Luckily the Mini body from 3rd parties is pretty good and you can get a few different models and shapes 👍

I hope you are enjoying your holiday, and the weather is good. I know the summer you see lots of cars packed full usually crawling along a motorway. I do think the Lada was the subject of many jokes, but in fairness they had an ok build quality 👍

@@RCsoandso I saw a tuned one on a car channel. It had a nissan turbo engine and a spoiler with air outlets. They had a cooler in the trunk. It was white with black wide fenders black bumpers black grill and white bbs rims with a difficult German tüv. After weeks I got hold of 4 most drift rims and painted them white. Purchased a 9€ 3d file of that Lada and put in some workouts to design that spoiler on it and tuned it wider. These rims are changeable in how wide they look out of the axle. Was very important. So that was my first and maybe for a time last 3d printed body. Iam very slow but I did start a video.

I’ve been tempted with the world of 3D printing myself, but I feel I might become a Doctor Monroe type creating all kinds of abominations 🧌

Saw the newest one on the Autobahn two days ago on a Transport. The last facelift was already awkward but the new back looks not good (I deleted mean words from my vocabulary 😆) Oh a pikes peak 205 or was it a 206 this would be awesome 😂 Or a 406

My brother-in-law is a huge mini fan, and is one of those people that strip and build his mini every year, I think he has 3 now, but for mini and some RC stuff he is on instagram under LB.MINI I forgot about the Nova, if they did one I would love it if they did the saloon version! I need to finish my Escort shell but that’s for a special project. Imagine if the did a Carlton Lotus for the TT02. 🤣😂👍

I have a mk2 bubble arch Escort shell/body posts that will be going on a CWO1, a project I have lined up for the Autumn. So many good eighties hot hatches that Tamiya should release to.... 205/309GTI,Astra GTE, Nova SRI, XR2/XR3....... the list goes on! But, I suppose part of the beauty of this hobby is to be able to get creative with aftermarket body shells, and create our own models that utilise a pre existing Tamiya chassis. So, if Tamiya doesn't bring out what we want, we will just build our own!! 👍 😊

Thankfully 3rd party shells can fill a gap, but some do not have Tamiyas standards when it comes to finish, but sometimes you Strike it Lucky 🤣😂👍

That sounds like a great day, I’d say motors and ESCs failing is nothing really to do with the Lunchbox, as these beauties are hardcore! Keep on bashing👍

I do keep thinking of the metal chassis, I’m really tempted with one, and it would make it bomb proof! Metallic blue is a great colour, is it the TS one? 🤔👍

The metal chassis has all of the upgrades available for an absolutely bomb proof rc, well worth it if you have the funds to purchase all of them, which sadly I don’t have! 🤓

Yes I think it would be cheaper to put a Lunchbox shell on a Terminator 😂👍

We do have a couple of the lexan ones but as you say the detail is a bit vague, definitely more like a jelly mould 🤣😂👍

They are proper work horses. The yellow one we have is held together by goodwill only at this point, but it still powers on. Lunchboxes have a lot to give 🤔👍

Yes I do like it much more. We are away filming this weekend, and are planning a tour with the MF01X so I’m sure I can get that out with a bit of info on the chassis 🤔👍

I will say they have a very low chassis and the beetle shell sits low also, so try and find somewhere vey flat and free of debris 👍

I have seen that they are planning that, I do have to say though our Rally Beetle Tour Guide is more for comfort than speed….. The Jimny we have though, well that’s a different story 🤫😂👍

I’m glad I did the camouflage as it hides a lot of sins including future issues, and we had the ramp, so what the hell. I would say replacing bits with aluminium is fine, but when you get to the world of widening the chassis and so on, I think you need to look at a different model really. Some top tip videos just use it for an excuse to like in bits you don’t need, and over complicate them, but that’s a rant for another time 👍

He has a very busy career, and I think he was on the road with him 👍 the guy in the middle is the dad of the bloke from the 1975 also, for any pop fans out there

Yes thought I’d get a video out, so stand down we’re not quite at the weekend yet! Have you seen those pictures showing weather 20 years ago and it’s the exact same temperature but these days they colour it in warning red 🙄 The GT Tuned is a bit of a wet squib really, but it’s good to try all the motors in case we’re missing a gem. I don’t know why they don’t just plug the hole with a Trump style toupee 💇

Yes some models are like hens teeth, makes you think though there is a model shop somewhere stocked full of all these hard to find models. It’s just finding it 🤣😂👍
