I’m a journeyman welder so the fabrication side of things came from my job. As for machining, I just bought a machine and learned from TH-cam. Blondihacks has an entire series dedicated to machine tool basics and that was a big help.
I have been super busy with work this last month! I’m slowly filming some stuff. Hopefully have er running this weekend and I can get a video out next week!
Can't wait to see it finish and would be a dream to have your tool set up but then again I wouldn't know how to use them lol, keep it up and I'll just enjoy your build for now. Btw can I ask why you used the stick weld instead of a mig or tig for certain parts?
Thank you. It’s all technically rated for the same tensile strength. Ive just worked with stick a lot in the industry and know it penetrates and it also leaves a good deposit. I think above anything it just gives me peace of mind haha
Chucks of any make (ALL made in China!) wear out. They are a consumable, and cheap to replace. Also, that dumb 'hack' about 'locking' the keyless chuck is fake lol.
First time I’ve seen how a rigid front end is built, very cool.
Man this is my new favorite chopper channel!!!!
Thanks man! Glad you enjoy it!
@@coleyellowbirdwelds Still waiting for new video 😄
The sketchiness and general fuckery in this video earned you a sub my friend.
Thanks!!
Old school 70s Swedish chopper..... How cool is that 👌😁
i come for the cats and shaft rubbing, but I'll stay for the choppers - thank you.
Deadly man!!!! Looks great! You used the hell out of that little mill/lathe!
Thank man!
I’d say besides the actual welding machines it’s my most used tool for sure!
A coffin shaped headlight would fit nice something tall and skinny to match the tall and skinny look front on
This is what i said
Killer progress bud! Thanks for the shout!!
💪🏻
"tried to get a good fuckin shot and the fuckin drill slips...idiot" lol hands down my new favorite chopper builder on youtube. Cheers man!
Thanks dude!
Good job brother!!! I gotta get my channel moving again thanks for the inspiration!!
Hell yea! Thanks man!
Damn I was debating getting a TIG welder but I guess stick really is industrial strength and I’m certified
For what you pay for welders now days a tig is the way to go. You can stick with them too.
Awesome build.... Love it ...
i agree with andy, that splatter of a tig weld on them forks.. gotaa go
Looking tough man!!!!!
Would you want to put a spacer between the legs, halfway down, to help dampen any resonant floppiness?
It’s surprisingly not floppy
awesome work, you just got my sub!
Awesome, thank you!
Another killa video.
Very nice
Hope your good
Hope to see an update
I’m all good! Just been working alot. Bike has been sitting untouched the entire time
Super cool, what’s your paint scheme?
My buddy is going to do a nice pearl job on it. The colour is a surprise!
I like it.
Thank you!
Nice work man, been watching the whole series. What's your background on machining etc? How did you learn all this?

@coleyellowbirdwelds thanks man, lemme check out Blondihacks

Are you going with a front brake ? It’s good watching your channel after watching all the prima Donna builders with their egos
@@user-zy4yh3rm3z thanks man!
no front brake on this one.
You could have made a springer i did in 92 springs from a set of shocks to stop flexing i put some chaintensioner teflonwheels inbetween
I was born in 92
@@coleyellowbirdwelds me in 60 old not obselite

Yes yes yes FFFFF ING AWESOME
If it ain’t long it’s wrong!
Great fucking job

It's the same as Mexican pointy boots. Ugly and impractical, but some people like it.
Are you some people??
@@coleyellowbirdweldsNope.
The same as Mexican pointy boots, sharp, slick, and kick ass! Don’t worry about these nerds, keep up the build!

This frontend sucks!!! It's too short!
Subscribed :)))
I’ll make it longer next time

The only thing is I’ve been having issues with it since the tool was new. I ordered a rohm (made in Germany) so I’m hoping that solves the problem.
Bet it rides real good. NOT!
Lmao good one
