I don't know if anybody has mentioned it but the 3 ladies started playing piano and then their parents bought them the game Rock star that comes with a plastic guitar and plastic drums and is hooked to the TV and they started playing it (Ale was still to young to join her sisters later on she also started and they got hooked on that game. And that is where their story begins.
Paulina's nickname - Pau - is actually pronounced just like the way she beats up on those drums - POW! There are videos of live performances out there where you can see her break drumsticks and even a couple where she breaks through a drum head and has to have it replaced during the concert - what's really cool is watching her adapt to not having one of the drums until the song is done. From such an early age they showed true innate professionalism. The bedrock on which they've built outstanding talent and passion to become one of best rock bands out there irrespective of age, gender, nationality.

A little info about the girls… They are 3 sisters from Monterrey, Mexico. They fell in love with rock music when their parents bought them the video game “Rock-band”. That’s how everything started. That's Pau (POW) on drums guys. Just a bit of info for you: back in 2005 when Daniela was five and Paulina was three years old and had their first experience with music when attending a summer camp with music and theatre activities. After that they began piano lessons. They listened from children’s songs like Barney to rock and roll like AC/DC and Muse. Couple years later in 2007 when Daniela turned eight and Paulina six they loved to play the popular video game ROCK BAND. This was a huge influence on which instruments the girls would start playing next. They actually have a couple songs now on Rock Band...I think they are "Free Falling" and "Survive"... Dany turned eight in January 2008 and Pau turned six a week later. Learning how to play the piano has been very important when constructing new songs. Let me be the first to point out that the Gibson Explorer Guitar Dany is playing was a gift from Lzzy Hale. Halestorm and The Warning toured together last year. Lzzy secretly worked behind the scenes to locate just the right guitar for Dany. She came on stage during The Warning’s set and, in acknowledgement of her skills, presented it to Dany on bended knee. Lot’s of videos on TH-cam of the moment. Lzzy was fulfilling a promise she’d made to “pay it forward” when a member of Shinedown did the same for her some 16 years previous.
A Dany, Just like Lizzy did when she was gifted her guitar, thought that Lizzy was loaning it to her. When Lizzy told her, "No honey, that's yours", the whole family broke out to tears. Lizzy instructed her to "Play it loud and play it hard."

