      They are a little stiff the first week but loosen up nicely.

      @@32srt32 I was using some red harbinger ones before coming from Powerlifting, just used the black WH for the first time last night on some clean pulls and they felt amazing, no pulling around my wrist or leaving marks + the ability to hold everything so much easier! Maybe you were used to all of that already but glad they got better for you too 😁

      ZT pussied out of weightlifting
      He never had the guts to become a super heavy weight. He wpuld have been brilliant (for an amateur). I reckon he could be c&jing around 200kg by now. But he always wanted to stay super lean and fit for dem viewaz

    Most impressive long limbed lifter in history was Syzmon Kolecki. 232.5 kg c&j at age 17, 94 kg at around 6"1. Was a WR at the time and when you factor in his age, height combined with his weight, its 1 of the greatest lifts of all time.

      @@WeightliftingHouse He went straight to mma after he retired from weightlifting. He gave Mariusz Pudzianowski of all people a good hiding when they met in the ring. Kolecki is an absolute freak of nature.

    There was a quick look at his back without a shirt at start of video.
    No traps or spinal erectors like David Rigert needed including light legs and arms.
    By 1973 a year after Olympic press was eliminated lifters started seeing pictures of what mags called muscless wonders.
    They don't win 1st place because low squat clean for jerk but are so impressive, wonders upon wonders snatch ability.

      It happens whenever a French lifter makes an impressive lift. Which im guessing either they aren't being recorded or they aren't happening.

      @@32srt32 more likely the latter... with the retirement of Manushi, Benjamin Hannequin or V Dabaya, there just isn’t any top level weightlifter left in our country. Not a mainstream sport here unfortunately

    Where do you have the data that the russian's target's to snatch 60% of their backsquat from? Do you have the % for what they target for in the clean and jerk also?

    How do you build your abductor and quad strength for snatching?

      Not specifically for snatching
      But copenhagen plank for adductors,
      Banded work and hip abduction
      Heels elevated goblet squats and leg extensions...

    Wtf, his deadlift max is the same as mine (probably less as ive done 190kg x 10 reps at my peak so my dl max should be more than 230kg) yet I wouldnt be able to even snatch half of 192kg.
