Indeed. These ladies are something special. I often refer to them as "immaculate" live performers and I’m not necessarily talking about technical prowess. I mean they are pure in their energy, in their passion, in their joy, and in the synergy between themselves and, by extension, the crowd. All 3 of them have gobs of stage presence. Each one, in their own way, is absolutely riveting to watch. It's utterly unique to them as a band. Sister magic. I've never experienced anything like it in my life.

Dany (guitar) works hard to get the emotion correct that Pau (drums) was experiencing when she wrote this song... it is about a childhood friendship breaking up... basically the story is that someone said something like, "come hang out with us. that band thing won't go anywhere. why are you wasting your time?" well, you can imagine how that went over... Just pronounce her full name of Alejandra, and simply shorten it to Ale. Yep Pau is always into it. lol You want more of Dany AND Pau vocals, highly recommend "Disciple" , Dany and Pau sing co-lead. Also try "Dust to Dust" and "23" for Pau on lead vocals. All 3 from this same Teatro 2022 concert.
I'll say it first... Everything they do is total EAR CANDY!! This band of family is so amazing and loving to each other and their fans. I'm 52 and play several instruments since I was 6 years old and this band is my absolute number one favorite of all time. Can't wait for the new album. Peace and Love to you and family. This song was written by Pau after a friend wanted her to hang out and that they(the band) wouldn't go anywhere. The short version. You guys are becoming The Warning Army's favorite along with Ashlena and a couple of others. Not a lot. At least it is the official version. But there could be a little more to that which broke Pau's heart even deeper. That or she had a really good poetic imagination. Maybe both.
"when they combine their voices" - dany once said that she has a higher range but actually deep overtones while pau has high overtones, so both together are pleasing to your ears over the whole spectrum kinda ;P

What's evern more rewarding about supporting The Warning in their journey, is that they love their fans and it really shows! That was one of the first things I noticed, even at such a very young age they took care of their fans. It speaks volumes and about them as people, and about their family that reared them well.

One of the best imo - the song is perfectly composed, and these are some of their best lyrics, up there with Koolaid Kids, which is saying something for me.

Animosity is the song that hooked me to The Warning. It's so freaking full of energy and passion, pure rock, great performance, and, oh, the lyrics! So passionate. 🤘⚡🔥 As is Dani's performance whenever they play Animosity live on stage. She's so ferocious, she is into it. She means it as if she was the one disappointed by a friend (and not Pau). Theirs songs are Anthems!!! This is the first video I found when my friend told me to check them out about a year ago and I was hooked! Saw them LIVE last May and went to the meet and greet, they are such sweethearts in person but on stage they are totally in character...

Love watching their early years especially Ale base is taller than her and she having to reach up to the mic cause it can only go so low she was a tiny little girl she could hide behind the mic pole and now man all grown up time flies I love the TW
Just think of the city Los Angeles, then use the initials LA which phonetically should be close enough. LA - Ale - LAjandra - Alejandra. There really isn’t a correct analog in English for the Spanish J or Jota so the English letter H is an approximation. Since they’re all so polite I think Ale would respond to just about anything close? I’m contractually obligated to mention the amazing bass slide after the breakdown.
Ale: it's kind of like Al-eh (not -ay, if that makes sense). It's a shwa. If it was "ay" it would be "é" but it's just "e" so there's not that -ay sound. But one syllable, yeah? Yeah. She's THE BEST. Something I just learned - Ale wrote the song "Take Me Down" that was on their first EP ... ten years ago :)

Animosity was written by Pau when a childhood friend left her as she got busy with her musical journey. Dany had to ensure that she emoted Pau's anger, anguish & acceptance towards the end. Their songs seem real because most of them are based on personal experiences & feelings about today's world. A few words on musicianship here as the girls are among the finest exponents of their instruments technically. See how Pau defines each phrase of the song with subtle intelligent drumming. And Ale on the bass make it sound almost fretless with an extremely difficult high action style of play & perfect plucking to ensure the strings don't hit the fretboard. Like a stretched spring with recoil her bass drives the entire song through its various levels of frustration & anger to finally a closure of emotions. Every Warning song needs to be listened to with reference to lyrics, innate message & back story, if any. They are the most intellectual band to emerge in decades. Their profound metaphorical takes on today's society set them apart from the rest. Pau should have won so many literary laurels with her deep metaphorical poetry alone.
Yes!!! It’s Ah-Leh. You said correctly the first time. Finally someone actually engaged his f brain and figured out Ale is short for Alejandra. Every single reactor fails at this and so far you’re literally the only one that says it correctly (well, the first time, then your brain fell asleep and you reverted back to ally). Remember, it’s not in English, so trying to find an English pronunciation is pointless.

No; there isn’t an “Americanized” version; there’s the correct way of saying it and the incorrect way, period. Also, Pau isn’t pronounced as “pow”. It is Pah-ooh. Remember, I t’s not in English, and trying to pronounce them as English words is futile.

Witnessing The Warning always gives you chills, fills you with energy and moves you to tears. The beauty of their music is an impact on the soul and a shock on the heart, blowing away the brain. Just think of the city Los Angeles, then use the initials LA which phonetically should be close enough.
LA - Ale - LAjandra - Alejandra.
There really isn’t a correct analog in English for the Spanish J or Jota so the English letter H is an approximation.

Ale: it's kind of like Al-eh (not -ay, if that makes sense). It's a shwa. If it was "ay" it would be "é" but it's just "e" so there's not that -ay sound. But one syllable, yeah? Yeah. She's THE BEST. Something I just learned - Ale wrote the song "Take Me Down" that was on their first EP ... ten years ago :)

Animosity was written by Pau when a childhood friend left her as she got busy with her musical journey. Dany had to ensure that she emoted Pau's anger, anguish & acceptance towards the end. Their songs seem real because most of them are based on personal experiences & feelings about today's world.
A few words on musicianship here as the girls are among the finest exponents of their instruments technically. See how Pau defines each phrase of the song with subtle intelligent drumming. And Ale on the bass make it sound almost fretless with an extremely difficult high action style of play & perfect plucking to ensure the strings don't hit the fretboard. Like a stretched spring with recoil her bass drives the entire song through its various levels of frustration & anger to finally a closure of emotions.
Every Warning song needs to be listened to with reference to lyrics, innate message & back story, if any. They are the most intellectual band to emerge in decades. Their profound metaphorical takes on today's society set them apart from the rest. Pau should have won so many literary laurels with her deep metaphorical poetry alone.

Yes!!! It’s Ah-Leh. You said correctly the first time. Finally someone actually engaged his f brain and figured out Ale is short for Alejandra. Every single reactor fails at this and so far you’re literally the only one that says it correctly (well, the first time, then your brain fell asleep and you reverted back to ally). Remember, it’s not in English, so trying to find an English pronunciation is pointless.
@@danielmccormick3611 no she doesn’t. I’ve seen them 5 times and she never says ally. She pronounces it correctly. It might sound like that to you because you don’t speak Spanish. No; there isn’t an “Americanized” version; there’s the correct way of saying it and the incorrect way, period. Also, Pau isn’t pronounced as “pow”. It is Pah-ooh. Remember, I t’s not in English, and trying to pronounce them as English words is futile.