We are not familiar with Halestorm so we appreciate you sharing this special moment with us. It is very cool the concept of "paying it forward" and how this community of artists are amazing at lifting each other up , especially the newer generations.
@@RNTV Halestorm is a Hard Rock/ Metal Band fronted by Lzzy Hale. In 2013 they won the Grammy for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance. Lzzy is known for her powerful vocals and was/is an idol of Dany’s for her live performances. She has been a big supporter of The Warning. Inviting them to tour with them when she first saw DPA play “Dull Knives” in an on-line concert they were both part of. ( during Covid). They’ve toured the US together twice. The Warning opening for them more than 20 times. Quite a few interviews on TH-cam where Lzzy talks up The Warning.
The Warning rabbit hole extends further back to their classical piano playing days as 5 to 6 year olds. Metallica's Kirk Hammett tweeted in 2015 - the drummer kicks maximum ass. The girls were invited by Metallica in 2021 to reimagine this song for the Black List that was released to celebrate 30 years of Black Album. Lars told them - do whatever you want just keep the lyrics. Over past few decades hundreds of bands have covered this iconic song all over the world. Even in that Black List about 20 groups, including same famous names, covered Enter Sandman. But nobody had the musical virtuosity, creativity & the confidence to strip it apart, rearrange it from back to front & then pay homage to Metallica with that iconic riff at the end. In fact, nobody could think out of the box and get out of the iconic riff. Its odd that some posters wanted you to react to the original Enter Sandman. Maybe they wanted you to review The Warning's official video of this reimagination. It was done in collaboration with Alessia Cara, a Canadian R&B singer. You must check it out as well because it gives a different feel. Luis sold his Harley to buy those instruments for his daughters. He obviously realized that to do something good you need to spend money. Mony gave up her dental practice to be with her daughters. Both parents have been part of their core management team since then. This studio in their basement is known as The Warning cave. The way things are going, specially the meteoric turn of events year, in another decade or so it will become a museum and a pilgrimage for aspiring young rockers. Besides their music & intellectual lyrics the best part of The Warning is that they had not conformed to the image of typical female rockers - no drugs, no alcohol, no swearing, no showing off physical assets, no aggressive makeup. Just your next door talented girls playing on stage.
Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. They started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarrist 23, Pau, drummer 21, and Ale, bassist 18. In 2022 they did over 100 gigs in North and South America along with Foo fighters, Halestorm, the Pretty Reckless, Three Days Grace, and Guns ‘n Roses. Earlier this year they did four shows with Muse in Mexico and finished 18 shows on the first US leg of their world tour. They then did concerts throughout Europe including opening for Muse five times in the UK and France. Many of these had 30-60 thousand fans in attendance. They recently completed the second leg of their US tour, played at the MTV VMAs, and opened for Guns N’ Roses. They just finished a spectacular tour of South America and are touring Mexico for the rest of 2023. In February of 2024 they will play Shiprock, a rock cruise; in March 2024 they will play at the P’al Norte Festival in Tecate; and in August 2024 they will play the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany. All three are classically trained pianists and Dany & Ale have played sax in the past. All three sing lead and background vocals; but Dany is the principal singer. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They appeared on the Ellen Show in 2015. They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey. But later they all graduated high school through home schooling due to their touring schedule. They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015. They started as a cover band. Their cover of Enter Sandman launched their career. They now have 49 original songs in an EP, three albums, two singles, and two unreleased but performed songs. No bad songs. Their newest released single, More, came out May 12th. Two new unreleased songs were debuted at their Guadalajara concert. They have a rich collection of live videos, music videos and lyric videos on their channel. There are also vlogs and individual performances. Any video from the August 2022 concert at the Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City is gold! When not performing they are humble down to earth individuals. Dany is a goofball and sweetheart, Pau talks with passion like a machine gun, and Ale is an introvert and a perfectionist. Metallica did not only see that version, they commissioned it... They contacted The Warning and asked if they would contribute a song for their 30th Anniversary of the Black Album, called 'Blacklist'. The Warning collaborated with canadian singer Alessia Cara on this, with them stuck in Mexico and Alessia in Canada mid-pandemic. They had 10 days to deliver the song fully mixed and produced and they nailed it. It's now the first song on the album. They also did a music video of this version. Not only has Metallica seen/heard the official video version of this cover- they asked for it. After seeing The Warning's 2014 cover Metallica shouted them out. In 2021 when Metallica was celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Black album they asked 53 artists to cover songs from that iconic album. The Warning was one of the bands asked. They teamed with Alesia Cara (Canadian pop and R&B artist) and made an amazing song/official music video. This is The Warning's live touring version of that. Metallica was so impressed with the cover that it is the 1st song on the Black List album, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Black Album.
The ES cover from 2014 was recorded in their home studio they call "The Warning Cave." They did this in one take. And they said they were nervous as they got to the end about messing up because they would have to start over from the beginning. As a family they would watch videos of rock band performances like AC/DC, Metallica, KISS, Queen, etc. so that was their early exposure to rock music. But their first exposure to music was playing classical piano and performing piano recitals at ages 5 and 6. Then their parents bought the video game "Rock Band" when Dany was 8 and Pau 6. Dany picked the guitar and Pau the drums. Ale was 3 and too little to play with them but she did like watching them play and would run around and clap for them. Their dad, Luis, would join in and play the bass with them. After playing the game for a short time they said that is where they wanted to be, on stage performing, not just playing a video game. Alejandra wouldn't start bass lessons until she was 7, some 4 years later. Eventually, their dad asked Dany and Pau if they wanted to play real instruments and they said yes. But Luis said they had to stick with it a minimum of six months. After the first week Dany's fingers hurt so much but she didn't stop. Paulina had to go to several drum teachers before finding one that would accept her because she was so little. But after a try out one teacher said leave her with me, she'll be fine. FYI: No one in their family are musicians. Their dad, Luis, is a civil engineer and their mom, Monica, is a dentist. Also, their parents go on tour with them and spent 3 months in New Jersey while recording the "Error" album. Their dad is also their manager along with Rudy Joffroy. When they recorded ES in 2014, they had only been playing together for 2 years. Alejandra had only been playing bass for 2 years at that time.
The Warning just released a 10th anniversary video of them reflecting on their journey, and it is evident still that they are in awe of what they've accomplished and where they gone to this point in their career. They are still as humble as ever. Great human beings the three of them.
The first video is a cover of a legendary song made by 3 absurdly talented children. The second video can be called Enter Sandman 2, a brilliant version that became another song by 3 phenomenal artists.
They are an incredible pool of talent. I have honestly never heard a song of theirs that I have not liked and really struggle to recommend anything from dozens of equally good songs and videos. They are an embarassment of riches musicly. You really cannot go wrong. What I will do is leave a word out for their second album, Queen of the murder scene, which is a bit of a goth angsty concept album but is fabulous and deserves to be listened to in one go, it's it's own complete thing although each song is clearly a warning song. And, at a struggle i will give two songs, one from their third album, I think, Amour, and another that will come with their next album, Hell You Call a Dream (which is only available in fan cams). This band is the future of rock.
Metallica's first reaction to the cover was 'That Drummer kicks ass' For their latest 'Black Album' they invited Allessia Cara to do a version of 1 of their songs .... Allessia Cara is signed to the same record label as the Warning so they did a collab and they did this version in 10 Days Metallica put this version number 1 on their Album. Enough Said :)
ES is track 1 so all ES versions are first on the album, then all artists that did ES are in Alphabetical order and because Allessia starts with an A their version is track 1 No need to make more of it then it is, the truth will do just fine
A little info here - Metallica didn't put their version first because they liked the song,it went alphabetically,and just by luck - Alessia Cara started with - you guessed it "A",otherwise their version would've been a few tracks down the tracklist. But as we all know,it's by far the best cover version on the album,and the live versions are better still...

The Warning and Alissa are NOT with same record label but they are with the same Management Agency as both are not US based so they need management company to handle there business in the US and that's where the connection is and who suggest that Alissa and the Warning to co-lab as he knew of the Warning story about there viral video of "Enter Sandman".

