One word? TIMELESS! ELVIS was a gift for the ages. A hologram transported ELVIS from his 1968 Comeback Special & planted him "as is" on stage in 2007 without changing one single thing about him or his performance . . . and the audience is still blown away. My thanks to Celine for this "2007 Elvis Comeback Special" performance proving ELVIS, the King, still reigns.
little Richard: "Elvis Presley has done more for us than any politician in the world"! Chuck Berry to a journalist: "Should I say something about Elvis Presley? Elvis is the greatest, Elvis will always be the greatest. There will never be anyone greater than Elvis Presley"!
SO GLAD YOUR DOING THIS REATION... WHO TO DO THIS WITH THIS TECHNOLOGY IS THE GREAT CELINE DEON.. SHE ALWAYS ADMIRED HIS WORK , SHE SAID LISTENING TO HIS MUSIC ALSO HELPED HER LEARN ENGLISH. GOD BLESS BOTH. THANK YOU MY FRIEND ❤
Jane H commenting …. Thank you so much for Reacting to this incredible performance of Elvis’ 68 Comeback Special …. & then decades later Celine Dion singing with him on stage …. One word to describe it, Magical ….. I would have said Supercalifragilistic, but not sure if that is the correct spelling. Just amazingly clever, & I can imagine that younger Elvis fans might be able to see him performing ‘live’ on stage in Las Vegas in the not too distant future. And not only our beloved Elvis, but Prince, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin .. & all those artists that left way before they should have. But can you imagine being able to go & see Elvis in concert again?? Wow!! The technology is there, but I imagine it’s very expensive. I know there are going to be fans who will say it’s sacrilege to put someone else singing with Elvis, but I think it’s incredible that this can be done, & fans of Celine, who might not ever have thought of watching Elvis perform, might now start to do so. It can never be a bad thing to raise awareness of Elvis as a performer & his amazing voice. I’m all for encouraging new people to begin exploring Elvis, & that is how we will keep him alive. I’ve been a big fan of Elvis for almost sixty years now, & I have no problems with sharing him with others, in such a positive way.
There’s a collaboration where Elvis is singing Blue Christmas (1968 comeback, black leather) and Martina McBride duets with him. Not a hologram, just tv magic.
@@KathyHarze Totally Totally agree with all my heart and soul!!!! No one will ever come anywhere near Elvis - and that song belongs to Elvis and Elvis alone !!!! Thank You.
Celine was always a big fan of Elvis, her husband as well. And as we all know the vocal caliber of Celine's voice, she could have outshined him if she wanted to, i mean Celine is the one who stood toe to toe with the Great Aretha on a gospel vocal jam. Yet she did this humbly, without going extra, in respect of Elvis and his genius. You don't need to be bitter about it.
@@stefeuphoria6086can't compare an audio version of Elvis' vocal power to that of someone singing live....plus, Elvis could outsing anyone when he put his mind to it. He was the one who usually tempered his vocal power so others could shine.
Hi there, I love your Elvis reactions. I feel that this song 'If I Can Dream' belongs to Elvis Presley and to Elvis Presley alone - it is an Elvis classic - it cannot be changed or improved in any way. I actually feel that way about all songs Elvis sang - because once he sang a song it became his own. It is just my humble opinion. Celine did a good job in the Titanic song in the 1997 Titanic movie - that is her classic song. Thank you so much for your reaction . Yes the hologram thing was amazing but it made me feel very sad somehow. I guess I just don't want Elvis hologramed anywhere because he stands just great on his own.
well thats the point here. she wasn't giong to overshadow elvis! Hes the king of vegas, and she is the queen. this was how celine is when does duets. she lets other artists shine
@@KathyHarze Yes exactly, that is just the whole point - no one can do that song with Elvis it cant be done it is just wrong.- it is an Elvis classic - it can not be improved in any way. No offence to Celine - she did a good job on the Titanic song in the 1997 Titanic movie.
Elvis Presley is the greatest singer of all time and to tamper with one of his songs is in my opinion unacceptable. Improving an Elvis Presley song is impossible and not necessary at all, even if it is Celine Dion.
Thank You, very well said - I could not agree more!!!! No one compares to Elvis, No one !! That is just the way it is . You know once he sings a song he makes it his own and I do not even like it when someone else sings it. Yes, to tamper with any one of Elvis' songs is wrong and this song especially as it is is an Elvis classic.
They used someone else when showing Elvis from the back. Either way it was brilliant the way it was done. But you could feel that power and more sincerity from Elvis in this song.
Hey my friend,, first of all it’s not a hologram. The man on stage is an Elvis stand in. If you notice the video part, they never show Elvis and Celine’s face up close together. If you research it , there is a video on you tube on how they pulled it off. That is the real Elvis from the 1968 come back special. It is a very good performance, but it’s nothing more than tv special effects. Look it up. Thanks TCB
Would you go to a show, or at least think a little of watching and listening to a show with these artist's: Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Freddie Mercury (Queens singer) Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley, would you go to watch and listen to them if you could ??? I know that I would for sure, but would you???
As usual, love your reaction. But I hate this "performance." First of all, I do like Celine a lot but she went out of her way to outshine Elvis. This is his song, sung in 1968 when this country was in a great deal of turmoil. I know, I lived it. I know you've reacted to Elvis alone singing If I Can Dream. The strength, power and raw emotion he put into his rendition shouldn't be tampered with. It represented a time in history and this man's feelings about that time. Maybe one of the lighter songs, but not this one. Although I know this is a hologram, the whole AI thing worries me. I watched an AI Elvis singing and most of the people in chat thought it was really Elvis. That's just all kinds of wrong.
What a dream....if only Elvis was really here 💯⚡❤️
MAGNIFICENT ❤

I loved it only because by Dion doing this with Elvis opened up a whole new generation to his music.

My favourite Elvis Presley song is ‘Without Him’. This song is my theme song. It describes my life.
Hi from Dublin Ireland thanks he will always be the King 👑
Magical 💞💞
So magic and beautiful,,,made me tear up....awesome job.
It must be amazing to watch a show with an Elvis hologram.
Love how you enjoyed this video!
Thank you for all you do for us Elvis fans!💚☀️
Its called PRO.🌹❤️
This recording of Elvis was exactly 9 months before Celine Dion was born!😊

this was amazingly put together. Naturally Dion was born the very year he sang this song 1968. The power of AI it was crazy good Thanks man.
Stunning! Powerful! Just WOW! Hope you're ok. ❤
👌👌👌👌👌
Just my opinion this song shouldn't be messed with yes she was great but this song belongs to the King alone!

It’s supposed to look like Elvis is standing there. This performance was from 1968 but it wasn’t even made 15 years ago.
Great Reaction 👍🙏💯😎
Awesome on the hologram but it's still just Elvis's song for me thank you
Me too!
She's got a good voice but it's his song always will be to me glad you think so too 😃💯

I wasn't keen on that. That was Elvis's song that he sang from the heart. Celine didn't.

They used Ryan Pelton as body double. He is a ETA so he does Elvis all the time.
