    Always awesome vids by you guys, fav youtube channel by far. i think another HUGE trait that made this vid awesome and i think many people over look, the focus the guy holding the pads has. you can clearly see he's paying full attention. focus like that when you're on the learning side of things is not simple, but definitely worth aspiring to

      Hey, thanks for the really kind words and great comments! It is always brilliant to hear positive feedback and that people enjoy all the work that goes into this channel! I agree with you completely, pad work is a two way process and the fighter only gets the most out of it when the holder is both talented and working just as hard!!

    You are amazing!! precise, powerful strikes. I wish I could come train with you. I am tired of getting my ass kicked in sparring. I need a coach to make me real good and even the score. In fact there is a guy I want to find and fight him, and beat his ass!

    great video, just that if you want to do a step to the left body jab you have to stay your centre line with body bend to be off the opponent main direction, means move to at least 30 degrees to 45 degrees of opponent's angle

  • @superfoot53
    @superfoot53 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    Man, these combo are great, i see where you apply that body hook after the jab, different from a boxer would position himself, but I like how you apply that kick after the body body hook... good job..OSU!

    With the long body shot, aren't you more vulnerable for the cross or right hook.

    • @warriorcollective
      @warriorcollective  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Like anything, nothing is fool proof. In boxing you don't need to worry about the clinch or other weapons aside from the hands so the slip and level change are essential movements. In Muay Thai where those things are a threat, you have to weigh up risk versus reward hence why here the long body shot can often be more preferred to use. Thanks for watching and commenting, I hope you enjoyed watching it regardless!

    Is it not better to keep the combo up to 3 moves for simplicity?

    • @warriorcollective
      @warriorcollective  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could do but I think the framework here works really well and it is not that too complex. Try it, I think you will be surprised!

      memory combination training up to 15 moves so in a real situation u will be able to at least manage 3 or 4 moves

      +Stuart Tomlinson I'm the owner at Yokkao Malaysia and learned my muay thai mostly from Master Samart Payakaroon at Poptheeratham Gym bangkok.
      he's very picky about the form.