I'm quite new to TW also and all three of the sisters are insanely talented. Which is my favorite depends on what song I'm listening to, but I never get tired of seeing Pau sing while she beats on her drum kit. Her vocals are always clear and on pitch and she makes it look easy. I appreciate when Pau and Ale sing amazing backing harmonies but if you want to see Pau sing lead, she does that on Dust to Dust, 23, Revenant and Narcisista. All four are performed at the Teatro Metropolitan concert in Mexico City.
It's the Warning Cave beneath her parents' house. The mother was a dentist and the father was a sound engineer. The band is now a family business. It wasn't either game, it was Rock Band. You can now also choose songs from them there. Of course they had to try this: Playing Survive on RockBand They later got some of the instruments from their fans. I don't know if that also applies to the drums. But this should be from her parents. What always makes me grin is Ale's children's bass. It feels like it's bigger than she is. Today she's the biggest. The CDMX version is based on Metallica's Blacklist album, for which they composed a new version. So the song comes in three versions. Only Ale was impacted by a fan gifting her a bass upgrade... Dany guitars were bought by parents, then sponsorships with rick toone then PRS. Pau's drums sets were also not gifts

I may be mistaken, but I am pretty sure that during the 'Hush, little baby, don't say a word...' part they are all singing, with Pau doing the upper register and Ale the lower one.
Yes. That is their home studio, known as “ The Warning Cave”. It still looks much the same. Story is their Dad sold his Harley to help finance the instruments and studio. If you want to know more about what drives them, I suggest you watch their short, multi-part documentary called Tidal Rising… they tell all.

Also, the 2014 video was meant for their grandparents and other remote family to see their progress with their second instruments, piano being the first, but the file came out too large to email. Grandparents and parents took the girls on a cruise where they didn't have an internet connection and when they got home their dad's phone blew up. Including an invitation to appear on the Ellen show.
Aloha, what you are hearing are 4 voices! Aleessia Cara collaborated with The Warning on the cover of Enter Sandman for the Metallica Blacklist 30th anniversary! So now, in their live performances...Dany takes the lead, Pau has much of the harmonies, and Ale adds her flavor of harmony! Then Ms Cara's voice is played via sample and broadcast throughout the performance...wherever she appeared during the original collab recording. You have to pay attention to whom is singing at any one point within the performance. Most likely, when you see Ale and Dany not at their mics, and you hear a woooo, woooo...vocals, it's Ms Cara's recorded voice. Most of the higher register harmonies are from Paulina! Alejandra adds very subtle harmonies in a mid-range to compliment Dany's power leads!! 2 cents...
When I found out that Dany walked around the house for 2 days prior to filming this video in their Basement studio, practicing her Metal James face for it, I knew they took this serious AF way back then. You have to check out Pau (Ka-Pow) at 10 years old covering a Kelly Clarkson song. She was already playing that full sized adult Yamaha Kit for 2 years...at 10!! There are so many cool early videos to watch leading up until present day, it's mind boggling. They have almost 400 of their own on their channel, but there are dozens of fan channels with a vast amount of footage, live streams, interviews, concert footage, and more. If you want to know more about their history, react to the Tidal Rising documentary of them. They talk about how they started and what got them into rock music. It is only about 20 minutes long so not that big a deal to react to. Also they have another documentary about the making of their last album titled Mayday in the Making. It is a 6 part documentary, but each part is only about 5 minutes long, so total of 30 minutes. A slightly longer reaction to do but not insane. In that documentary they also talk about their history. Just a suggestion if you want to get into how they started.

You have lots of info from TWA already but for me the harmonies in this song are next level awesome. One of my favorite comments was "This is your moms version of ES" lol. 🤣 They have 22 songs at this show all great and they are on their YT page. So many good stories about the early video, mostly from the ladies themselves. One I recall is that Pau and Ale were annoyed at Dany at one point because while they spent the two days before the video shoot practicing like mad, Dany was practicing her "angry James Hetfield face." That early video was recorded and put on TH-cam so the grandparents could see their progress. It got some early traction, but really went viral after Kirk Hammett commented, and complemented them.

An interesting note: That awesome white guitar Dany is playing at the Teatro Met version, was gifted to her by Lzzy Hale of Halestorm, but Dany has to pay it forward one day. Awesome. Also, this song came about because Metalica invited The Warning (as well as other artist) to be part of the 30th anniversary Black List album. They were told to pick any song from the black album, change it any way they wanted, but do not change the lyrics. The ladies did exactly that.
Thanks for spreading the joy pulsating out into the world from The Warning Cave at their home basement. This was recorded in 2014, right around the time they attended a 5 week summer program at Berklee College of Music in Boston and Pau at age 12, was also featured in Tom Tom magazine, a women's drumming publication. Harmonix, the makers of the video game Rock Band, in a nice gesture and cool marketing move, included a song by The Warning on their 4th edition, and another later. At ages 15, 13 and 10 they performed at the Hard Rock Cafe in Boston. It was an explosive time. Paulina's nickname is "Pow", like how obviously powerful a drummer and singer she is. Pau and Dany attended a music initiation course at ages 4 and 6 and loved the piano. Pau started playing drums at age 6 when she was already an accomplished pianist and back seat singer (all 3 were accomplished on the piano by the time they were 6}. Pau and Dany had also been playing the video game Rock Band at this time and Dany took up the guitar. Ale was 3 and "she would clap along". Her sisters call her "Allay" but most people mispronounce it Allee. Dany and Ale also played the saxophone in the school band. 3 disciplined sisters who through hard work made the most of their opportunities and have created some very Listenable, Singable and Danceable SONGS !!! Like they say at Bush Hall in London, 3 incredible forces of nature...just brilliant

