I am 63 years old and have been playing since college. However, I have had over ten hand surgeries and two shoulders done in the past fifteen years so it interfered with my playing. I have found your channel and lessons to be great for forcing me to gain strength and stretching because of the chords you use. Thanks.
Good to see people still use these videos. I remember using them about 6-8 years ago myself and I still come back if I forget a certain chord. Your videos are so thorough and also to the point. Much love for what you’ve given me and my music growing up.
Dude! Just saw Casting Crowns at Heaven Fest in Colorado and loved the acoustic guitar they played in it. Listening/watching the video, none of the online tabs sounded right, but you nailed it dead on!! Thank you! Never stop playing and teaching for the King!
THANK YOU!! I've been trying to play it in G (cause thats the only key I can sing it in) but the chords are RIDICULOUS in G when you get to the bridge! So playing it in E helps SOOO much!! And all I have to do is capo it to the 3rd fret to be able to sing it in G :D I also wanted to thank you for how well you explain things!! I really appreciate that! Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the lesson, Aaron. It's very inspiring to learn to play music that can be used not only to glorify ourselves, as well as the guitars we've become addicted to, but instead to glorify God. Keep up the good work, brother. Perhaps some DC talk or Audio Adrenaline next time?
Very good lesson. Could you please tell me which tuning you are using? I love casting crowns and this song too. I am from Brazil I understand very little English but I'm sure I will understand.
Very good lesson, love the different open chords instead of just barring thru a song... Could you do "Press On" by Selah... looked online and couldn't find a tutorial, I can play the chords but would like an arrangement like this with all the accents and chord variations...
I have been playing worship music for about 4 years and this is one of the best videos I have used for my church band. I love the chord voicing that you teach in this tutorial. Thanks. Where can I find more like this??
Thank you so much for the lesson. The way you teach songs are very easy to understand. I just have a question though, in the intro and the verse, you mentioned A2 but you did two different figures. I just want to know which one is A2 and what is the other chord figure called?
Great videos Aaron. The one casting crowns tutorial song no one has done is "God is with us" (off their Christmas album) Starts off with much piano but there is awesome lead guitar in it. Can you do a tutorial on this song? Thank you!
My son Josh has a guitar in the other bed room. He says he will not play it anymore. He is not home anymore maybe my wife will let me play it so I can learn how to play it. I'm almost 59 please pray for me my wife says I have a great singing voice but no it is him The Holy Spirit that is within me.
Hey. I would really like to learn this song, but I think I would do better if I could like look at the words and see all the chords and where they go along with the diagram that shows where to put your fingers for each chords. Can you make me a word document or message that to me some how?? I would greatly appreciate it if you could do that. God bless you and what you are doing! Thank you so much!
O means open string # 4,6,6. are the number of fret, is where you place the tip of your fingers. and X means muted string... is simply by damping it with the side or tip of your finger very slightly...hope this help.

Hi Aroon! Great Job! Is it possible to have the chords ?
Nice job, however, I am not going to use this song for our praise team because the cords are kind of crazy.
Beautiful, but i got a comment:
In the chorus, you can E / D # replace by a Bsus, this sounds better and is easier to play ....
God bless,
Gideon
