If you don't have access to the full Adobe Premiere you can always try Adobe Premiere Rush, which has a free version and has lots of the features that Premiere does. :)
Thank you so much for this video! I'm just starting my journey as the social media coordinator for our local track, and your tips have been incredibly helpful. We race 1/10th pan cars on a high-banked asphalt oval, but participation in this style of racing has been gradually declining. My goal is to change that by creating engaging videos and spreading the word about our events. Thanks again for the valuable insights-keep up the great work!
Perfect Timing! Just sat down for dinner and was looking for something to watch! Might have to do some of this myself but instead when I marshal just for fun!
As someone who's been racing moto since I was a kid I gotta say I think it's super cool you worked with aj cantanzaro I didn't expect to see you in his video but you definitely made me a subscriber because of that, keep up the great content man I enjoy your videos and appreciate your passion
As always Ryan thanks for the tips and tricks you share! I was a racer back in the days of the ranch pitshop with the losi boys when I was 12, and now I'm trying to get back into it many years later and all your videos are really helping. Thanks again and hope to see you for a driver clinic in so. Cal!!!
Thanks Ryan. These were some great tips for the gopro settings as well as the tweaks you make in post. I personally use an open source video editor because its free but I was able to find all the sliders to crop, sharpen and just manipulate in general. Thanks again
Great information, thanks for sharing! Happy to see the support rolling in and excited for more details on the classes. New England gets real nice as the summer rolls in if you want to take a break from the Florida heat and make a stop up this way, just saying 😁
This was great Ryan. Filming and editing can be a little intimidating. I'm sure you haven't even scratched the surface with Adobe Premiere Pro but thanks man.
I use all those settings but I run 30 to 60 fps using a 256gb SD card. I get 4 hours of record time. I use my phone to edit my videos. Power Director mobile is free but a paid option gives you more freedom to edit.
Recently pick myself up a Losi 1/8th Nitro and I’m so excited for my local nitro track to be up and running. I usually race 10th scale mod electric buggies, 2 and 4wd so do you reckon I made a good choice?
I love premiere pro... this was incredibly helpful. So simply. Thank you. Ironically enough, the gopro on the hat trick was also unusually helpful. :D Great explanation. What about audio? Do you ever have to worry about other drivers swearing or other sounds you don't want on a video? also, the clear watch is a good choice. My wife says Yellow watch, tho'.
hoi love the vids, but i would like an opinion about something, i prob going to buy a RTR team corally buggy but would you recomend to buy a kit for an SCT or an RTR for racing? i don't seem to find any descent SCT RTR?
Hey Ryan! How long does each GoPro battery pack typically last when recording and do you ever use the phone app to remotely control the camera? I have been setting up my camera at one vantage point of the track, and use the app to start and record each race. This seems to really drain the battery and I have unfortunately lost the opportunity to record a few of the Mains due to battery life. Any tips on extending life would be great! Thanks and great video as always!
So do you save and upload your videos in 4k to TH-cam, is that possible? My software saves in 1080p as the highest, wondering if I should upgrade my software as my camera will record in UHD 4K
Seconding this! They just released v17 (actually now v17.1), and it's a HUGE step up over v16. The free version is feature-complete and just blows my mind how capable it is (think Premiere Pro, After Effects, and a DAW in one app, all free). The Studio (paid) version adds some nice stuff like hardware accelerated video encoding, but is by no means necessary at all.
If you don't have access to the full Adobe Premiere you can always try Adobe Premiere Rush, which has a free version and has lots of the features that Premiere does. :)
Nice call Mark!
According to website: mobile version; Shoot edit and share for free, but only export 3 videos on the desktop version
You are the MOST underrated RC guy that helps the WHOLE community!!! Keep the videos coming!!!
Absolutely 100%. Let’s all show support on Patreon! Time is valuable!

Clear is classy and yellow is sporty 👍
This video felt very Peter McKinnon and I'm completely fine with that. Keep it up, my dude!
I like the clear watch, yellow looks good on a Porsche and TLR wheels.
Clear was definitely the right choice with the wardrobe. But that yellow one 🤩🥴
That clear one is dope brother 🤙🏼

Thank you for going over the go Pro settings that was very helpful!
Re: Casio Watches. I'm in the middle of a 5600/5610 obsession. I like the metal cases available on AlieExpress for them too.

Fantastic video. I haven’t forgotten about your training venture. Will be joining in soon. Had a cc issues and new ones r on the way from BofA.
Thanks for the info I just adjusted mine to your settings 🙂
the newer gopros actually have motors or servos in them stabilizing the lens like a drone gimbal .
you can actually hear them in some videos.
love your work mate, looking forward to all your future endeavors. more watch talk please!

@@RyanHarrisRC that's what I do, too. Coolio. :)
Great info 👍 👍👍
I love your videos! Is there a chance we can see some 1/8 soon ?
hoi love the vids, but i would like an opinion about something, i prob going to buy a RTR team corally buggy but would you recomend to buy a kit for an SCT or an RTR for racing? i don't seem to find any descent SCT RTR?

Hey Ryan, do you still use acetone to remove your tires? Are there any negative long term effects to the wheel itself?
Nice job👍🏻

Any one else noticing the mx gear and shirts Ryan is wearing
Wouldn't have even noticed your watch if you hadn't pointed it out lol.
I luv u

Wear them both.
How does your forehead look after wearing this cam hat for 30 mins? I am concerned as I have a natural youthful complexion
step 1: get a gopro