Great parents, next level parenting.. what's also cool, is on the wall in front of the girls is a mirrored wall. They can practice and see the way they look while playing... "Rock Band" game. Pau is pronounced POW, like a punch in the face. LOL. FYI, In most of their old videos, their ages are in the description. When the fans heard they were going to be on the Metallica Blacklist album, we were so happy. Then they released the official music video featuring Alessia Cara and we were left speechless! I recommend watching the official video, as well.
Dani was 12, Pau was 10, and Ale was 9 at that point. Their father sold his motorcycle to help build their home studio. The first time I saw this, I was captivated by Paus drumming. She was so intense and concise, the other sisters as well excelled in their musical abilities.
Not only did they get their start from the Rock Band video game, but their music was soon added into the official game. Rock Band 4 features their song, "Free Falling" and the 'Rivals' DLC for Rock Band 4 has their song, "Survive". The drummer's name is pronounced "Pow".
Nice Reaction! They recently played 3 concerts in Mexico celebrating 10 years as a band with the last being in Mexico City. About halfway through they went backstage to change clothes and they played a video on the big screen with the girls talking about the first 10 years and what it means to them while video clips of them as kids play also. Not really for a reaction, just for you to see what it has all meant to them and to catch up to where they are now. It gets a little emotional, so you've been Warned! "The Warning X Anniversary"
They recorded this for their grandparents and was meant to be sent as an e-mail but it was to long so they put it on you tube and here it went viral. That was their beginning to how they are now, stars.
This video blew my mind when i first viewed it. The skills these girls have at that age is just amazing! To be able to play those instruments at that level requires, literally, thousands of hours of practice FOR ADULTS, but these kids made it look easy! Now that they are a little older and are making their original music, their fan base is just gonna keep getting bigger.
you can't go wrong doing anything from the Teatro Metropolitan show, only Breathe is the intermission song and was just the album version as until recently, Pau had said she'd never preform it live 😉

Awesome reaction and I would recommend reacting to all the Teatro Metropolitan CDMX live concert either one by one or sets of two. Loving your reactions of our beloved The Warning DPA Goddesses. Keep them coming! Btw I saw them live last month one of three special concerts celebrating their X year anniversary and debuted two new songs, let me tell you I'm still reeling from it and in awe of their live energy and passion. When metallica proposed to the ladies and Alissia cara to be part of the black list album for the 30th years anniversary of the black album, they had just 10 days to write, rehearse, play, record and mix the song. It's during the pandemy so they are in Mexico and alessia Cara in canada

The old version is in the Warning Cave, their home's basement. And it was the RockBand video game. At one time they were invited to visit the company that made the game and were given the then brand new Rockband 4, and were sursprised to discover one of their own original songs on it 😂 The new version was what they made (with guest vocalist Alessia Cara) for the Metallica Blacklist album.
They recorded this for their grandparents and the file was too big and they uploaded it on TH-cam for them to watch. Then they went on a family vacation and came back and realized it had blown up on the internet. Also, they were invited by Metallica to play live with them and they killed it
Great Reaction! Today is Pau Day, so happy Pau day. I think everyone has trouble at first getting Pau and Ale's nick names correct. Everyone's already telling you how to pronounce Pau, so I'll jump in and say that Ale, is pronounced less Aleee, and more Alay or Aleh, being short for Alejandra. Tomorrow will be Ale day, and Friday was Dany day (the best day according to Dany). Those are a throwback to pandemic times when they would take to social media on their day and interact with the fans since they couldn't tour. They still do a bit of that when they have the time.
The white guitar that Dani is playing was bought and presented to her by her Rock idol, Lzzy Hale from Halestorm. Lzzy gave it to her onstage when they took The Warning with them on tour
I read: Luis (their father) sold his Harley, which was his dream bike, in order to raise the money to build this studio/practice space for his daughters in their home. His sacrifice did not go unnoticed by Dany, Pau and Ale. They treat this area as special, out of a sense of gratitude for his sacrifice. Can you imagine? His girls were not famous. There was zero indication that they would make music a profession. Music was nothing more than a family activity that consisted of taking the girls to music lessons and watching concerts together, at this point.

You've been corrected on how to pronounce Pau ("POW!"). Dany (Danny) is fairly straightforward. Now, as to Ale, it's pronounced like 'allay" except with the emphasis on the first syllable: AH-lay. Keep at it. We in the Warning Army always love to hear fresh takes on their songs...and on THEM. One reason we love this band is because of them, their story, and their family. Even though they hail from Monterrey, down Mexico way, they are All American Girls in the best sense of the word. Ale has come into her own finally. From that scrawny little kid in the first vid she's grown to must be nearly 6 feet tall in less than 10 years. She went through a huge growth spurt obviously and during her mid-teen years she struggled to look comfortable on stage. Now, she's 100% comfortable in her own skin and looks confident. Good girl, Ale!

Great reaction. You're not the first people that have said they felt a little emotional when reacting to these songs. They're so good. If you fancied doing another double reaction, I recommend "Survive" from their TedX talk in 2017 and the same song at Teatro last year. it's still one of my favourite songs of theirs and is a crowd favourite at their live shows. They still seem to have so much fun playing that song. They were12, 15 and 17 at TedX and it's amazing. The version at Teatro is also amazing and it's great to see how they've evolved with the little synchronicities they do on stage as well as seeing how polished they are now.
Great to see you folks doing this. These kids are amazing. By now, hopefully, you've watched the whole 22-song video of this amazing concert from August, 2022, in Mexico City. This was after they had been on the road all year, touring the USA, Canada, Mexico, and plenty of other countries. They had opened shows for Guns & Roses, The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, and Muse, and played plenty of dates at smaller venues on their own. Listen to "23," "Revenant," "When I'm Alone," "Choke," "Evolve," and "Survive." Heck, go back to their first album and react to the video of "21st Century Blood." It won all kinds of awards. This band is special. Don't miss their second Ted Talk at the University of Nevada, from six years ago. They played three songs from the 21st Century Blood album and talked about their journey to that point. The poise and professionalism they showed on that stage were off the charts. Watch Pau recover from breaking a drumstick! It lands on a cymbal and she knocks it off later... Compare that version of Survive to the version at Teatro Metropolitan. I'm 68. I've seen plenty of bands come and go. This one is going places.

