In the last few months I've been using A chest rig and I've come to a decision that these chest packs can be incredibly useful. Sure you may get a odd look when wearing as your grocery shopping but these packs are absolutely useful.

That chest rig overall looks very functional and excellently made.
Concept is on point. My hillpeoplegear chest rig is one of my most used pieces of kit.
Never owned an HPG kit bag, but heard great things about them. The idea here was to make a fully modular kit bag for all purposes, even tactical.
I’m very happy with the kit bag I got for Xmas. My only concern is I can’t figure out how to set up the main compartment retention string. Is there a video tutorial for that?

Bastion gear’s kitbags can be purchased with water proof zippers. Definitely first i have seen with a hook panel on the back to attach to other chest rigs

@@fulltangtactical definitely like the feature of adding the mag insert to allow for that function if attached to a plate carrier. I myself do enjoy my snubby from Hill People Gear as to allow for a concealed firearm so that when I’m hiking with my family I have protection and easily accessible without the discomfort of it on my hip while wearing a backpack or child carrier. Yours looks fantastic for a whole other purpose
@@thundercell13 working on some accessories, a divider for the main pouch, and an insert pouch with a zipper on top for the back panel pouch area. Also, a triple mag insert that can also be used as a standalone chest rig or placard. Fully modular kit system all in one package coming soon.
Actually just got done making my own woodland x50 xpac chest kit! Really digging how similar our shoulder strap design is except I used g hooks. Gave myself a full 5 columns & 4 rows of molle on my harness back & 6 columns on the front! I really would like to know how you made that insert too.

Thanks. I've used HPG backpacks before, great quality and well thought out functionality and insane comfort. In fact, I'd say HPG beats Mystery Ranch in the idea of making bag-only options for their Decker Frame Pack, vs. Mystery Ranch that tells you, "sorry, you must buy another entire pack system then sell your extra frame on eBay!"
Loving that chest rig, great idea to have lazercut molle on the h harness. I have a few chest bags in my collection and one I use for climbing towers in the refinery so I can access my tools fast. I'm out in the PNW it rains a lot and go hiking/shooting. This would be awesome to replace my hill people recon.
I use it myself for everything. Taking it trout fishing today!

Awesome kit. Exactly what I’ve been looking for. Currently using hillpeople and they’re stuff is great but I’m diggin your shoulder harness and mag expansion, and plate carrier integration. Will it fit a full size pistol inside?
Yes actually it will fit quite a bit inside of the main pouch, and we are also releasing a rear zippered pouch that integrates in the rear kangaroo pouch, along with optional mag inserts.

What backpack is that. Just ordered one today. Great idea and is something i will use.
That's the agilite amap iii pack. Highly recommend it. It shrinks down to 8 l flat so you can attach it to a plate carrier, and expands to almost 20 l if you want to use it as a small EDC or day pack. I use it for everything.

I like your videos, but I get under the impression that your stuff looks like a copy of Helikon-Tex products or Direct Action?
Nothing like either of those companies. Also, I'd say Direct Action looks like a copy of Crye JPC. This products is one of a kind, neither of those companies have anything like this. In fact, I don't know of anyone else that has a fully modular kit bag like this.

@@oleole27 The Helikon doesn't attach to plate carriers and convert into a standalone tactical chest rig like ours does. Ours is modular and serves three different purposes.
