No, thank you for making this video and bringing back a bit of my childhood. Games used to be different back then. They used to mean something and tell amazing stories that made you want to cry or jump out of your seat, and that’s exactly what I felt watching all of this again
Damas' death was the saddest moment in the entire trilogy.

Giving Jak a voice was one of the best creative choices Naughty Dog has ever done. So badass and gave his character so many layers
"Find yourself, Jak!" wow they subtley gave a spoiler
It's always cool to see in six how samos knows everything from how it happened and how he says "find yourself jak" he really meant find his younger self
Yeah, he's a wise. Of course he didn't forget anything what happened in Haven City after they traveled to the past. It's weird how Jak forgot everything what happened and didn't recognize Haven City when he came back again. But Samos holded this big secret for years till they went back to the future/present whatever
@@mrdardon3463 I mean Jak was a kid when he left and he was probably 4 so of course he'd forget it was 11 years and Samos was an adult by then so he wouldn't forget.
When jak said "father" just brought back so many memories and a tear to my eye. This trilogy is the greatest i've ever played

Yup, Samos was actually from the future the whole time
One of my favorite scenes is in Jak 2 when they go to retrieve the plant for the younger Samos and they find the old beat up hut and realize they are in the future. That was a really big plot twist imo

Jak 1 > Jak 3 > Jak 2 > Jak X > Daxter > TLF
JAK 1 = wonderful adventure and colorful game
JAK 2 : too much pursuits with krimzon guards (still got the music looping in my head), and too much hard levels, not enough adventure, too much action, but whatever. It's a great game with a good story.
JAK 3 : Haven City is still here but in war, palace and stadium are destroyed.. But we have spargus, a great and new little city, a huge desert, cars, more weapons, light jak, the mystery of precursors explained, the real father of Jak, more details about Mar, and a lot more than in any other Jak and Daxter Game. Probably the best for me or one of the best Jak and Daxter.
But as it's said above, the first game needs more love. I discovered Jak&Dax by The Precursor Legacy, and it was a revelation for me. The first game have something magical that the other games didn't have. So yeah, TPL is the best.
I forgot how much i love these games. Just seeing a few cutscenes from them makes me remember just how great they were.

In the entire trilogy, Veger is truly the cruelest and most despicable villain. Sure the others were planning to destroy the world, but that's typical, but Veger took Jak from Damas and throughout this game constantly insulted and belittled him while knowing the truth, and he thinks himself worthy of being a Precursor
If I made a spoof of The Lion King (1994), Veger would be perfect as Scar.

Oh Daxter, always has his mind on the most important details, like how they have pants and he doesnt.
favorite part was when jak meets the henchman guy and he shoots at jak, then without missing a beat "get your skinny ass over herr and start shooting!"

Here's something I don't like in the first Jak and Daxter game you only get to see the other Eco Sages towards the end of the game and then you never see him again

Imagine if Dax was still in his normal design rather than his precursor/ottsel form

That Jak X opening is seriously one of the best I've seen, and Queens of the stone age sells it hard.
Also the subtle hints of the endgame plot that you notice during the opening of Jak II, "so this is how it happened", Samos referring to how the Metalheads got into their world in the first place.
However, if I could criticise a little, I'm bummed you didn't have the slo-mo hero walk and Ashelin kiss from Jak 3.
I had no idea that game was so real. I wanna play it now.

Jak X's intro was always such a pump up
Some special moments that come to mind, in no particular order:
Unlocking blue eco source in Forbidden Jungle
Returning to the place where Daxter turned into an ottsel
Surviving the Fire Canyon
Discovering the Lost Precursor City
Getting the hidden battery of the volcanic crater (next to the Spider Cave)
Escaping the Fortress
Draining the sewers with the jerboard
All of the Mountain Haven missions (beautiful music and atmospher,e)
Mar's Tomb
All Temple missions (especially the first one, flying to the volcano)
Flying KG factory mission
Going back to Haven City
Last boss
Destroying the Metal Head Nest
All the stuff about the Dark Makers

The opening to Jak X made the game seem better then what it really was

These are truly some of the greatest moments ever...
I kept telling myself while watching that I hope the No. 1 moment wouldn't involve Damas' death... :'( But great video nonetheless! Makes me excited for the PS4 remasters! :D
damas's death was ddefinitly one of the saddest but imo the best was the final cutscene ftom jak 3 or at the very least, the best mission

The Jak games, even the rather odd fifth one, just don't get as much love as they deserve.
I was never very good at them, but Jak X was the first game I bought with my own money, and the first I ever beat...
Though I never did unlock all the collectables. It was fun, though! I'd love to see a fully remastered version of the series!

Yeah that theory is kind of up in the air people say Jak is Mar or his Heir but I hope Naughty Dog makes a Jak 4 to clear things up.

1 thing I never understood:
Why didn't the just make more light eco to restore Daxter?
Plot hole.
Not really when you think about it since it required all for the 4 to be present surrounded by dark eco. Making it less a plot hole in more a major safety issue. The cinematic symbolism being that essentially the for purifying the darkness.
Basically akin to doing experiments with open supplies plutonium present and no real protection against it

There are multiple theories about if Jak is the true Mar, or if he is just named after him, because it could have just been Damos keeping the Mar family name alive by naming his son Mar, or Jak could eventually go into the past when Mar was around and become the true Mar that way. It has never been confirmed though, and we are still left to just wonder.

I think it's logic and fun, you prefer that daxter died in the fist cinematic of the fist game? That would ruin the entire story
@@therivaldi8567 What makes it cheap is there was nothing alluding to it other than company Animal mascot status he inherited from Crash Bandicoot. If Dexter developed independent Eco sage like powers prior to the reveal it would’ve been less cheap.