I love your reactions and I would like welcome you both to The Warning Army! I have been addicted to this band since 2020 and I love it! You have a lot to check out with this band and like myself I know you will fall in love with them because they are that good. They do not know how to make a bad song and they are so good live. They are fierce and in your face on stage yet humble and funny when they are off stage. Lizzy Hale and Matt Bellamy of Muse have both given Dani guitars plus they have been invited to open for them by so many great bands!
I am a child of the '70s and grew up with classic rock, although I was not really a big rock fan in general. Now, when current friends of mine mentioned the warning and recommended the warning I didn't listen. I said I don't listen to that kind of music. It took me many months until I came across the TEDx presentation of the warning in 2017. If you haven't seen it it's awesome. When I learned about their background, they quickly became inspirational to me, in a similar way that Angelina Jordan did. Both of their careers are chronicled online from childhood. I now am an avid warning fan as well as an Angelina fan, two totally different types of music, but music that started from inspirational children. And I have become a fan of hard rock lol. I don't know if anybody has mentioned it but the 3 ladies started playing piano and then their parents bought them the game Rock star that comes with a plastic guitar and plastic drums and is hooked to the TV and they started playing it (Ale was still to young to join her sisters later on she also started and they got hooked on that game. And that is where their story begins.
Paulina's nickname - Pau - is actually pronounced just like the way she beats up on those drums - POW! There are videos of live performances out there where you can see her break drumsticks and even a couple where she breaks through a drum head and has to have it replaced during the concert - what's really cool is watching her adapt to not having one of the drums until the song is done. From such an early age they showed true innate professionalism. The bedrock on which they've built outstanding talent and passion to become one of best rock bands out there irrespective of age, gender, nationality.

That's Pau (POW) on drums guys. Just a bit of info for you: back in 2005 when Daniela was five and Paulina was three years old and had their first experience with music when attending a summer camp with music and theatre activities. After that they began piano lessons. They listened from children’s songs like Barney to rock and roll like AC/DC and Muse. Couple years later in 2007 when Daniela turned eight and Paulina six they loved to play the popular video game ROCK BAND. This was a huge influence on which instruments the girls would start playing next. They actually have a couple songs now on Rock Band...I think they are "Free Falling" and "Survive"... Dany turned eight in January 2008 and Pau turned six a week later. Learning how to play the piano has been very important when constructing new songs. Let me be the first to point out that the Gibson Explorer Guitar Dany is playing was a gift from Lzzy Hale. Halestorm and The Warning toured together last year. Lzzy secretly worked behind the scenes to locate just the right guitar for Dany. She came on stage during The Warning’s set and, in acknowledgement of her skills, presented it to Dany on bended knee. Lot’s of videos on TH-cam of the moment. Lzzy was fulfilling a promise she’d made to “pay it forward” when a member of Shinedown did the same for her some 16 years previous.
A Dany, Just like Lizzy did when she was gifted her guitar, thought that Lizzy was loaning it to her. When Lizzy told her, "No honey, that's yours", the whole family broke out to tears. Lizzy instructed her to "Play it loud and play it hard."

Lzzy is known for her powerful vocals and was/is an idol of Dany’s for her live performances. She has been a big supporter of The Warning. Inviting them to tour with them when she first saw DPA play “Dull Knives” in an on-line concert they were both part of. ( during Covid). They’ve toured the US together twice. The Warning opening for them more than 20 times. Quite a few interviews on TH-cam where Lzzy talks up The Warning.
The Warning rabbit hole extends further back to their classical piano playing days as 5 to 6 year olds.

The girls were invited by Metallica in 2021 to reimagine this song for the Black List that was released to celebrate 30 years of Black Album. Lars told them - do whatever you want just keep the lyrics.
Over past few decades hundreds of bands have covered this iconic song all over the world. Even in that Black List about 20 groups, including same famous names, covered Enter Sandman. But nobody had the musical virtuosity, creativity & the confidence to strip it apart, rearrange it from back to front & then pay homage to Metallica with that iconic riff at the end. In fact, nobody could think out of the box and get out of the iconic riff.
Its odd that some posters wanted you to react to the original Enter Sandman. Maybe they wanted you to review The Warning's official video of this reimagination. It was done in collaboration with Alessia Cara, a Canadian R&B singer. You must check it out as well because it gives a different feel.
Luis sold his Harley to buy those instruments for his daughters. He obviously realized that to do something good you need to spend money. Mony gave up her dental practice to be with her daughters. Both parents have been part of their core management team since then.
This studio in their basement is known as The Warning cave. The way things are going, specially the meteoric turn of events year, in another decade or so it will become a museum and a pilgrimage for aspiring young rockers.
Besides their music & intellectual lyrics the best part of The Warning is that they had not conformed to the image of typical female rockers - no drugs, no alcohol, no swearing, no showing off physical assets, no aggressive makeup. Just your next door talented girls playing on stage.
Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. They started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarrist 23, Pau, drummer 21, and Ale, bassist 18.
In 2022 they did over 100 gigs in North and South America along with Foo fighters, Halestorm, the Pretty Reckless, Three Days Grace, and Guns ‘n Roses. Earlier this year they did four shows with Muse in Mexico and finished 18 shows on the first US leg of their world tour. They then did concerts throughout Europe including opening for Muse five times in the UK and France. Many of these had 30-60 thousand fans in attendance. They recently completed the second leg of their US tour, played at the MTV VMAs, and opened for Guns N’ Roses. They just finished a spectacular tour of South America and are touring Mexico for the rest of 2023. In February of 2024 they will play Shiprock, a rock cruise; in March 2024 they will play at the P’al Norte Festival in Tecate; and in August 2024 they will play the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany.
All three are classically trained pianists and Dany & Ale have played sax in the past. All three sing lead and background vocals; but Dany is the principal singer. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They appeared on the Ellen Show in 2015.
They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey. But later they all graduated high school through home schooling due to their touring schedule. They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015.
They started as a cover band. Their cover of Enter Sandman launched their career. They now have 49 original songs in an EP, three albums, two singles, and two unreleased but performed songs. No bad songs. Their newest released single, More, came out May 12th. Two new unreleased songs were debuted at their Guadalajara concert. They have a rich collection of live videos, music videos and lyric videos on their channel. There are also vlogs and individual performances. Any video from the August 2022 concert at the Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City is gold!
When not performing they are humble down to earth individuals. Dany is a goofball and sweetheart, Pau talks with passion like a machine gun, and Ale is an introvert and a perfectionist.

