I disagree about not having credit cards. Credit cards provide better security protections than using Debit cards. Just don't carry balances, or only carry smaller manageable balances, that you always have funds to pay off whenever you need to. Don't buy more than you already have the money for. Always READ the fine print & understand what you are getting into.
@@retired8484 Your "credit scores" can & are tied to insurance rates, housing prices, loan interest rates, even job offers. People cannot afford to ignore these. They just need to use credit carefully, and to their greatest advantage.
Buying a used car is only paying for someone else's problem. Lease a new car....at the end of the lease...purchase the car at the depreciated value. Now you have a car that you know it's history because you've been the only driver and at a used car price. Call the credit card company and cancel the charges through them.
We completely welcome differing opinions, but the numbers don't work out in your favor with a lease. We almost always don't recommend them, if you can afford to buy a vehicle. 💚
I agree with Clark, also why would you have to call your credit company to cancel the charges. If you're leasing, wouldn't the car company cancel the charges?

Great rule of thumb! 👍
I actually do know the backstory behind the Starbucks drink sizes. Way way back in the day, it used to be "small" and "tall," so that tall was the large size. Then, because we're America, we wanted it even bigger - so they came out with the grande. Then of course the venti (twenty oz), and then of course...the trenta (thirty oz), which is currently the biggest. :)
Thanks for the history lesson! Now if you can tell us why they don't spell names correctly 😂💚
@@Clark 🤣
Never seen a trenta.
Just heard of trenta a few months back
Funny you said 23 year old car... One of our cars is 23 years old. We have three vehicles totalling over 650,000 miles. Each time one of our cars needs repair, we tell ourselves, $500 repair fee or $10,000 annually for 4 to 5 years. The higher insurance and tax too. Our answer is always to repair the car!!!!!
I shop on line only occasionally. And with only a limited number of companies. I like to see and touch what I am going to buy before the purchase. So maybe I am old fashioned, but I like brick and morter as long as I am able to get around. My grandma was crippled to a wheelchair due to a genetic disability and she would order through catelogs. For thosr who cannot get out and about, I certainally understand. And for those who work nearly 24 hours per day, I understand as well. We all have our preferences and there is no right or wrong way.
Thank god I don’t have the Starbucks habit.. I did get a FREE medium Mocha Frappé from McDonald’s for using my APP.. WOW.. that was good.. esp since it was”free”
OMG.. the people who want a pool for their son… get a LAP POOL.. I’ve had one.. it’s great.. you don’t need a big pool
I make diy Starbucks 😂
Scrap the credit card. Do not replace it.
*If they don't mind their credit score dropping after the scrap. 💚
Yeah, people need to get over credit "scores" and constantly chasing the latest "reward" programs.
@@retired8484I cannot get over credit scores because in effects whether or not my job application is processed or how much I pay for insurance on my house and car.
I'm
Credit card companies don’t always stand by their customers like they used to.
Definitely no
We completely welcome differing opinions, but the numbers don't work out in your favor with a lease. We almost always don't recommend them, if you can afford to buy a vehicle. 💚
I agree with Clark, also why would you have to call your credit company to cancel the charges. If you're leasing, wouldn't the car company cancel the charges?
Sorry, Christin; but, Starbucks is some of the worst tasting coffee around. I have tried Starbucks numerous times; and, every time I try it, I think, why do people buy this horrible coffee. Yes, I am a coffee snob, as my husband labels me; so, I really can not believe that people go back to Starbucks time after time.
Pikes Place blend is their best blend.
Please share your favorite coffee! ☕
