Brilliant vid mate ❤
Thank you bud! 🫶🏼
Full respect for your handiwork, I’ve always just paid someone to do any mods to my bikes. That monkey is awesome
Thanks! I started doing it due to a lack of funds, and now it's just seeing the price people quote and thinking "sod that I'll do it myself" 😂😂
I wish I had someone to install these for me it’s a little out of my wheelhouse I got the 300 lb rear shocks already.
Thanks for posting. Where did you buy the shocks and fork parts from?
Got them both from here! Great service, fast delivery too

Loved that pal. Good to see to see you spanking your monkey 🙉😂😂
😂😂😂 normally you have to pay extra to see those kind of vids!
@@SamVBikes 😂😂😂
😂😂 my favourite quote "it's sssmasive" 😂😂
😂😂
Great Mods Sam, I have heard good things about yss shocks and with the fork upgrade you will be even quicker at the ABR if you take it next year 😀
Thanks bud! I ender up with YSS fork springs in the Tracer and they were brilliant! So far.. these have made an enormous improvement, so ABR is going to be a blast!
@@SamVBikes suspension upgrade is on my list for the 900 hornet with yss as one of the options in the frame along with hagon, which I have used in the past. Hagon build to suit rider weight, which is a big advantage for me.
Yeah I love the idea of the Hagon stuff. Email them your specs and they build a kit specific for you. These YSS kits are similar but it's more selecting the weight category you fit in. So for example my rear shocks are for 95-110kg I think it was. Works perfectly though so I can't complain. Best bang for buck to completely change the bike
@@SamVBikes agreed. I have had twin and mono shocks from hagon and been very happy with them in the past, and the price is good too. There is just so much choice out there. I love the idea of ohlins but front and back is 2/3 of the value of the bike!
Haha yeah Ohlins are super expensive. Also I'd argue how much better they are than the rest of the market now. They used to be head and shoulders above the competition but not anymore. I assume on a track you'd notice but on the road.. probably worth saving some money
Nice!! Ohlins are too expensive. What tyres have you got? 120 and 130 80 12? Thanks
Yeah I thought so too! Yes I think that's it. They are Kenda Big Blocks!
@@SamVBikes thanks! Nice Monkey! Memories from Spain
I just watched your 1290 remap vid and wondered if you declared this to your insurance company. My insurance company asked if I had any mods done to the bike and I presume if you don't declare any mod, then they can deny any claim you might have. I might get my GSX 1250 remapped.
Yes! All my mods are declared to my insurance. Having said that, insurance companies are insurance companies and they will do literally anything to get out of paying!
Performance or handling mods do put the premium up more though so worth checked before you do it
Nice vid in near dark, I nearly could see it.
I guess that's what happens when you try to create content for people after you've finished your full time job
@@SamVBikes I was enjoying the info on the suspension install and then there was never a good one showing it work. Understood on not enough time in the day. Day light side view of the suspension working would be awesome. Just a thought. Great stuff though.
I've got a few big plans for the Monkey off roading so should be able to get some better shots of it working in upcoming vids!
Where is the enduro vid?
Couldnt find it
It will be the ABR video in July this year. There's one ABR video and one monkey race video
great vid but ffs get some lights in yer garage
I have 4 strip lights and 2 massive led flood lights. Cameras that have good low light pick-up are sodding expensive! I'd rather spend my money on bike parts!