Metallica did not only see that version, they commissioned it... They contacted The Warning and asked if they would contribute a song for their 30th Anniversary of the Black Album, called 'Blacklist'. The Warning collaborated with canadian singer Alessia Cara on this, with them stuck in Mexico and Alessia in Canada mid-pandemic. They had 10 days to deliver the song fully mixed and produced and they nailed it. It's now the first song on the album. They also did a music video of this version. Yeah, nice seeing you react to this awesome trio of siblings! Sweet reaction!

Not only has Metallica seen/heard the official video version of this cover- they asked for it. After seeing The Warning's 2014 cover Metallica shouted them out. In 2021 when Metallica was celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Black album they asked 53 artists to cover songs from that iconic album. The Warning was one of the bands asked. They teamed with Alesia Cara (Canadian pop and R&B artist) and made an amazing song/official music video. This is The Warning's live touring version of that. Metallica was so impressed with the cover that it is the 1st song on the Black List album, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Black Album.
Just fyi the ordering ion the album is by original song order, then artist name order. Not by any preference.
The ES cover from 2014 was recorded in their home studio they call "The Warning Cave." They did this in one take. And they said they were nervous as they got to the end about messing up because they would have to start over from the beginning.
As a family they would watch videos of rock band performances like AC/DC, Metallica, KISS, Queen, etc. so that was their early exposure to rock music. But their first exposure to music was playing classical piano and performing piano recitals at ages 5 and 6.
Then their parents bought the video game "Rock Band" when Dany was 8 and Pau 6. Dany picked the guitar and Pau the drums. Ale was 3 and too little to play with them but she did like watching them play and would run around and clap for them. Their dad, Luis, would join in and play the bass with them. After playing the game for a short time they said that is where they wanted to be, on stage performing, not just playing a video game. Alejandra wouldn't start bass lessons until she was 7, some 4 years later. Eventually, their dad asked Dany and Pau if they wanted to play real instruments and they said yes. But Luis said they had to stick with it a minimum of six months. After the first week Dany's fingers hurt so much but she didn't stop. Paulina had to go to several drum teachers before finding one that would accept her because she was so little. But after a try out one teacher said leave her with me, she'll be fine.
FYI: No one in their family are musicians. Their dad, Luis, is a civil engineer and their mom, Monica, is a dentist. Also, their parents go on tour with them and spent 3 months in New Jersey while recording the "Error" album. Their dad is also their manager along with Rudy Joffroy.
When they recorded ES in 2014, they had only been playing together for 2 years. Alejandra had only been playing bass for 2 years at that time.

The Warning just released a 10th anniversary video of them reflecting on their journey, and it is evident still that they are in awe of what they've accomplished and where they gone to this point in their career. They are still as humble as ever. Great human beings the three of them.

The first video is a cover of a legendary song made by 3 absurdly talented children. The second video can be called Enter Sandman 2, a brilliant version that became another song by 3 phenomenal artists.
They are an incredible pool of talent. I have honestly never heard a song of theirs that I have not liked and really struggle to recommend anything from dozens of equally good songs and videos. They are an embarassment of riches musicly. You really cannot go wrong. What I will do is leave a word out for their second album, Queen of the murder scene, which is a bit of a goth angsty concept album but is fabulous and deserves to be listened to in one go, it's it's own complete thing although each song is clearly a warning song. And, at a struggle i will give two songs, one from their third album, I think, Amour, and another that will come with their next album, Hell You Call a Dream (which is only available in fan cams).
This band is the future of rock.

The Warning and Alissa are NOT with same record label but they are with the same Management Agency as both are not US based so they need management company to handle there business in the US and that's where the connection is and who suggest that Alissa and the Warning to co-lab as he knew of the Warning story about there viral video of "Enter Sandman".

I'm quite new to TW also and all three of the sisters are insanely talented. Which is my favorite depends on what song I'm listening to, but I never get tired of seeing Pau sing while she beats on her drum kit. Her vocals are always clear and on pitch and she makes it look easy. I appreciate when Pau and Ale sing amazing backing harmonies but if you want to see Pau sing lead, she does that on Dust to Dust, 23, Revenant and Narcisista. All four are performed at the Teatro Metropolitan concert in Mexico City.
It's the Warning Cave beneath her parents' house. The mother was a dentist and the father was a sound engineer. The band is now a family business.

