation i needed.
What a brilliant session Chris , in a beautiful location too, loved the vid, dont worry about the little things that don't always go according to plan, just shows your human.
Thought that was you in the kayak i could just about hear the geordie accent, i was in the boat & yes that was my sidewinder 😂😂 hope it brings you luck! Great video!
Ha ha brill, it was a nice pollack, at least you got to see it! The sidewinder took quite a few cod for me at Beadnell last Wednesday as it happens! Felt like I was stealing them 🤣🎣
Great video as always, we had a few small pollock off our sib this weekend, wind changed so we had to go in few hours earlier than planned but better safe than sorry.
@@onthedropfishing when I hear the gopro noise it reminds me of a time we had a wicked catch but the go pro had died we was new using them and we didn't know 😔a huge bass chasing a live fishing coming up 😂 now I have turned the sound on
Great video son, ive watched a thousand kayak fishing videos, and fished next to kayak fishermen, but never seen anyone sitting sidesaddle with their feet in the water why?
Thanks Joe, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I just find sitting sideways more comfortable to be honest plus it's easier to fish if your lure is being taken behind you by the drift or the tide. I've never thought about it until now and you're right, I don't know anyone else who does it! 🎣👍
Thanks very much I’m glad you enjoyed it. Yeah people fish from the shore there and all around the mull. If you head a few miles further north to Port Patrick there are some some great shore marks around there as well 👍🎣.
@@onthedropfishing was just looking and some of the spots on the cliffs looked almost accessible lol! Not sure where that is in regards to parking up but I shall google!
Thank you, I like the supernova It’s very very stable! It is quite heavy though so bare that in mind. I take the Sturgeon if it’s a tricky launch or a long drag 👍🎣
So a pollack is a very hard fighter and will almost always make a couple of runs. It’s not that coley aren’t good fighters it’s just that we don’t really get them of any size inshore around the uk. You have to go of the shetlands or to Norway really to catch the big ones 👍🎣
As long as you are not upside down Chris, my thinking is the viewers don’t mind which side you fish from. The content is excellent as usual and we all await the the next upload.
Cheers Angus, I’m glad you enjoyed it. Lots more to come, it’s been a busy month so far 👍🎣
Good to see the "Geordie fish juggler" back in action! Great video, some cracking fish.👍
Cheers Ken, it was a lush day out. I’ll be back for more juggling soon!👍🎣
Brilliant! Love the glitches!! Glad it’s not just me these things happen too! 🎣
I had more trouble with it today David, luckily I had my pedals in the van! 👍🎣
Cracking video, with a bit of drama thrown in. Love your humour.
Thanks mate, I’m glad you enjoyed it. One of my favourite places 👍🎣
haha outstanding fella funny crack good fishing and even better juggling than normal ...cheers for cheering me up on a rubish day bud..

Great video mate, really enjoying something I'm scared to do myself. Keep up the great work.
Thanks very much I’m glad you’re enjoying the content, it’s not that scary really. As long as you’re sensible about it 👍🎣
Steve at the tackle shop is a top lad 👍👍
No haddock yet from there?, there's always a few kicking about 😁😁
He’s a nice guy isn’t he. I wasn’t really far enough out to be honest, I’ve only ever had haddock there out in between the two points myself 👍🎣
Hi chris as i mentioned i fished port logan yesterday and caught 5 pollock and 1 codling in 4 hours used a metal
Good result for a few hours on the water. The metals were king last week 👍🎣
Great video, hope to get down to Port Logan soon.
One of my favourite places 👍🎣

Thinking about upgrading to a Supernova next year. How have you found it?

As always my friend brilliant!!!
Do I get that kayak or the Supernova?
Thanks!
Thanks Glen, glad you enjoyed it. Supernova v Sturgeon…..depends how big your muscles are! The supernova is great but heavy….

Luckily live 2 minute walk to the slipway here in Jersey so will give it some serious thought.

Well if you do don't forget the channel discount code OTD5 😊🎣
Great video the shape of you I’m that kayak 😂 whereabouts do you launch?
Cheers mate, launch off the beach at the harbour. It’s dead easy 👍🎣
@@onthedropfishing thanks! I might plan a trip there this year I am the other said off the channel in NI 👍
Another great video. Do you use single or treble hooks on the metals Chris ?
Thanks David mate, glad you enjoyed it. I use singles, much much better for the fish 👍🎣
What's the difference between the fight in coalfish and pollock when you hook them?
So a pollack is a very hard fighter and will almost always make a couple of runs. It’s not that coley aren’t good fighters it’s just that we don’t really get them of any size inshore around the uk. You have to go of the shetlands or to Norway really to catch the big ones 👍🎣

@On The Drop Fishing fish being caught I've read
Don't you ever keep any of those pollack? A few of them would be banging dipped in a beer batter 😊😂❤with chips
I do like to see them swim away but if one doesn’t make it it definitely gets munched! 😊🎣
Why are laughing for as there is nothing funny
Just turn the volume down John, put some tunes on 😊👍🎣
