I’m a strange kinda bloke Kevin, sometimes I just can’t see the value in buying special tools that take most of the profit from a job & I might not ever use them again. So weirdly I take a calculated chance & it mostly works out. Probably a mad concept though 😬😂😂😂

This might not be best practice but something I do do when stuck just to keep a job going or meet a deadline 😬😬 It is Fantastic having someone from Greece watching an Irish lad, hopefully you can understand my accent 🤞🤞
I find it hard to part with good money on every second job needing special tools. Especially if I think the jobs are simple enough. I have bits thrown all over the workshop and sometimes even forget I have them and order a 2nd 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
Great video, is it essential to Lock that front sprocket on the Timing before removing the fuel pump? I’ve got the 3.2 in line 5 I presume it’s the same thing I haven’t got into the guts of it yet they were charging $3300 to replace the gasket.
Hey Billy, the 3.2 is the same as the first tool I made up, it was slightly different than the 2.2. It isn’t necessary to lock the pump in place. But it is necessary to keep the pump pulley in its central position on the pump. You cannot allow the timing chain to get slack and jump teeth. It would probably be worth inquiring about the locking too if you have time on your side 🤔🤔
No, not on these pumps. They are tapped shaft driven with no locating tabs in the pulley, hence just being concerned about keep my timing chain somewhat tight just to avoid the cam or crank jumping teeth 😉👍👍👍
Today I qualify as a professional mechanic. I have a shock absorbers stuck to a threaded bolt on the rear of my Mazda. The only way to get it off is to use an angle grinder. Peter wish me luck.❤❤

I will fit customer supplied parts but the can quite often be wrong or of really poor quality. Which then becomes a problem when they don’t work after being fitted. I don’t be as concerned with price as I do quality 🤔🤔

No Trevor, no coding needed I just done an injector pump relearn after fitting. The complete job is relatively easy to do 😉😉

Gonna do the lower control arms if the shocks go well and those little drop link things.
Oh gonna try a pullers on the shocks before I take out grinder. Missus is gonna go nucking futs if the power tools are deployed..😂