I may be mistaken, but I am pretty sure that during the 'Hush, little baby, don't say a word...' part they are all singing, with Pau doing the upper register and Ale the lower one.
The first time through, Ale is singing below Dany, but the high harmonies sound like Pau.

Yes. That is their home studio, known as “ The Warning Cave”. It still looks much the same. Story is their Dad sold his Harley to help finance the instruments and studio. If you want to know more about what drives them, I suggest you watch their short, multi-part documentary called Tidal Rising… they tell all.

Also, the 2014 video was meant for their grandparents and other remote family to see their progress with their second instruments, piano being the first, but the file came out too large to email. Grandparents and parents took the girls on a cruise where they didn't have an internet connection and when they got home their dad's phone blew up. Including an invitation to appear on the Ellen show.

Aloha, what you are hearing are 4 voices! Aleessia Cara collaborated with The Warning on the cover of Enter Sandman for the Metallica Blacklist 30th anniversary! So now, in their live performances...Dany takes the lead, Pau has much of the harmonies, and Ale adds her flavor of harmony! Then Ms Cara's voice is played via sample and broadcast throughout the performance...wherever she appeared during the original collab recording. You have to pay attention to whom is singing at any one point within the performance. Most likely, when you see Ale and Dany not at their mics, and you hear a woooo, woooo...vocals, it's Ms Cara's recorded voice. Most of the higher register harmonies are from Paulina! Alejandra adds very subtle harmonies in a mid-range to compliment Dany's power leads!! 2 cents...
When I found out that Dany walked around the house for 2 days prior to filming this video in their Basement studio, practicing her Metal James face for it, I knew they took this serious AF way back then. You have to check out Pau (Ka-Pow) at 10 years old covering a Kelly Clarkson song. She was already playing that full sized adult Yamaha Kit for 2 years...at 10!! There are so many cool early videos to watch leading up until present day, it's mind boggling. They have almost 400 of their own on their channel, but there are dozens of fan channels with a vast amount of footage, live streams, interviews, concert footage, and more. If you want to know more about their history, react to the Tidal Rising documentary of them. They talk about how they started and what got them into rock music. It is only about 20 minutes long so not that big a deal to react to. Also they have another documentary about the making of their last album titled Mayday in the Making. It is a 6 part documentary, but each part is only about 5 minutes long, so total of 30 minutes. A slightly longer reaction to do but not insane. In that documentary they also talk about their history. Just a suggestion if you want to get into how they started.

You have lots of info from TWA already but for me the harmonies in this song are next level awesome. One of my favorite comments was "This is your moms version of ES" lol. 🤣 They have 22 songs at this show all great and they are on their YT page. So many good stories about the early video, mostly from the ladies themselves. One I recall is that Pau and Ale were annoyed at Dany at one point because while they spent the two days before the video shoot practicing like mad, Dany was practicing her "angry James Hetfield face." That early video was recorded and put on TH-cam so the grandparents could see their progress. It got some early traction, but really went viral after Kirk Hammett commented, and complemented them.

An interesting note: That awesome white guitar Dany is playing at the Teatro Met version, was gifted to her by Lzzy Hale of Halestorm, but Dany has to pay it forward one day. Awesome. Also, this song came about because Metalica invited The Warning (as well as other artist) to be part of the 30th anniversary Black List album. They were told to pick any song from the black album, change it any way they wanted, but do not change the lyrics. The ladies did exactly that.
Thanks for spreading the joy pulsating out into the world from The Warning Cave at their home basement. This was recorded in 2014, right around the time they attended a 5 week summer program at Berklee College of Music in Boston and Pau at age 12, was also featured in Tom Tom magazine, a women's drumming publication. Harmonix, the makers of the video game Rock Band, in a nice gesture and cool marketing move, included a song by The Warning on their 4th edition, and another later. At ages 15, 13 and 10 they performed at the Hard Rock Cafe in Boston. It was an explosive time. Paulina's nickname is "Pow", like how obviously powerful a drummer and singer she is. Pau and Dany attended a music initiation course at ages 4 and 6 and loved the piano. Pau started playing drums at age 6 when she was already an accomplished pianist and back seat singer (all 3 were accomplished on the piano by the time they were 6}. Pau and Dany had also been playing the video game Rock Band at this time and Dany took up the guitar. Ale was 3 and "she would clap along". Her sisters call her "Allay" but most people mispronounce it Allee. Dany and Ale also played the saxophone in the school band. 3 disciplined sisters who through hard work made the most of their opportunities and have created some very Listenable, Singable and Danceable SONGS !!! Like they say at Bush Hall in London, 3 incredible forces of nature...just brilliant

When the fans heard they were going to be on the Metallica Blacklist album, we were so happy. Then they released the official music video featuring Alessia Cara and we were left speechless! I recommend watching the official video, as well.

Dani was 12, Pau was 10, and Ale was 9 at that point. Their father sold his motorcycle to help build their home studio. The first time I saw this, I was captivated by Paus drumming. She was so intense and concise, the other sisters as well excelled in their musical abilities.
Not only did they get their start from the Rock Band video game, but their music was soon added into the official game. Rock Band 4 features their song, "Free Falling" and the 'Rivals' DLC for Rock Band 4 has their song, "Survive".

