Thanks for the upload. Not everyone is a brand ho and I’m certainly buying something half the price if it’s as good as the “original”! I got a dirt bike and family that take the rest of my money so cheaper with similar quality works perfect for me 😬🤙🏽
I tried 8 similar packs from Amazon and they were all SHIT. I have a Hill People chest pack now. Simply EXCELLENT. Buy cheap stuff when your life DOESN'T depend on it! 😇👍
@@ArtUnlimited I hear you on that one. Buying stuff on Amazon is definitely hit and miss. A more miss than anything. Sometimes it's better to go for something that's proven quality right off the bat. I'm not sure I'd buy a chest pack for an EDC situation but I can see where it can be useful. I looked into the Hills People brand and it looks like they make some great stuff. Just a little expensive for my taste. Any other ones you'd recommend I'd appreciate it.
@@JoJo-pg1kqfunny thing is that I found me a decently priced waist pack on Amazon that happens to be 5.11, so yeah I’m not gonna turn down a good deal on a good brand either! 🤙🏽
Great video and demonstration. I like both, as well as other types they make and numerous other brands, for this type of use. I’m going with 5.11 on this one. Currently waiting on my 5.11 Survival Chest pack. Any reason you went with the utility as opposed to the survival?
On your 511 Skyweight Chest Kit how did you setup the concealed carry holster? I just bought the chest kit but am having a hard time trying to figure out how to put a right handed retention holster in it. Wish there was molle on each side.
Modern striker fired pistols don’t need safety’s with their trigger weights in order to be safe when they are holstered. I currently don’t have a handgun with a safety on it
@@severshoots thanks, I have the survival pack my kydex holster is held with Velcro but a bit loose, I am only carrying my pistol and no loose items, say it bounced around in my empty pack in the holster, could the bouncing cause a discharge? I’m sorry if this is a stupid question
@@Keeganfitness definitely not a stupid question. Bouncing around shouldn’t cause discharge if it’s holstered. But the concealed carry compartment in this pack is tight enough that it shouldn’t ever be an issue
@@severshoots ok thanks so much, my holster is very tight so I have to tug it out fast to get it out could pulling my pistol out of the holster fast cause the trigger to get pulled back and fire by the jerking/ pulling movement?

This could be wrong, but if I remember correctly the utility is bigger than the survival. I wanted to be able to fit more gun in it.

FHF you really need to look for those zipper pulls, therefore 511 wins with the quick tab.
Ya…. Honestly…. The pull tabs are kinda hard to find sometimes too 😂
Idk why a chest pack for cc wouldnt have that tbh, its a must have imo
