Vincent Price was so utterly lovable yet sad in this.
Glad he had such an amazing role late in life. Vincent was always a favorite of mine.
Kind of a darker version of Geppetto. Not exactly the hubris of a Dr Frankenstein.
He would’ve 100% been in most, if not all Tim Burton movies
@@TheHalloweenKingI agree.
@@TheHalloweenKing agree
I cried after I got home. I was upset Edward had to live the rest of his life in solitude, no girl in end.
@@noneofureffinbusiness Even sadder.
Edward seems like a metaphor of autistic people. I have to be alone too for many reasons.
He didn't have to - she just left him there
@@nuclearcatbaby1131You’re artistic ?
@@barryrichman2874Well I’m that too I guess
I cry multiple times everytime I’m brave enough to watch it. He’s so innocent. It’s so bloody unfair.
One of the most beautiful movies ever made.
It's amazing that Tim Burton got to work with his childhood hero before he passed in 1993.
"We mixed the snow with plastic chips and glitter."
Director: "Okay Winona, now look up at the snow as it falls on your face- We only got one shot at this everyone."
Edward scissorhands is a work of art. It's so beautiful. I still am surprised by Johnny Depps range. If you told 15 year old me that the guy for Edward was also Jack sparrow, I wouldn't believe it.
But this movie was amazing. And I like how it feels like it's how I would prefer to see the world than it being so lifeless and desaturated and instead being colorful and beautiful like a painting.
Im still wondering how sharp his scissors were since they seem indestructible.
Beautiful scene, beautiful movie. Makes me nostalgic everytime
Tim Burton's magnum opus, without a doubt.
Not just Burton's best, but arguably the best Danny Elfman score. So haunting, romantic, wistful, tragic, and beautiful.
Tough to pick one Elfman score, since Batman, Spider-Man, and a host of others are all fantastic, but Edward Scissorhands is aces for me.
You don't get magic like this anymore, shit I near got watery eyed watching this as I remember watchin it on tv when I was a young teen. I thought it was absolutely stunning & Danny Elfmans soundtrack just does the best ever also to boost that glee & crushing depth of sorrow, he had other film's he did with Burton obviously like Batman, Corpse Bride, Sweeney Todd, Alice in Wonderland' just to name a few. But this film was I find thee most enchanting & I recon emotional of Tim's work as it's basically the story of Frankenstein's Monster, Vincent Price was absolutely perfect in his role here & so was Wynona Ryder.
Even just watching a "short" I feel the emotion from this movie.
I remember when this movie came out as a kid it was such a good movie
That Ice Dance piece is one of the most beautiful and magical songs ever composed for film. Everytime I hear it it gives me nostalgia. Thank you Danny Elfman!
My all time favorite Tim Burton movie this movie introduced me to both Tim and Johnny Depp been a huge fan of theirs since i was a little kid and i still love them to this day
That soundtrack always gets me ❣️
An Amazing movie, I still get a tear in my eye watching this.
Tim Burton is amazing, but I think since his movies are more "childish" (although they might be gore and sometimes horror) he doesn't get the recognition he deserves
A truly amazing story
I lost the love of my life. He is my Edward. This movie keeps me grounded when I feel like I’m losing myself. I’m so thankful to everyone who made it happen. It’s my refuge in troubled times 💕
i cry everytime i watch it stunning movie
Best movie he ever made. I cry every time I watch it.
I wanna watch this so bad, I’ve seen parts of it but haven’t watched it fully 😭 Plus Vincent Price is in it so all the more reason to!
I literally can't watch this movie without weeping, but I love it so much 🩵
Mr. Burton, please, we're begging you... Release what little you have of _Conversations With Vincent._ We promise, we won't think less of it for being incomplete. We just want to appreciate what's there. You know, like Edward.
Absolutely beautiful movie. The ice dance music by Danny Elfman I still one of my favourite scores in music history.
I love 💕 watching Edward scissorhands.
One of my fav movies
U don't now how much I cried 😭🥺
When I was a kid I watch the movie I cry not because I was afraid got because it a very sad but beautiful movie😢
That-ah Edward-ah Scissorhands……he make-ah me cry!!!!
I love Edward. He was so pure and innocent, yet the world was so cruel to him.
This is definitely my favorite Burton movie. Loved it since I was a kid.
Lucy Loud from The Loud House confirmed Edward Scissorhands ✂️ is her favorite movie.
Just watched it again for the 100th time. It's such a masterpiece and incredible work by Danny Elfman as well. Ice dance is the best song ever.
Vincent Price one of your idols is praising your work in this amazing
My favorite movie ❤
I live about 5 minutes from one of the locations in the movie, Southgate shopping center. The sign is still up, as well as Crowder Bros Hardware, where he got his scissors sharpened.
The restaurant from the restaurant scene was right across the street, but I believe it's a bakery now.
The most relatable film I’ve ever seen
Don't worry Johnny I cry as well😢
I love this movie, is my favorite
Coś wspaniałego brak słów❤❤😢
What really beiught in as well eas the soundtrack. It was perfect along with the film. There will never be anything like it
The happiest and saddest story I've ever seen. I have it on DVD. One of my all time favorites. Everytime I watch it I almost cry.
Vincent Price makes Everything Better!! That’s the one question I have for Johnny Depp …….. what’s it like to work with Vincent Price , and did he do any cooking for you??? ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
He never topped it.
Beautiful movie ❤
I wish Tim Burton would make a novelization of his original script with the Inventor having a more prominent role as intended
I always had the feeling that this movie was personal for Burton and I guess I was correct. Personal for a lot of people and intensely emotional
That's Vincent ph#cking Price yo 😳
Musical score ❤
Fabulous gifts ❤❤❤❤😊
We used “real snow”=“plastic particles”
This was Price's last film 😢
This is such a beautiful movie.
I didn't know that Vincent Price had a beard. I only ever saw him with the mustache.
It’s pretty much my main job now
the tim burton biopic
The makeup and like the scars
top movie
There’s a lot of people who genuinely don’t really know the full story behind
they dont make one like this anymore
Ed Wood is probably better, but this comes close!
I remembered I hated Jim for ruining Edward’s life!!!!
I cry to during edward sciorr✂️🖐
He’s scary as hell real talk
Long Beach Ca??
💘💘💘
What happened
Metaphor for social outcast people…
You deserve all the love in ghe world💖💖💖
When the movie ends I laugh, because a man with scissors on hands? No way. Impossible! What was Tim thinking lol
Just like a magic school in Hogwarts, vampires in Twilight. Ghosts in Ghostbusters, talking mouse in Stuart little, talking animals in jungle book. It's called a movie u idiot or do you think that there is a real school where kids go to learn magic and fly on their brooms to play quidditch. Cynical idiots like you think dat u are some sort of special and edgy by posting such comments but what you don't realise is that in the end all it conveys is the fact that you are totally unoriginal and have nothing substantial to offer in any conversation or situation you try so hard to be a part of...
He was probably thinking that intellectually defuct people wouldn't get this movie.
I thought it didn’t make sense that the inventor would have given Edward a brain before he finished his hands. But now seeing how A.I. generates art always ends up with hands that look like a thalidomide baby’s I think this was ahead of its time.
It’s a good movie But the ending is terrible
I liked the film, it was an interesting concept but I thought it was stupid and it made me feel no emotion at all.
because you dont have emotions
@jonverse651 perhaps Amber Heard was right when she said that JD convinced the world that he had scissors for fingers 😆
I have a TH-cam channel and I upload mw2 content whenever I can