Nice Reaction! They recently played 3 concerts in Mexico celebrating 10 years as a band with the last being in Mexico City. About halfway through they went backstage to change clothes and they played a video on the big screen with the girls talking about the first 10 years and what it means to them while video clips of them as kids play also. Not really for a reaction, just for you to see what it has all meant to them and to catch up to where they are now. It gets a little emotional, so you've been Warned! "The Warning X Anniversary"
They recorded this for their grandparents and was meant to be sent as an e-mail but it was to long so they put it on you tube and here it went viral. That was their beginning to how they are now, stars.
This video blew my mind when i first viewed it. The skills these girls have at that age is just amazing! To be able to play those instruments at that level requires, literally, thousands of hours of practice FOR ADULTS, but these kids made it look easy!
Now that they are a little older and are making their original music, their fan base is just gonna keep getting bigger.

When metallica proposed to the ladies and Alissia cara to be part of the black list album for the 30th years anniversary of the black album, they had just 10 days to write, rehearse, play, record and mix the song. It's during the pandemy so they are in Mexico and alessia Cara in canada

The old version is in the Warning Cave, their home's basement. And it was the RockBand video game. At one time they were invited to visit the company that made the game and were given the then brand new Rockband 4, and were sursprised to discover one of their own original songs on it 😂 The new version was what they made (with guest vocalist Alessia Cara) for the Metallica Blacklist album.

Great Reaction! Today is Pau Day, so happy Pau day. I think everyone has trouble at first getting Pau and Ale's nick names correct. Everyone's already telling you how to pronounce Pau, so I'll jump in and say that Ale, is pronounced less Aleee, and more Alay or Aleh, being short for Alejandra. Tomorrow will be Ale day, and Friday was Dany day (the best day according to Dany). Those are a throwback to pandemic times when they would take to social media on their day and interact with the fans since they couldn't tour. They still do a bit of that when they have the time.

I read: Luis (their father) sold his Harley, which was his dream bike, in order to raise the money to build this studio/practice space for his daughters in their home. His sacrifice did not go unnoticed by Dany, Pau and Ale. They treat this area as special, out of a sense of gratitude for his sacrifice. Can you imagine? His girls were not famous. There was zero indication that they would make music a profession. Music was nothing more than a family activity that consisted of taking the girls to music lessons and watching concerts together, at this point.
They have done like 5 versions of this song now. In Aug they had a string section from a symphony on stage backing them on this and a couple other songs,

You've been corrected on how to pronounce Pau ("POW!"). Dany (Danny) is fairly straightforward. Now, as to Ale, it's pronounced like 'allay" except with the emphasis on the first syllable: AH-lay. Keep at it. We in the Warning Army always love to hear fresh takes on their songs...and on THEM. One reason we love this band is because of them, their story, and their family. Even though they hail from Monterrey, down Mexico way, they are All American Girls in the best sense of the word.
Ale has come into her own finally. From that scrawny little kid in the first vid she's grown to must be nearly 6 feet tall in less than 10 years. She went through a huge growth spurt obviously and during her mid-teen years she struggled to look comfortable on stage. Now, she's 100% comfortable in her own skin and looks confident. Good girl, Ale!

If you fancied doing another double reaction, I recommend "Survive" from their TedX talk in 2017 and the same song at Teatro last year. it's still one of my favourite songs of theirs and is a crowd favourite at their live shows. They still seem to have so much fun playing that song. They were12, 15 and 17 at TedX and it's amazing. The version at Teatro is also amazing and it's great to see how they've evolved with the little synchronicities they do on stage as well as seeing how polished they are now.
Great to see you folks doing this. These kids are amazing. By now, hopefully, you've watched the whole 22-song video of this amazing concert from August, 2022, in Mexico City. This was after they had been on the road all year, touring the USA, Canada, Mexico, and plenty of other countries. They had opened shows for Guns & Roses, The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, and Muse, and played plenty of dates at smaller venues on their own. Listen to "23," "Revenant," "When I'm Alone," "Choke," "Evolve," and "Survive." Heck, go back to their first album and react to the video of "21st Century Blood." It won all kinds of awards. This band is special. Don't miss their second Ted Talk at the University of Nevada, from six years ago. They played three songs from the 21st Century Blood album and talked about their journey to that point. The poise and professionalism they showed on that stage were off the charts. Watch Pau recover from breaking a drumstick! It lands on a cymbal and she knocks it off later... Compare that version of Survive to the version at Teatro Metropolitan. I'm 68. I've seen plenty of bands come and go. This one is going places.

I love your reactions and I would like welcome you both to The Warning Army! I have been addicted to this band since 2020 and I love it! You have a lot to check out with this band and like myself I know you will fall in love with them because they are that good. They do not know how to make a bad song and they are so good live. They are fierce and in your face on stage yet humble and funny when they are off stage. Lizzy Hale and Matt Bellamy of Muse have both given Dani guitars plus they have been invited to open for them by so many great bands!
I am a child of the '70s and grew up with classic rock, although I was not really a big rock fan in general. Now, when current friends of mine mentioned the warning and recommended the warning I didn't listen. I said I don't listen to that kind of music. It took me many months until I came across the TEDx presentation of the warning in 2017. If you haven't seen it it's awesome. When I learned about their background, they quickly became inspirational to me, in a similar way that Angelina Jordan did. Both of their careers are chronicled online from childhood. I now am an avid warning fan as well as an Angelina fan, two totally different types of music, but music that started from inspirational children. And I have become a fan of hard rock lol. Sine as your looking at old covers, check out their cover of the Foo Fighters the Pretender. It was recorded about 7 months after Enter Sandman. It was recorded outdoors on a vacant lot just down the road from their parents house. Dany does double wrk playing both guitar parts while singing.
