Glad you guys had a nice day to go out for a fun run around the skatepark. Beats hiding in the car park to avoid the rain! LOL! The lunchie sure did take a lot of tumbles and kept on trucking!

Surprisingly -
No broken body posts, no broken chassis around the servo mount, no broken shock mounts on the rear diff, and not even any broken wheels this time! 😉
Do Autoglass come out to rc windscreens? 🤔
And to top things all off, it wasn't raining either!!

Believe me we were so surprised that nothing major occurred. We did have a bit of squeaky bum time when it lost drive but the Chief Engineer must have had a bad day when soldering this motor, and was able to just hook the wire on and it still took a further kicking. Tamiya Tough indeed. Bit of tape on the windscreen and glue Terry McCann back in and it’s ready to go again, and again 😂👍👍

Great stuff guys. The Lunchbox always holds up pretty well but the screen is clearly a weak point 😁
Bit of tape and it will be brand new. We are experimenting in not replacing but just fixing anything that gets broken, for science! 😂🤣👍

Gold edition was awesome, do it yourself with some gold leaf, just don’t expect to go on holiday that year 🤣😂👍

Ooh you guys are braver than me with jumps where the landing is concrete 😬 Maybe a lexan basher shell would be an idea for these skate park sessions? I think you have a 1/10 mini shell and they fit on a Lunchbox and are quite rounded so withstand a fair beating. Best wishes chaps 😁
We do have a couple of lexen shells for the Lunchboxes but for science it’s good to see what these shells can take, as well as the running gear. They are tough vehicles and I’m sure we will experiment again 🤣😂👍
Wow it handles really well on the track very impressed still haven’t started mine yet it’s a black edition not sure to keep it black or go with luminous orange or yellow look 👀
That’s the great thing with them, you could do it any colour, then after a year just paint it again. My main Lunchbox has had 3 paint jobs now, I’m sure it will have 3 more before I know it 😂🤣👍
