As a pet photographer, this is a game changer. When removing leashes/harnesses, matching muscle mass and hair can be - trying at times. Although I'm not completely on board with AI, for what I will use it for..... this is a huge time saver! Thank you yet again Kristina!

Superb! AND, you are a wonderful teacher! Very professional, not all those bells and whistles and bang and boom! Continue on that road! The Adobe technique is unbelievable and shows who is the King or the Queen!!! I wonder how Lightroom Classic will handle this, will the same stuff be integrated there as well? Probably not as Lightroom Classic is more of a photo editing software! I am so glad that Adobe is on the move!

How were you able to download version 24.6? I can't find it anywhere, it's not showing up in Creative Cloud and I can't find it with a Google and Yahoo search. Is this something that's available for Apple only right now?
You need to go to your beta apps section in the creative cloud.

Thank you for this info about the recent beta and the incredible new fill mode. I am using Photoshop since 30 years now, started with version 3.5 and its just wonderful what Adobe make here including AI more and more - I come from germany and have let you an abo here.

Love the name of your Channel and Business! AI is here and it's only going to get better. I like it in this context where it is a tool instead of actually generating the art. A few of these examples though would be easy to do using the clone/stamp tool but that last example was a great demo of how this works!

I just downloaded the beta but it doesn't give me the options for "generative fill" after using the lasso tool. Is there something else that needs to be activated to get this option to appear?

i'm using beta 26.0.0 which is an advanced version from the one shown here. If I do exactly as described to my object that I want removed, I get 3 variations of the same object and not a new background. I can't find the way to just remove the object.

When I t to to remove an object using generative fill, it always replaces the object with something else. 🤷♂️
Ive had this happen a couple of times too! They just came out with an update and integrated it into the regular photoshop. Have you tried the newer build of the generative fill which is in photoshop proper?

Go into your Creative Cloud App, then on the left, choose beta apps, and choose photoshop (beta) from that list!

9:45 looks like the error SD gets when floats get numbers outside the range they can hold. Happens most often if you use halve sized floats.

It's a martial art video, where I don't want my face seen. But when my hands pass in front of my face they too will blur out. Can I make the hand show while the face doesn't?
Is this going to be available without having to be processed in the cloud? Many people aren't always linked to the internet and it would be good if that wasn't necessary.

I can’t get it to work with my new mac, please help, very frustrated
HELP...I have the Generative Tool bar pinned in place but not the Prompt Tab. I've been over the tool bar and can't find or open the prompt dialogue box.
You might need to force update the beta. Go into your creative cloud app and try and update your Photoshop Beta app.

Unfortunately anything used as generative fill cannot be used commercially as with new Photoshop update we need to check the box and sign this clause. Hours and hours of work only for personal usage. But yes...the new features are AMAZING

I just read that the “generative” option might not be available just yet on silicone macs. I have the M2 chip.
I have an M2 as well. Its not that. Heres a link to the most recent post on Adobe. You may have to do a forced update. Go to your app and choose check for updates!

you hold the shift key to add to selections and you hold the option/alt key to subtract from selections. Hope that helps!

Nice feature, however I have crappy internet service without a lot of upload or download speed. What is the minimum internet requirements? Why not allow rendering on our own computers, for those that have the processing power. Does Adobe own the rights to the photo if you choose one of their options? Great job showing this new feature.

@@homeinrussia the remove tool was just added into the regular photoshop program today (not the beta). I think you may be updating the regular app and not the public beta. The icon of the public beta photoshop is a white box with a light blue "Ps"
@@SharkPixel Yes I went into the "Beta Apps" section with the Light blue "Ps" with the white background and opened the Beta from there. I have the "Strawberry Letter" loading app screen on startup instead of the typical loading screen.

When will these features get added to the non-beta version of Photoshop? I just updated to version 24.5 and still not included.
Currently, Adobe is still making sure no generated images infringe on copyright. Once they are confident the tech can be used commercially, it will go into the regular PS, but I have no idea when that will be.

It has to make up the craters under her arm if you remove the girl -so you get 3 different versions of the craters but I imagine none are astronomer accurate..I bet that is coming soon though. Amazing tech!

After finishing with Generative Fill in Photoshop I would think Adobe's next step would be Premiere and After Effects. Anyone have any word on that?

@@rickb831611 Make a random selection, then go into Edit -> Generative Fill. Does it show up in your Edit menu?
So if your computer is not the latest you cannot use beta to Its full potential. So photoshop is really been not fair on the people that cannot update or afford to update there computer. Even though you might be paying your monthly subscription you loose out on these new updates
Im not sure I follow. The beta version is public so anyone who choose to, can download it. The reason it's still in beta is so we can all help crowd-source it's improvement. Its also still in beta because Adobe is still making sure none of their pixel generated content directly matches copyrighted material from a reference photo. Once it hits normal photoshop, people will be able to use the generations in commercial work.
@@SharkPixel Thank you for the reply . Beta is for everyone yes i agree i have downloaded it myself but were not available to use it to its full potential because my computer was not up it and it would freeze up. So I had to unistal it and just keep to the normal photoshop .
I’ve downloaded the new beta, and honestly it sucks in comparison to what you’re showing. It’s missing options you’ve mentioned/shown which makes it not so user friendly
