You do not have to cut the radio mount bar out of the car just do not over tighten the mounting screws for the new screen mine is fitted with the bar still there
Not all models are the same. Mine has a very thick heat sink and the cut was necessary to install the radio
My car has the Start/Stop feature in an ECO-Button which i cant see anywhere in this video. I cant find one Single Android Radio with this button on it.
How did you make camera beep, proximity sensor work? Are these installed sensors, or camera setting?

I've just installed one and have the same problem, my dashboard is now on chinese but the radio itself is in English. Have you managed to sort yours and if so how 😂

Sadly the air bag sine for the passenger isn't build in. So its not allowed in Germany, and you get problems with the TÜV
Where does the Sim card go? I got one which is installed already and I could not see any place to put a Sim card, planning on buying a dongle to plug into one of the USB that came with it.
I tried fitting mine today, screen wont turn on. any ideas ? Thanks a lot

@@danielhankey3682 turns out I just shorted a fuse while installing. Replaced the fuse and all is well. Look for the fuse box below your steering wheel. Check for the dead fuse using the car manual :) it's 04 I think

does that work with buick verano turbo 2.0L 2015? It has the same interior and on ali express and other websites it says opel astra/buick verano but i have yet to see a buick verano

Since installing the rear camera, my number plate lights have stopped working, and I get an error regarding the number plate lights when starting the car. Did you have any such problems? The bulbs themselves are fine and they are not fused so it is not a fuse issue. I believe they are controlled by the CANBUS.

I have the exact same one as you and had a few questions as my buyer doesnt understand what exactly Im looking for. I wanted to ask how you were able to put the AC functions on the bottom panel where it also shows the volume, as on my screen it only shows volume. Also, how were you able to change the logo on your screen, for me there is no way to do it and only one car shows.
One last issue I had is that when someone calls me, the screen has a nokia ringtone which automatically comes on, do you know if there is any way to turn this off.
I want to install this screen, but what about the button sport and tour?

This only works on basic Astra models, anything extra like VXR and stop/start won't work.
How do you solved about the airbag&seat belt spies, they don't seem to have a dedicated button on the new console...
I'm thinking of getting one of these but I will not be putting a sim card in it.
At the moment with my normal car stereo system I connect my phone via Bluetooth I can then use the call button on the steering wheel to access the recent calls on my phone and then call some one using the steering wheel.
Is that possible with this if I connect my phone to it via Bluetooth will it display my last calls off my phone or will it just show the calls made on the new device

Hi, I can't help you with this, the antenna worked right away for me.
if you have ECO button on original car, you will lose the ability to turn auto start/stop off. Also it doesn't fit OPC/VXR versions (we have too many buttons :D )
is there a make and model that will fit OPC 2013 Astra ?
Can you not use the one personalise button for eco ? He said for example sport ,that buttons same place as Eco version.
I own an Opel astra J Gtc and the installer told me that he can't install an aftermarket console like yours unless he moves the two buttons Sport and Tour. Which I don't like.
There's models that support these buttons now so the installer is talking rubbish

1) my sensors dont beep anymore just displays no sound to warn
2) my blinkers dont make the blinker tick tick noise.

Hi Keep Calm Channel. Great video. A question about the rear camera, how do I install that one? you mention on the video that there is no need to plug the red wire into the radio. But what do I then do with the red cable?
is not hooked up, in other cars it needs voltage in it to restore the view from the camera on the radio

I have just recieved the screen and I am installing it.
Two more questions: the ECO mode button and the antispin button, how are you controlling those after you have put in the screen?
Do you know if eco mode and antispin are turned ON everytime you turn on the car?

Does the parking sensor preview on the screen work?

My radio is 4gb 64gb 4g. CarPlay works fine, I had no problems with it.

The air conditioning panel is not detached, so there should be no problem with it yet. not all wires from the radio are connected.

where did you keep the USB port and the sim card slot? also, where did you mount the GPS and 4G antenna, please?
Place the sim card slot under the gearbox to have access to it, the GPS and 4g antenna are behind the radio so that you cannot see them.

At the beginning I also put it there, but after some time I hid it behind the radio and did not feel a large drop in range.

on the left side you have a free button, when buying, you need to write to the seller what you want to have there.
you can write to the seller, but the trim only allows 2 extra buttons for some versions of this navi because you already have hazard switch, lock/unlock doors switch and airbag status. Opc has OPC and Sport , + ECO if it has auto start/stop, and there is simply no room on the bottom frame to install so many buttons. Imagine if you have also have park sensors, it's an extra button. I ended up buying an unit which sits in the original screen place and connects to the original car radio but still runs android 10. It's a 7" screen with all the functions but keeps the original OEM look

if you ordered the radio with CarPlay, there is a separate cable to connect and enable the "ZLINK" application
