Congratulations Clark & Christa on 100K subscribers! 🎉🎉 I’ve been listening to Clark for 30 years. I’ve used your “Customer no service” quote with agents. That’s an oldie but a goodie. Thanks for all you do Clark and being your authentic self on TH-cam. Christa the ultimate professional - informative, focused, & personable - we appreciate you too! Enjoy your success.
Clark now I am your biggest fan! When you stated you're donating your body to science I was so impressed! Few people think of the huge learning benefit for some medical student this is. I too have made arrangements for this when I pass away. Great to listen to you! I learn so much.
Clark and Christa, I did 25 marathons. My overseas marathons were Athens, Greece, original course (4 times), SHAPE, Belgium (3), Paris, London, Rotterdam (2), Frankfurt, Berlin, and Munich. I qualified for Boston and New York Marathons, but did not run them.
I hope I'm putting this comment on the right video. I heard Clark talking about annual travel insurance. Annual travel insurance comes with a caveat. I was going to be gone 4 months last year so I was looking for an annual policy. On reading the details I had to come home at the end of 3 months and leave again from the United States. I called two of the travel insurance companies and they verified that was true. I could not be gone longer than 3 months from the USA even though it's for an annual policy. I think Clark needs to make that clear.
Towards the end you were talking about the marine marathon and you mentioned one of the fables. Krista said Little Red Riding Hood because Clark couldn't remember what it was. I believe the one you meant Clark was the three little pigs is where they huff and puff and blow your house down lol!
Clark, my house is worth 35X the combined value of my cars (yes, I drive old cars; an '03:and an '07). Yet, the biweekly premium difference (homeowners' to auto insurance) is between $30 and $50. Pretty startling.
I am 69, single and retired....I have had enough!! I had a small savings and emergency fund and then we had Hurricane Sally 3 yrs ago.... it is draining me to pay the personal loan I took out to do mandatory repairs...ready to just say forget it....dont care what my credit report will look like, not planning on buying anything but will just stop paying the loan...tired of struggling month to month...I own nothing so they cant come after anything...
I’m getting $1000 from Wells Fargo shortly for a class action lawsuit. Already got $295 and getting more shortly. Just negotiated a bigger claim with them. Had to argue a bit but it’s been worth it!
Well in my state if you have a car that you register each year (as you should and have to). In order to have a license plate with a correct year! So when you register now, you automatically get a letter from the DMV. Saying that you have a registered car you must get insurance or they will charge you or take your registration away. On top of that you have to prove that a vehicle you’ve registered (up to date) is broke down (when it’s actually broken down). If you don’t prove this you’ll be made to get insurance on a vehicle that’s not even running. Also, our 19 year old has had a drivers license (for when he gets a car not to drive ours!) and the DMV/Insurance company contact us saying he is now on our insurance policy! So we’re charged for him automatically, when he doesn’t drive and won’t until he saves to buy his own vehicle. It’s a run around and feels more and more like a huge scam!
That Trusted Contract proved quite valuable to us. MIL's brother, no wife no kids, lived in a different state and his brokerage called her because they were concerned about him. Turned out he was Stage 4 dementia. We were able to step in and stop some financial hemorrhaging not from that brokerage but from his checking account at a different bank.
With every boomer end of life convo.s are so important: Signed Health directives, Registerred Trusted Rep., Signed Power of Attorney, Expressed Handling of Remains, etc.
Clark please encourage people to have the conversation with their family members/parents about having a medical alert bracelet/necklace. An identification that you wear all the time. My medical alert has: first name, medical condition or medication, birth month and year, allergy, family members first name and phone number for the hospital to call you when your family member is in the hospital.
I have an old car that I could technically not even insure but because I have a multiple car discount by comboming coverage with my new car it saves me nearly a $1000 a year.
"Clarkies"... Great Idea!... YT is where we all Watch you Guys! We can comment without a "Clark Stinks" many of us want to be polite.... Clark NEVER STINKS!
My greatest happiness is the bi-weekly profit of $64,000 that I consistently get from my $15,000 investment despite economic fluctuations and Market crisis,God bless expert Ms Caroline Lenz
The current economic crisis in the US is indeed quite severe, which is why I strongly encourage anyone with savings to seek out a reputable financial advisor. Such advisors can guide them in finding better investment opportunities, such as stocks, forex, and other assets, which have the potential to be more profitable, my advisor is Ms Caroline.
The crypto market is highly profitable with an expert broker just like Caroline Lenz. I got recommended to her and ever since then my financial life has been a success
Crypto investing has brought me great success. Regardless of the economic downturn I can boast about $8,000 every week from my investments. All thanks to Ms Caroline Lenz.
Same here, I lowered mine to 200, from 1000. Absolutely definitely worth it. Especially if you get a cracked windshield or catalytic converter stolen. Either way it's worth it for the lower deductible.
Wow...I was part of a class action suit and got $1,800 from it. It was against a Pennsylvania based credit union. In reality, the $1,800 was a drop in the bucket compared to the damage this credit union did due to their bad practices'.
Insurance companies or investment companies could do maybe a once a month sort of welfare check on the elderly or something and improve their own bottom line naturally, but could be a selling point to check on the individual and maybe offer ways to improve mental health or something. 😊🌎❤️🕺🏻 Having some concern even when you know they're trying to make money just in a nice way is greatly appreciated.
Insurance companies brought a lot of this on themselves. They have consistently tried to screw claimants with lowball offers, instead of a decent offer. This forced claimants to turn to blood sucking attorneys to file inflated requests. The other significant factor is fraud by insureds.

What if I have no one to trust? I can see dementia coming and I can't trust my only addicted 55-year-old child or any of my aging siblings or my two very young grandchildren. My parents were both only-children so the family is very small (no aunts, uncles, cousins). All my trusted friends have either passed away or are having aging issues themselves. What can I do other than pay someone to care about my finances, but I don't think that exists?

Clark is the GOAT!
Clark, there’s still time to do a marathon. I did DerbyFest 2022 at age 61. It’s mindset.
Just wish I could clean house with that mindset.

I regret paying off my 15year credit cards. Great information
Why regret?

And is there a specific company you recommend or used?

I agree about keeping the cards open.

Inspiring! Do you think you can give me some advice on how to invest in a healthy way as you are doing?
If I may ask how you can make so much despite the economic downturn because I have been trading for a while but I keep losing.

I have USAA.
Clark would you keep collision insurance on 2012 dodge ram p/u regular cab 70000 miles?
here in Calif you would. Very expensive to replace a good truck
Yes I would keep it.
It depends how much would you get if its totalled. I have tried to ask what that would be but ins comp would not tell me.
I lowered the deductible. I have a ZERO deductible for $5 a month more because there might be a month when I can't afford the $1,000 deductible.
Same here, I lowered mine to 200, from 1000. Absolutely definitely worth it. Especially if you get a cracked windshield or catalytic converter stolen. Either way it's worth it for the lower deductible.

The lawyers in that probably got millions...
Sadly, a few major crypto creators and promoters are no longer living with us. We will see what comes of the industry.
🎉CONGRATULATIONS 🎊 😃😁👏🙌😂

And the head guy at State Farm continues to rake in the cash--for himself.

Maybe these ins companies need to stop giving out millions in bonuses to their top dogs…have a decent escrow acct to cover the up tick in claims… JS
back to horses
Cancel the card and don't open one ever again.
It has absolutely zero to do with money.
