    This was a very down to earth realistic description that I agree with.
    Tired of the «million of ideas» description I see everywhere. I dont even feel like I have ideas…I have thoughts…Same ones I have always had. Others call them ideas sometimes.
    Many days I dont really have that many new original thoughts. Certainly far from «a million». Maybe 3-5 on a good day. I do believe myself to be an IEE. And I dont like any of the «timetravel, space etc» stuff Ne doms supposedly are so interested in.
    My best skill in my opinion is to help others who are creatively stuck. Or just stuck…in life or work-things…I zone in on who they are and what they want, and give them suggestions, notice their reaction to those suggestions, and adapt/change them until we hit the bullseye. I can do this all day long.
    I also think I cross-contextualize a lot. When someone explains something I find «similar» examples from something in my life, or something I have read or heard from someone else. Others dont always see the similarity or agree that this is related. My partner (ILI) used to think by going to a different topic that I ignored what she said, when I was actually responding and making conversation and in my opinion only used the new topic to give an insight into the topic we had been and still were dicussing.
    Anyways, very good video porcupinejason!

      I relate a lot to that last part about going to a different topic in order to add something to the original tooic

      "I zone in on who they are and what they want, and give them suggestions, notice their reaction to those suggestions, and adapt/change them until we hit the bullseye. I can do this all day long." Yes great comment, I'm realizing how Ne + Fi this is, as well as noticing when someone isn't being who they are or doing what is true to them.

    Socionics does so much better of a job of REALISTICALLY delineating the traits of Ne vs Se than MBTI. Like actual people, not just conceptual people, can be seen with these definitions. Again, great content 👍

    Wow yes. This is a lovely take on us. Ironically though I am currently in the manic pixie dream girl phase for now but ever since about 16, I've felt the the tug towards maturity but never quite as much as everyone.
    I feel like Ne users tend to try to balance the scales of peoples views and since people are often pessimists we can come off as optimists when we might in fact be the most disappointed in the world

    Thank you this helped, I've been on a journey considering IEE for myself (for a lot of reasons...especially when I look at my cognition and intertype relations), but I don't fit all the stereotypes and am considered more of a social introvert in MBTI....also never dyed my hair purple ;) Really didn't consider an extraverted type before and like you said yes, lol I could come up with a million reasons why I'm not this type or talk myself into a few types.
    I'm never NOT curious or looking into new things and could happily do this a lot by myself, although I do like being able to talk about them with someone, too. "Looking into these ideas and concepts for the sake of it." Spot on, although part of me does wonder if I can use this down the road for something useful...the Te valuing part, maybe.

    Really cool video, it’s possible for an INTP be ILE in Socionics?

    • @PracticalSocionics
      @PracticalSocionics  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. They are from the same Quadra and use the same elements

    Really enjoying your content, man. You've got a good grasp of socionics. Do you have any takes on the reinin dichotomies you've shared/want to share?

    • @PracticalSocionics
      @PracticalSocionics  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure, they’re not that important 🤪. Keirsey had the right idea with simplifying things to get the most “cash value”

      @@PracticalSocionics Ah I was asking if you had any content on it but I guess that answers that. As I've come to understand them, they're in large part responsible for the flavors of the different quadras in socionics so I'm confused by you saying they're not important in type.

    • @PracticalSocionics
      @PracticalSocionics  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@wearejungians I could comment on them, but I often find that they’re not necessary and can form a lot of confusion.
      I suppose I’ll discuss them directly in the future for those interested.

      For starters you could tell that I’m a “results “ and not “process” type.

      @@PracticalSocionics I look forward to that. I'm currently working on my understanding of them and think they're quite fruitful in helping people come to a conclusion of their type if they're REALLY at a crossroad between certain ones. Take that with a grain of salt
