Great review Matt of my favorite shoe. Made for both runners and walking. I love this update. You described it perfectly. I have had the Bondi B, version 6,7,8 and now 9.
@@brucemihalick4117 Thanks, Bruce, and I’m glad to hear you like this update! I think this one is going to be really popular with runners! I think it will always be a good option for walkers and daily wearers, but it’s the runners who will really benefit from this update.
@@its_Matt_B_ I’m sure! I’d say so far the 5 was the sweet spot but I have just loved them all! The other one I wish was re-released is the og Arahi! That was my first Hoka and it was a game changer for me!
I started running a few months ago but I have ITBS now :(. Maybe I should try other shoes. Now I'm on Asics Cumulus 25 8mm drop. I heard lower drops are easier on the knee?
@@G91YS It’s all swings and roundabouts. Lower drop shoes can indeed reduce strain in the knees, but they also increase calf strain. Either way, take some time off to let any inflammation go down and work on strength training to make your legs stronger which could prevent future ITBS recurrences.

Not a Hoka guy but I enjoy your reviews, as always.
@@MyFatAdaptedLife Thanks for always watching! I appreciate you taking the time! 👊🏽
@its_Matt_B_ Thx for giving your fans quality content.
I’ve been in Bondi 5,6,7,8 since for I don’t know how long now. They’ve been my workhorse. Love em! The 9 is definitely be on my shortlist!
@@Deadbuck73 You’ve got so much experience with Bondis of the past that I think you’re really going to appreciate v9.
