One thing to respect about Demetri is that even if his newfound karate skills, he's still the most rational kid in the show and is the least likely to get involved with conflicts. While he can be socially awkward, Demetri is rarely intimidated. He stood up for Eli when Johnny was bullying him. He wasn't intimidated by Kreese and refused to take down his Yelp review when threatened by Hawk.
I feel like he’s still intimidated by Kyler. I think Demetri stood up to Kyler once like a long time ago, but after that he got scared because Kyler did something that made him scared of him (if that makes sense)
In Season 5, I want to see Demetri use his tech-savvy skills again, maybe to find information on Mike Barnes. It would be nice to see him interact with Chozen.
To go back and see Demetri from where he started to where is now not only speaks volumes to the brilliant writing, but the genius of Gianni DeCenzo's acting ability.

Since Miguel has already kicked his ass twice and Hawk beat up his friend Brucks I thought Demetri fighting Kyler in the tournament would not only be a refreshing take on the season it would even improve Demetri's character arc in season 4. It would also be a total surprise and a welcome one if he actually beat Kyler in the tournament as Kyler has bullied Demetri just as much as he bullied Miguel and Eli so it would make sense if Demetri beat Kyler in the tournament.

Demetri has really improved. I really like him I think he's funny and very underrated. In a way he's a great guy I really love how. He helped Hawk get back into Miyagi DO I also enjoy how he helped Hawk aka Eli I also how how they reconnected in season 3.

Demetri's chances in a future tournament would definitely increase if Chozen taught him the pressure point techniques. If he hones his ability to anticipate his opponents moves even more, he could be a very effective counter striker. He was unable to land any point strikes with Robby, but I can see him managing to hit his legs and arms pressure points before going in for a point hit. He wins with skills rather than strength.
Demetri went from being my least favorite character to one of my top 3 ( up there with Johnny and Miguel) in just one season. Say what you will about season 3, but Demetri’s arc was phenomenal, and it was even better in season 4. I can’t wait to see where he goes in season 5.

Demetri has had a lot of growth over the past seasons and what was best about his development that made it so different from the others is that it was a real growth and not a change at all. He gained a lot especially in terms of bravery and self confidence. He is the only one of the students that truly understands and follows down to the letter the Miyagi Do teachings and philosophies especially in terms of forgiveness, friendship and only fighting when it's necessary, when you have no other choice. Mr. Miyagi would be honored and proud to have him on his team because if anything he's very similar to Mr. Miyagi and is the true Miyagi Do kid.

Because any time you have two men/boys wanting to date the same girl/woman you're going to fight over her. Plus if they had acted differently it wouldn't have mattered because Sam was still Sam meaning her actions is what sparked their rivalry. And Sams rivalry with Tory from the moment Sam jumped to conclusions accusing Tory of stealing her moms wallet..

Bro, I kid you not, Demetri was the most intolerable, geeky character in CK in S1. He has become a lot more tolerable as the show has progressed, but I still feel like punching him in the face sometimes due to his geekiness.
I like Demetri do not buy for one second that he made it to the semifinals. Frankly he just doesn't have the talent. Demetri is more of a Krillin than a Piccolo.

I actually don’t like where the show is going in seasons 3 and 4, everybody can’t be sympathetic. This has nothing to do with Demetri but what should have happened was Miyagi-Do won the tournament and Johnny got Cobra Kai back but Silver betrayed the promise instead of LaRusso. When he did that not knowing they were cheating he dampened all that I thought of him. If the show is called Cobra Kai you would expect them to be the protagonists instead of the sympathetic antagonists. I find it hard to root for anyone because of all the hate and sympathy I fell for each character.(Except for Johnny and Miguel of course.)
As someone who had to put in work to be better at talking to girls and who wasn’t always muscular Dimitri aggravates me he’s not relatable like the writers want him to be Miguel is a better example of a nerd becoming a cool person and is far more relatable even when he was a nerd he was still likeable Dimitri has never been likeable I hope his character gets written off although it probably won’t happen
