What are the odds? Both teams trail by the same score at halftime and ended up coming from behind to win with the exact same score In the final seconds. In 1 million tries that doesn’t happen twice.

Not me. The Utes losing hurts us. It looks like we are very likely to beat them, but rivalry games are completely unpredictable, and we are playing at Rice Eccles. If we beat them, that win becomes less impressive because of this loss. If we don't beat them, that loss hurts a lot worse because they lost to TCU. I want Utah to win against everybody except us.

I don’t feel sorry for them at all. They put all there eggs in the Cam Rising basket and now they are living with the results. I am loving watching them flounder this year. They have got such big attitudes towards themselves that it is disgusting. They could have had a couple of QB’s from the transfer portal yet they stuck with Rising and Wilson and now they are living with it. They had Bryson Barnes who was a decent backup to Rising but let him go in the portal. It has all trickled down to the entire team. No one is listening to the coaches and it is showing. Whit teams have always been 100% in when they are winning but they will out of the blue loose a game they have no business losing. Happens every year. UCF included We shopped for a QB1 and QB2, neither has been spectacular. I’m confused why it’s been unanimously decided that Iowa St is above BYU. When you look at their schedules and results I really don’t see why this is the case, especially when BYU does have the most impressive win by far out of the two, and has 2 ranked wins under their belt.
3 main reasons: 1) Common opponents: BYU struggled with Baylor, but Iowa State destroyed them. If BYU destroyed UCF, it will look good for them. 2) Overall stats. ISU destroys BYU in PF/PA. 3) Iowa State started ahead of BYU, and voters will almost never drop an undefeated teams. It's not fair, but whoever starts higher will stay higher until they get an L. Ultimately, if they stay undefeated, they'll have their chance in the championship.

How similar the BYU v OKST, and ISU v UCF games were both having to come from behind in the last 90 sec. With the same score 38-35 and both BYU and ISU are still undefeated with 7-0 records. BYUs next opponent is @ UCF and have to be on their game in this one.
Last year Colorado ended with 6 straight losses. This year i think they have a good chance to end with 6 straight wins. They look heavily improved and I think they should be favored in their last 5 games. Even without getting into the Big 12 CG, them getting an at large playoff spot actually isn't that crazy to think about if they can go 10-2.

It’s so inconsistent. Having Iowa State go DOWN a spot after winning? I agree that top 10 teams should have a higher bar and close wins should sometimes drop you down a spot. But that doesn’t apply to penn state who squeaked away against USC or Miami with v tech and cal. I really don’t care if there are some metrics that influence the polls more than I think they should. The problem is the consistency. The reality is that the cfb ap poll is everything. We have to care about it

But I tried to warn Utah fans before the season that the Big 12 is a much underappreciated Conference and weren't going to be as easy to dominate as a lot of people thought. Poor Drake, still suffering under a conception that talent, effort and passion are what everyone cares about, and wants to watch. He is missing the point. The point is $$$'s. Corporate sponsors are paying Big10 and SEC teams a lot of money! So why are you surprised , Drake? They help funnel money behind social media and commercial "new" sources to tell the world who are the best teams. Of course they are hyping the teams they are already heavily invested in. The public doesn't really know or understand the game in many cases, they just tune in to what is being hyped on corporate funded broadcast channels, and corporate financed teams that we have been paying people to rate as the super powers of the sport. It is great to see how they fail, when it tries to translate to the NFL game. Maybe if we looked at where they played and how they were coached, we could understand how Mr. Irrelevant some how becomes the starting QB for the 49ers, and they go to the Super Bowl .
Enjoy what you have in teams like BYU, Iowa State, and Kansas State. There are teams playing their hearts out still playing out there. Enjoy what they are putting out. Then it is up to you to summarize this in bite size bits that capture the public with great stories. Come on big guy, we need you to get the real story out there.
